If IPMAN is not a monopoly, I don't know what is. They sit down, determine and fix the price of petrol from Lagos to Maiduguri.

That's super stressful (and risky) trading...
Someone has to feed the brokers ...

I just bought 1,000 units now at ₦500/share. If it dips tomorrow, I hope to buy another 1,000 units
I am staying away from Aradel until it has established a clear trend pattern and a value zone.

Just to be clear, my post is not an attack and not entirely addressed to you. cheesy You may find my comment to be unrelated to your post:

I wouldn't read too much into it. CBO capital has been selling down their holdings for a while and gave the reasons why. Most importantly, they are not selling to retail (as such) but to instos (that's how MBC securities came on board). That's the difference between flooding the market with sales leading to drop in SP. You would observe Ellah Lakes SP has been in an upward trajectory inspite of this announcement by CBO earlier in the year. Volume and price action tells a story.

Also, Chuka Mordi is not selling down his stake per se. He is actually increasing his stake via Blackman & Co where he is a director along with his brother Emeka Mordi. DYOR.

Additionally, there is no greater vote of confidence in a company than for a director to sacrifice a portion of his salary for shares in the company. It demonstrates passion, commitment and confidence in the prospects of the company.

Like I mentioned in my previous post on Ellah Lakes, the company is on the right path Operationally and Strategically.

Photo #2 - Unaudited Q4 2024.

Disclaimer - This is still not a recommendation to Buy or Sell. I could be sincerely wrong so anyone is welcome to fact-check my post. I have no issues with anyone that has something against Ellah Lakes either cheesy . No emotional attachments to companies I post about.

So far, I think I'm liking how those with opposing views and opinions, especially on OANDO and "thread cast" just kept reading along without necessarily throwing this thread to another noise making contest.

I hope we will all still maintain our cool for now.

If O&O shellholders as you called it are less with 10% holding and price appreciation follows, won't this make shellholders happy at least?

Oga Street you're right, NSE is not all about OANDO, no be only Oando Waka come, plenty stocks still full ground to discuss.......let's discuss about them.

If I knew EUNISELL will respond on time like this, I would have been well seated before the bus moved......
Of course I was placing bids at below 2.90, saw when one person came to clear the offers at N2.91.....
After sometimes with no activities and bids not filled for more days due to illiquidity, I just carry face commot from there. I mentioned it to 2 pple.
If to say it was mentioned here, you for don possibly say i don bring another monkey come. 😊

** Not any advice to buy at current price again, it's already high in my opinion**
It's well.
Poor me. I am only interested in Oando right now because it, and maybe Aradel, fit my trading plan. I try to trade only one or two stocks at a time. The stock should have high liquidity and volatility, and I go in with almost all of my capital for quick 10% to 20% gain. Oando gives me that right now. Of course occasionally I error and get trapped in some stocks, like recently in UCAP and TRANSPOWER. But my entry into them was consistent with my basic trading plan.

I don't fall in or out of love with a stock, and won't fight anyone for writing pro or against any stock. If you read my recent posts on Oando you may call some against and some pro depending on your disposition. But I don't mean it to be. Last week I made a quick 17% on Oando. I am just looking for a similar setup. And my posts are just to sound people up to see if my predictions are right.

So if we are banned from talking of Oando I will be left in the cold sort of. I know there are other stocks that can give me my trading setup, such as the banks, but I can't predict the banks right now. So please pardon me if I keep posting on Oando.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 5:20pm On Nov 12, 2024
Oando closed at 62.05. If it closes below 58.80 tomorrow we could head to 50.00. Q3 better be good.

Btw. Oando has not indicated if they applied for and gotten approval for late submission of Q3 and when they expect to file it.

All offers at days low mopped up
You can sell if you think your BP is rising nah. smiley
OANDO is coming for fund raising, we don't know at what price yet but there may be pumping when the time is coming near......
Not any form of certainty that there'll be pumping but highly likely once the price is determined....
Again, not still sure of the means of fund raising, may be in form of Bond or equity or both......not limited to private/strategic investment.

** Not any form of advice pls**
Shouldn't there be an AGM to appeove fundraising?

This used to be my line of thought on this grade matter. But then again, what standard do our regulators want? cheesy
Can they measure the standard even if they know it? Or will lack of capacity and corruption make the effort fruitless?

Isn't it absurd that you have a higher quality product, made in your country, that will reduce demand for foreign currency, strengthen your own currency and reduce inflation; but you prefer a lower quality product, concocted and blended abroad by your selfish and unscrupulous importers.

The probability of i and ii is very low say 20% because of debt/bond it want to raise within same period and the negative effect of such on the raise

The probability of iii is 100%. nobody should count on dividend until the debt raise is concluded, effectively meaning no dividend in 2015

IV would depend on the success of the debt raise. If successful, you can be rest assured there wld be acquisition as it heads into 2016. If not successful then i struggle to see where payment for any acquisition wld come from
Great analysis.

(i) and (ii) will also show whether the management and the company are turning new page as many of us are hoping.

Guess what will be price of Oando in April 2025 if (i) Q3 2024 is disappointing (ii) no Q4 2024 results (iii) no talk of dividend, (iv) no new acquisitions.

What's Proshare's own with OANDO? Everyone is saying that the delisting issue is dead. But they are digging up old interviews with minority shareholders and saying the issue is still alive.

If you want to be very wealthy, learn to leverage other people's time and/or money
I studied especially Dangote. Whenever he talks about his businesses he will talk of the loans he took. I realized that what people like him have that many others don't is ability to creat, and run very well, businesses using theirs and other people's money. They create wealth for themselves and others. The trick is when you take the money can you make it work for you and the owners. If you can't, you will lose big because the money lenders create terms to protect themselves from losing.

Access Bank keeps expanding yet their share price in Nigeria is not expanding
Those foreign branches are for the purposes of the major owners. They know what they are doing there. Even the CBN doesn't know. Just recently the CBN was said to be looking to partner with some organization to help them supervise foreign branches of Nigerian banks. Don't know why CBN gives licenses to banks to operate internationally when they know that they can't supervise them there.
