And this is why i say your mentality is a problem. You are looking at a picture of an air craft using tape to hold a compartment up. The question you should be asking is if they can cut corners there, where else could they be cutting corners? This is why it was ok for Nigerians to board an aircraft with a ladder. They did it because they had a mentality like yours. I have flown in and out of multiple countries and in all my travels i have never seen the deplorable standards that exist in Nigeria. The standards In Nigeria exist because of people like you who see nothing wrong it.

I concur with u my brother, the way they fly somethings can keep u on the edge of ur seat. Like say na cargo be the humans wey dey inside. U go just notice say weather dey ok, yet the captain dey tilt at amost 45degree, weytin him dey dodge I no know? Yet Nigerians go say its normal. There ways a day I was even thinking we go crash for the way the captain take decend. He has started descending before the sill guy announce say make we tight seat belt. Abeg wat if I dey toilet nko. I no go wast my yansh before I come back seat be that o.

Bros, if you fly regularly, you will surely know, just like many commentators here, that this is Arik Air. In addition, Dana & Aero don't have aircraft that have inflight entertainment system which you see at the back of the seat, because their (Dana & Aero) aircraft are older, compared to Arik's which are a bit newer & more modern. I have flown on them all including First Nation, Medview & Discovery Air, so I know as so many others do.

well I dnt fly any other but Arik (locally) n to be honest I never saw that warning at that seat in any of their flights. I only guess those airline for I know their crafts are ancient unlike Arik.

what are u guys saying? That the persanger that book that seat should put his snacks and drink on his lap or what? Let's assume its an international flight of 6hours or more? More over I can bet my penny on this craft, its not Arik. Arik will nt seal that tray so poorly. It may be Aero Contractors or Dana, lol. But seriously, Oyinbo wey place that seat beside that emergency door no stupid now. The tray is just a plastic that in emergency, one smash on it, it will break. So y are the airline sacrificing the perssanger's comfort on unnecessary safty mesure. Trust me, if it were me, I won't sit, infact I must see the captain. I will cause troble so tey my seat must be changed, or I swap with someone or that tray must come down wen I wanna dine. Simple as ABC

Mumbai - A man in India has allegedly murdered
14 members of his family, including seven
children, with a butcher's knife before committing
suicide near the city of Mumbai, police said.
The massacre happened after family members
gathered late on Saturday at one of their homes
in Thane, about 32km from Mumbai, for a family
function, police said.
"The attacker, Hasnin Anwar Warekar, hung
himself after slitting the throats of all other family
members including his parents," a Thane police
spokesperson, Gajanan Laxman Kabdule, told the
AFP news agency.
The sole survivor of the attack - Warekar's sister -
was taken to hospital after neighbours heard her
screaming for help after midnight and alerted
police.
"We still haven't been able to speak with the
attacker's 21-year-old sister, the lone survivor of
the attack, who is in deep trauma at a
city hospital," Kabdule said.
Warekar, 35, attacked his family after apparently
lacing their food with a sedative, according to
several local media reports.
But the Indian Express newspaper said the
assailant stabbed his victims after they went to
bed, having all decided to spend the night at
the house

Kaduna - The Kaduna State Government has announced the release of 19 inmates of Birnin-Gwari Prisons, as part of ongoing efforts to decongest prisons in the state.
This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday in Kaduna by Mr Barau Emmanuel, Technical Assistant on Media to the state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Ruth Dyeris-Sijuwade.
It said that the prisoners were released after evaluation of their cases by the Committee on Prisons Decongestion, headed by the commissioner.
According to the statement, those released were mainly first time offenders for non-capital offences and those held for offences not found in law.
``Members of the committee are of the opinion that such offenders are better given a second chance to change their ways and turn good citizens, instead of allowing them to be in jail with hardened criminals.
``Among those released were those already granted bail, but could not meet up with their bail conditions and an inmate, who was released on medical grounds and whose crime is a minor offence,”it said.
It further said that all the released inmates were given a repatriation sum to reunite them with their families.
``The Attorney-General admonished them to take advantage of the second chance to make meaning out of their lives and contribute meaningfully to the society.
``She equally warned that those who return to crime would meet the full wrath of the law,” said the statement.

Three-year-old Darasimi Ogunwumi, who allegedly drank acid, seems to have been abandoned by the authorities of the school where Darasinmi was said to have taken the deadly substance, according to the mother. Mrs Toyin Ogunwumi told Sunday Vanguard, on Friday, that the authorities of Fahsal Children School, Ilupeju Estate, Idiroko, Ogun State had not visited her son since last November after he was admitted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, Lagos. According to the mother, the only effort made by the school towards the boy’s recovery was the N30,000 it sent to the family. Efforts to reach the proprietress of the school, identified as Mrs Fahsat Abubakar, at the weekend, to respond to Mrs Ogunwumi’s claim, proved abortive as the person who picked Sunday Vanguard calls to her phone, said she was not available. Meanwhile, the mother said Darasinmi was due for two surgeries last week, saying one was done while the other was outstanding. Saying the boy was responding to treatment, Mrs Ogunwumi said: ‘’We were told to do some tests on him at Me Cure Health Centre, Oshodi. The results are already with doctors. So, we are waiting for the next line of treatment and the secondary surgery’’. The mother expressed her appreciation to well-meaning Nigerians who had donated in aid of the treatment of Darasimi, and added that the family would appreciate more donation as the boy’s treatment was still far from being over. The victim, recuperating at ward E4 of LUTH, was said to have, out of thirst, drank acid in place of water in school’s laboratory while the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) was on.

