I read this freat article on-line for women and I decided to share with nairaland women.

Mostly tips on how to keep your man.

1) Be physically fit: Yes this is pretty straight forward, eat healthy and exercise regularly. You need to keep yourself healthy. This is very general.

2) Blowjobs: Yes, men love it. Its one of the easiest way to show thar you care to go the extra mile for you man. Find a good position and pleasure him with your mouth.

6) Emotions: share your emotions with him. If you are happy, let him now, if you are sad, share with him. No need for suppressing your emotions and desires. I am not saying be aggressive or bitchy. Think about what you say before you say it.

See gold-digging is a thing that is caused by society.

On nairaland for instance, almost weekly, there is a thread saying should I marry a working woman or am uneducated woman. The response is usually that working women are bad and stick with the one that will depend on you.

So most Nairaland men do actually prefer a woman who will depend on them. A growing young girl will listen and start to think, why should I work / make money when men WANT to do it for me?

Secondly, men enjoy spending money on women. Its a fact. When I was growing up as a young girl. The amount of money I received from mere toasters was insane, sometimes I would get over 50k in just recharge cards alone.These men were not my boyfriends or anything just toasters.

If not that I had a strong mother who encouraged me to be independent, I might have jumped on the first rich dicxk and maybe married him sef. Or maybe went from one rich man to another.

Do I blame girls that do it? no! It pays well. Most of my secondary school classmates have much more money than I may ever make. They used their gold digging money and connections to get good/great jobs or start a business. Most of them found wealthy boyfriends and are living large.

Compared to the few of us who went to school, some of us got pregnant and settled down with an average Joe. The rest of us are average working women.

The gold digging will continue as long as men are willing to pay for women's companionship.

Op if you really want to help stop gold digging, then encourage young women to be independent.
Teach young men to not spend money on women unnecessarily . Why send a girl 100k because you want her to be your girlfriend. Love does not equal money.
