No wahala. Na when we see the bonus for our account first we go begin ask for watin e follow join body. I don see bonus for some company here way reach 6 months before it hit thr account counting from mark down date
It doesn't matter when the bonus are allotted for long term holders. It's either you get 1 or (1/3 x 3)=1. But for those who sold after the adjustment they will supper losses.

That 9-10k valuation was pre-split. When I entered the stock I did the valuation and got that amount. I do NOT see it at Seplat level within the next 12 months. Production is too little. But if they get SPDC, it changes the whole conversation.
Wow. So if the bolded happens we could get the Oando/Eni scenario all over again?

The news around this deal is peculiar. I’ve seen conflicting reports over the last few months. Before Business day told us it was rejected initially then two weeks after wrote a contradictory article stating that it was approved. A source I’ve spoken to who’s a senior insider in Aradel since inception has told me it’s 95% going to happen, they just need to grease a few palms. Perhaps that’s what’s holding it up. We just have to wait and hear it from the FG/NUPRC
Thanks. I got an idea of the kind of struggles and intrigues involved from a thread on X (Twitter) by @Rufyb involving the formation of Seplat and how they got to purchase Shell assets:

https://x.com/Rufyb/status/1845978664766525778?s=08

It will be nice to know the full story and those behind the masks in the case of Aradel when all is finally done.

ARADEL

Please our Oil and Gas experts in the house how will the following story affect current Aradel rally? Has it already been factored in?

All these venture capitalist come to the market to cash out and leave the rest for kobo kobo dividend investors. They won't make the same thousands percent that they already have in their pocket so onto another hidden opportunity
And the kobo kobo people will be the buyers.

A good company doesn't need marketing before people buy its shares.
Let oando release a good and timely financial reports and see how many will rush to buy the shares.
Oando is moving today though. Don't know if it's Aradel effect.

Those founding members rushed to sell their units at the high, as soon as it was listed. Even with the very low free float, transpower is still on red since those guys are not done selling.
Some of these stocks need less availability to move in price. Scarcity is key.
I think your observation is right. They even went beyond that to ensure the price didn't move up by splitting deals to units below 100k and making off market deals instead of on the floor deal.

No of trades on both stocks are quite low so far.
(may be wrong)
There seems to be a volume jump on UCAP too. Any news?

The information I have currently is that there’s a link to the Dangote refinery. And a couple of days ago almost 10% of its os was traded. I’ll share more info when I find it.
Great. Thanks

grin What are you finding there. Coincidentally this question dropped at my table yesterday. No info on the stock besides that they did private placement a few years ago. Also doing DD
I found that they supply drilling mud and bits. They are also doing services in logistics similar to Caverton and CI leasing. Can't find any financial statements except some mention of figures in the press during the Yahoo days of the market around 2006.

Kindly share what you ultimately find and what your investors decide to do.

Is it not among those private placement that swallowed investors money?? I remember Pedri too.
Please can you elaborate on this issue of Geo Fluids swallowing investors' money?

I saw some buying momentum picking up on it on NASD and intend to do some DD before buying. It is possible the buying momentum is just because it is in the oil and gas sector. People are now buying anything O&G.

Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 1:50pm On Oct 10, 2024
@Myc please what do you know about the company Geo Fluids? It is listed on NASD. However I found info online that it has been around since about 2006. There was announcement in the press that it was to be listed on NSE (now NGX) in 2012. But I can't find any confirmation that it was actually listed. It is not on the list of delisted companies on the NGX website. I can't find website a website of Geo Fluids.

You are a Real Tomb Raider. hahahhaha N13 position From Thirty to Thirteen. Lol
Actually the rally started when it was #11 back in May this year. Give it another 6 months it can retrace back to #13.

On a more serious note, ETERNA has been playing around ₦30, ₦27, now it's currently at ₦24.70 angry

Any sort of good news will definitely come as a much needed reprieve...
What good news? Was it not the news of Eterna being approved as dealer for Dangote refinery that caused the rally in the first place? Now that anyone can go and buy from the refinery it should go back to its #13.

When you see GTL taking position in a stock, it means they've seen what others can't see now.....

- GTL picked quite a large number of units in MEYER several years ago at N0.50k
- When MEYER eventually sold some asset and distribute N1.50 to shareholders, GTL made fortune here.....
- In addition, the stock of 0.50k that year is now trading @N8.50k
- Those guys dey try abeg. smiley

** Pls note: GTL have the patience to wait for several years.........
** Also note, this is just a reminder and example of such stock bought by GTL in the past.
Not any form to of buy/sell advice.......Do not mention Mcy in any decision you make. 😁
Even the off market deal at #0.45 is at a huge discount to begin with.

They are not tired. They just can't justify it anymore. Dangote has scattered that particular cabal.

Thee truth shall prevail. Goernment admitting that their refineries will never work again. Alhaji should not sell NNPCL anymore shares. We don't need government hands in refining anymore.

Things are gradually falling in place for the Dangote Group. Hopefully Dangote needs to revisit the merger of Dangote Sugar and NASCON.

Market is really not showing definite direction. Some stocks go up early and later come down. This has happened now to NASCON, Oando and some others.

Yes. How I wish I could share their business plan here. The reason why I am super bullish long run is because of that deal to acquire Shells assets. The amount of gas reserves is huge and gas is still majorly untapped in Nigeria. The Refinery will also start producing petrol hopefully in Q4 and LPG. They’re also about to complete acquisition for a new tank farm. Like I said, me I’ve made good money, enough where I can decide not to trade for years, I’ll be exiting shortly. But those that have a long term view it is a really great company
I understand one of their venture capital investors is planning to sell off when they list on the NGX. Those VCs are good at knowing when to sell out. May be wise to look at them.
