pluto09: PAT is 9.7b while PBT is 11b. And what I like most is the low impairment charge(8 .7b). Kudos to you guys at Fidelity What was the dividend yield last year? With a fall in PAT one expects the div yeild to at most stay the same. Hope we are not going back to the days of Oceanic with these banks! |

Coolcash1: Good question... Honestly, it's a case of yes and no for yours truly...Stocks I made a kill from include, MOBIL, TOTAL, DANCEM, NBL, DANFLOUR, SKYE...Stocks that gave me below 30%; GTB, Livestock
Loss producing stocks include; Guinness, GSK, Fidelity, Zenith, CCNN, crazy Champion, Oando, Seplat (bought at #650 and had to take massive loss to move on but retained just few units for future recovery).
Capital exposure to the market is over 10M
With the good news of oil recovery, government's plan to float euro bonds and push for a true flexible exchange rate I am certain 2017 will be greener
Happy new year in advance folks. Do you work full time on this? You do get into a lot of stocks. Why not specialise on just one or two sectors? You may do better with your high capital base. |

Godisfaithful: Sir, i'm very sorry for my recent opinions. What's on ground needs serious attention by the central government. The president is just postponing the doom day which no one will ever pray for. This is not the time to keep given out excuses but time to free the economy with free trade policy, starting from our foreign exchange. We are import consuming country...95% of what we consume here is imported and we are not producing anything that will be self sufficient. Forget crude oil price volatility, USA shale wouldn't allow OPEC to have a laugh last. If the economy is free with free trade policy (Not controlled economy that we operate presently) everything will start normalizing. Don't expect FDI and FPI as long as our dear "Do nothing" President is still operating on economy policy deficiency syndrome? Once again, I'm sorry but i have to let everyone know that 2017 might be tougher(We are praying and hoping not to be so) if drastic changes are not implemented ASAP.
Let's remember, HOPE is bad for investment and business! I believe we are at a huge historic turning point. There are no quick and easy fixes but time and doing the right things. The time it will take to do the change depends on the skill of those leading, and of followership to understand the inevitability of change. |

db15: My ogas, I greet. Please I need your opinion. If shares were bought through ipo and without any stock broker. Now I wanna get all dividends and subsequently have dividends paid into the account. do I or must I register with a stockbroker first or I can just fill e-dividend forms. Have you received dividend warrant and bonus certificates posted to your address before? If so you may just fill the eDividend forms. If not you may have to see the registrars to sort out issues. Brokers get involved only if you want buy more shares or sell some of the ones you have. |

Chibuking81: Between now and two years coming, the chances of stocks moving up to the northern pole is higher than moving down to southern pole.
Now is a good time to invest, many that invest now will turn to billionaire and millionaire within two/ three year coming. (jijo ideology should be suspended for now)
1. 60k/90k stocks, like skye bank, unity bank and fidelity bank will likely move up to ₦6 within two/three years.
(a)@60k * 1,000,000 unit = ₦600,000 (six hundread thousand naira). If it move up to ₦6, '@₦6 * 1,000,000 unit = ₦6,000,000.(six million naira)
2. ₦1/₦2 stocks, like diamond bank, fcmb, UCAP, AFRIPRUD and transcorp will likely move up to ₦8 within two/three years. (a) @₦1 * 1,000,000 = ₦1,000,000 (one million naira) if it move up to ₦8 @₦8 * 1,000,000 = ₦8,000,000 (eight million)
3. ₦2.50/₦3 stocks, like Eterna and FBNH will likely move up to ₦15. (a)@₦2.50 * 1,000,000 unit = ₦2,500,000. If it move up to ₦15. @₦15 * 1,000,000 = ₦15,000,000.
4. ₦3.80/₦4 stock like UBA and Dangoteflour, will likely move up to ₦18
5. ₦5/₦6 stocks like Oando, Access bank, CCNN, Dangote sugar and UBN will likely move up to ₦25/30.
6. ₦14 stock, like zenith bank will likely move up to ₦45
7. ₦36/41 stocks, like okomu oil and Julius berger will likely move up to ₦100 and so many others too. I remember when someone recommended buying FO on SMN when it was around N15, and we all laughed and called him a Prophet. Many of us must have regretted not listening 2 years later when it went to N250. PS I am not saying it will happen again this time. |
