salanda: OANDO This rally is only part one, part two is coming later...heading to 6! Part two may depend on the release of the backlog of results they are supposed to release in their agreement with SEC, and if the results are good. However, sentiment is always a factor with OANDO. |

bigjay01: https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/33711_OANDO_PLC%20OANDO_PLC_ENTERS_INTO_A_SETTLEMENT_WITH__THE.pdf Thanks @bigjay01. I actually saw this Press Statement by Oando, and I am not doubting it. But I thought SEC too should issue a statement. This will prevent the claims and counter claims. When two parties come to such agreements they usually issue joint statements, or separate supporting statements. |

yMcy56: OANDO Full Bid! Over 72M units @3.61 as at now..... Can remember telling one oga that my insinct is telling me Oando will move.....chai! Don't know it will be so soon..... Hmm.. FOMO is tell me to buy. But risk management is telling me to wait until I see a confirmation of Oando letter by SEC, and the withdrawal of law suites. |

yMcy56: Thanks too. My preferred Long Term Stocks : These are actually the consistent dividend paying stocks. If entry is timed right these could be considered: Most of the big cap stocks....... Nestlé, MTN, SEPLAT, OKOMU, PRESCO, DANGCEM, Airtel, BUA, etc ........and also: VITAFOAM, CAP Plc, Custodian, UCAP, Conoil, NEM, JB, Learn Africa, GSK, M&B, Fidson, Dangsugar, Wapco...
The Tier 1 banks (F.U.G.A.Z & Stanbic) fits into Short, medium and long term, depending on the periods in view, your investment objectives and your personality (culled this out from one of Oga Wanaj0's posts). Tier 2 Banks fits more into short and medium, also fits into long term anyway.... Short Term : Other banks, some insurance stocks, JP, HW, TRANSCORP, Livestock.......... remember some could also fit into long term.
Actually the list is not exhaustive and not cast in stone. Also bear in mind that regular review of each stock is very important to know if they're still performing up to expectations.
This is my opinion......... **NB: Note the entry comment, good to enter at bargain/cheaper prices** Kind of you to take your time and give this info. Clearly the long lists show how difficult this game is, and the need to have a plan. Unfortunately I found that making a trading/investment plan is easier said than done. Even if one makes a plan sticking to it is not easy. This however is not meant to discourage. |

yMcy56: Lol. Access is a double digit stock nah..... Pullback is normal........traders, profit takers, short termers and such stuff........ Patience will pay off.......
**Caveat: Strictly my opinion** Agreed. But I learnt to take what the market gives me. If the pull back is significant I will go back in. |

maishai: Nothing will happen, Buhari will do his 8 years on point, the mistake was made 4 years ago to conduct a free and fair election,No ruling party will ever try that again in the history of Africa........ Let us pray that economic indices will favor Nigeria so as not to bear the brunt of our rulers choices.........btw there is no difference between buhari and Atiku they are both power drunk I don't believe even 2015 was free and fair. I was just that a combination of factors made it possible for the incumbent then to be defeated. |

locodemy: While we are waiting for presidential result tomorrow, let's remember that Buhari has vowed not to congratulate anyone except himself.
What do you think is the meaning of this..........?
To me,Buhari will handover power to the military who will run an interim Govt and conduct a fresh election. Both Buhari and Atiku will not be the party candidiates again.
Pls let Nigerians pray this dream will not come to pass o though malaria is worrying me now.. You may be the only one thinking this way. Result of market trading today showed cautious optimism to me. |

I am afraid this market might not rally much even after the elections. Just like the way FX speculators did not get the anticipated Naira depreciation before the elections and many have now lost money. |
