Endangered my family last night and was quite unapologetic when I blocked him off to confront him, talking about he is army. I said perfect, give me your name right now and we will verify and he refused. Unfortunately for him, he was going where I live. His passenger came to apologize but they now know my home so it's only fair I know who he is based on his behavior yesterday should anything happen to my vehicle.

I sincerely need help on this.

My KIA Cerato 2010 jerks when I start it and intermittently (a little though), a Kazeem told me I needed to change the plugs which I did but the issue persists. He later said I might have to change the coil as well.

I did a scan of the engine today and the result is what is shown in the attached picture. Kindly advise on the way forward. I have done a small Google search of the P0012 scan result and I can't find the answers in those pages.

In addition, I noticed the fuel consumption is not economical.

It's the oil control valve acting up.

If you're lucky and it's just dirty oil and filter, option one will solve your problem. If not, option 2.
1) oil and filter change
2) replace oil control valve/vvt actuator

Hi guys..

My Honda accord 2008 has its CEL on. Scanned and got codes pointing to the crankshaft sensor. Car drives smoothly only that it misfires (jerks) like once in 2 months.
Whenever this happens, the CEL starts blinking and the car goes into LIMP mode. Electricians here seem clueless about a solution - they only use the scanner to clear the CEL, after which it comes on again.

I have changed the crankshaft sensor but the while issue still persists

P.S - I also experience hard starting, especially in the mornings

Please help guys - issue is driving me nuts.

Sensor was replaced but not reset or bad sensor.

1)Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm in P or N, until the radiator fan comes on.

2) Test-drive the vehicle on a level road: Decelerate from 2,500 rpm down to 1,000 rpm with the A/T in 2, or the M/T in 2nd.

Repeat step 2 several times.

3)Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.

4)Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and wait 30 seconds.

Yeah, tow truck driver tried to steal them. When I got better, tracked him to his house where he claimed he was "holding on to it" for me. Got it all back.

Prior to crash, never respected seatbelts. My date had his on and walked away without a scratch. Since then, seatbelt and I are best friends and I don't play with anything srs or abs on car.

If you only knew lol. He's the master tech for the shop but back in the day let's just say NY police weren't fans grin

Crazy thing is I walked out of it, didn't realize my knee was split open and tried to get back into the car to retrieve my winnings from earlier that night. Construction workers had to drag me back before I realized I was bleeding all over the place.

I didn't say anything about using them for racing o. I don retire because of Baby Radu and co. I'm talking about in real world use. They are quicker which means ole wey wan catch me, good luck. Plus mile range is increasing every day. For the noise, that's easily reproduced. There's a reason Tesla is more worth more than Ford and Chevy combined. Souvenirs from my last Challenger. He lost, blindsided me on a date on the freeway another day at 2am and flipped my car using a construction sign. Car flipped three times and slid upside down for a quarter of a mile, lost skin on the back of my hand dragging on the asphalt, nerve damage, and knees split open. Engine block ~~crashed~~ cracked in half. I can tell you this, video game accident POVs are pretty accurate!

Excuse the ashiness. I just comot for shower.

I used to race and have the scars to show for it. Well aware of the difference. Yes, electric is quicker not faster... which is what is more useful to me. Half a second off the line and you're NOT catching me. They generally drive better though.. I'm genuinely curious why your choice. The satisfying roar? Because that can easily be simulated.

Scanning is 5k in some places around Lekki, I know few places
- Dunlop afte Lekki central mosque
- Golden Ruby after Chisco traffic light when coming from Jakande. If you repair the car with them they refund the 5k
- Petrocam, though their system is bad, they'll refer you to Dunlop
- Kazeem at ipara, Jakande. Be careful here, I've not use them before, I saw a driver cry one day. The problem was; his car wouldn't recognize its key again after scanning, all security system went hairwire, the car began to display unknown language on the nav screen. We have to call another pro to come and save the innocent driver.

Scanning is free with repair with us. Even something as small as an oil change. Otherwise if you just want to scan and go it's 5k

I've in recent weeks been researching and downloading some apps with the hope I could get a better one than Gmap, but hasn't.

I will try that Waze.

I don't know about Nigeria but Waze rocks in US. Serves a different purpose from Google maps though.. ideally you use both. Google now owns it though and introduced some of its features to Google maps closing the gap.
