Wale said categorically there is not intention of taking Oando private. |
But why didn't you go back in? I also sold at around #40. But I went back in when it came down from the peak of around $90. So far I have made about 30% return JIJOing in Oando since then. I am now on my 3rd ride. SonofElElyonRet: |
Where's Sister Myc? Is she already off for Xmas? Or has she been drafted into the wedding organizing committee of Ginalex? |
Just have a plan leparj: |
Dangote refinery extends export to three African countries https://punchng.com/dangote-refinery-extends-export-to-three-african-countries/ |
Oga megawealth01. You can edit your posts by pressing "Modify". Then make your changes and repost. Meanwhile, go easy on the weekend drinks.😀 megawealth01: |
I believe you can get that on Morgan iTrade. But you may have to screenshot it. Click on "Trades," then search Oando. Choiceguy: |
YC-backed internet provider Tizeti will become the first Nigerian startup to list on IPO-starved NGX https://techcabal.com/2024/12/13/tizeti-ngx-ipo/ |
Lazy Austin is really lazy today. |
I disagree with you on this issue. We don't hold people to account because of this kind of reasoning. Wrong is wrong no matter who committed it. We can't excuse one because others have done it. This is why we now have a society where anything goes. If we know who did wrong we should demand they be held to account. If nothing is done we should continue to demand that justice be done in each case. megawealth01: |
We really need more billionaires in Nigeria to catch the higher numbers in Egypt and South Africa. Imagine if we have 3 more billionaires disrupting sectors like steel, agriculture , transportation, mining, power and tech, and investing $20b in each, like Dangote did to Oil and Gas. Mpeace: |
You are right. Only I understand a refinery needs huge working capital. I read somewhere that he will need $3b just for crude purchases only. Can't recall for how many months of operation. That maybe why the initial plan was for part of the 20% share of the NNPCL to be in initial crude supplies. But they pulled out when he needed them most. So he will definitely need capital. Streetinvestor2: |
Wow. Dual listing will make it a 15k price per share at least. megawealth01: |
Me too. But you know Alhaji is a very calculating biz man. He will list only when all things fall in place. Not sure NGX can be source of significant amount of capital for him though. megawealth01: |
Refined oil is a global commodity. If one doesn't buy it, another will. You can't wish away a 650,000 bpd refinery. megawealth01: |
Who will buy @28 when the RI is @25, a more than 10% difference? The extension of the RI period to 30th December may also be discouraging people. BabsO2: |
FBNH RI closes today. Any talk of extension? |
Some people still want to sell FBNH @ 28 to 29, and then buy their RI @25. If you have 40m shares the margin is significant. |
Oyibo know how to take care of their own. One major German company in Nigeria having problems with this government, and the German president comes running on their behalf. Maybe at the same time get Nigeria to keep sabotaging its own domestic oil refining by continuing to import fuel from Europe. megawealth01: |
Good for you. jonnysessy: |
What's happening with CONOIL reminds me of the saying, "Play Where the Billionaires are". Maybe their annual race for the Forbes List has started. Streetinvestor2: |
I never buy oo. I was one of those urging caution, and being attacked with vawulence. megawealth01: |
Chai! WAPCO closed at 65 today. This market na wah oo. Sometimes it doesn't pay to chase stocks. |
Yes. I noted how they forced the closing price down to 61 yesterday after 2:20pm. megawealth01: |
This is positive for the FBNH though. I don't see the trouble here. chimex38: |
Or better still, release Q3. pluto09: |
Looks like it's going to be another Oando week. Happy new week everyone. megawealth01: |