Irene Mbithe has been arrested after brutally killing her six-
month son in Kangurue, Nairobi, Kenya on Thursday,
February 25.

The woman reportedly ripped out his tongue and intestines
in an exorcism ritual after she became convinced the boy
had been possessed by the demons.

Neighbours reported Irene to police after she was heard
screaming, cursing loudly and throwing away the baby’s
clothes in the late hours of the night.
Residents of the Nairobi slum gathered to the scene as
police arrived to arrest the woman
Irene’s aunt, Catherine Muthama, was the first to arrive at
the scene, she said: “When I arrived I was surprised to see
the mother having pulled out the tongue of the baby and I
screamed at her asking why she had killed him.”
Trying to explain her actions the woman, who is believed to
be a member of a Machakos-based cult, said she didn’t want
to hurt the baby and just followed her church’s teachings.
Police took Mbithe for questioning at the Kayole Police
station while the body of the baby was taken to the mortuary
The remorseful mother added: “God punish me if I have
done anything wrong to my son who I love so much and
have prayed for years to conceive and give birth to.”

According to local media reports, the boy had been
suffering from constant fever and had malformed genitals
that tricked Irene into believing a dark force is behind her
son’s condition.
Police officers took Mbithe for questioning to the Kayole
Police station, while the baby’s body was taken to the
morgue for post mortem examination.

Scientists in Brazil conducted a study into the causes and
symptoms of having a fractured penis.
The results were published in Advances in Urology – and
they don’t make for pretty reading.
They found that sexual intercourse with the woman on top is
potentially the riskiest position related to penile fracture.
“Our study supports the fact that sexual intercourse with
‘woman on top’ is the potentially riskiest sexual position
related to penile fracture,” the report says.
“Our hypothesis is that when woman is on top she usually
controls the movement with her entire body weight landing
on the erect penis, not being able to interrupt it when the
penis suffers a wrong way penetration, because the harm
is usually minor in woman with no pain but major in the
penis.”
Doctors and academics looked at patients attended A&E
with suspected penile fractures over a 13-year period.
Half of the afflicted men reported hearing a cracking noise
during intercourse before experiencing intense pain and
swelling.
The unfortunate fellows then lost their erections and had to
be taken to hospital immediately.
A fractured penis is a serious problem as non-surgical
treatment can lead to up to 50% of patients being left with a
permanently deformed penis.
Members of the study also suffered from erectile
dysfunction and a lifetime of painful sex.

4. Double Blunders in national budget.
5. Lack of concentration and zeal.
6. Excuses and criticism here and there.
7. Economy down time at accelerated rate.
8. Crazy reforms with no good intent nor meaning.
9. Fallacy and hypocritical speeches.
10. False news of money laundering.
11. Witch haunting.

List is endless. Personally, buhari is a disappointment to every meaning of the word. We know before a country gets better we must sacrifice something as a patriotic citizen. But pls what are we sacrificing? Students graduate to get no job, parents not paid their salary to cater for their wards, scarcity of water yet their is water board. Increment of nepa bill with no improved provision of light. Guys let's be honest ones in our lifetime, a devil we know is better than an angel we dnt know. The most corrupt government in Nigeria never witnessed this economy downtime of this man. The ministers are nt active, we hardly hear them on news. What's going on? Anyone sitting and saying this man is doing good is nothing but a bootliker, sociopath, sycophant, and brainwashed. We are wealthy in this country, yet an average nigerian hardly earn 100dolar per day. While a primary school holder senator is earning millions. What's our problem? Are we just too happy that we can't see nor think clearly. Saying a government is better than another is like comparing gray and black, are they not both dark? Please let's reform our thinking, point at the defaulting government, we are the government and our voices must be heard else our next generation will curse us, belive u me!

How tired I am from 8 hours journey, I can't help but to comment on this. Sometime I wonder if Fayose knows he is a Governor not an ordinary citizen. He should know better the gravity of what he is saying in public and know this is a prosecut-able offense. Am not a fan for bubu yet these allegations is far fetched. Even I wonder if buhari could ever learn from his mistake. It is this saudi arabia he went in August 84 when babangida ousted him. Yet he still dey travel around. Well its his funeral, but broda fayose u really need to watch ur mouth wey dey run like tap, it will land u in trouble, u too no dey learn from mistake.
