Sharp people with info at their tips will make good cash this season....As for LUR, I dont know what pushed Law union upwards..any info on it? I don see wahala and abracadabra on Dangote Flour today oo. At about 10:15am the maximum price was put at N1.20. When I cheched a little after 10:30am the maximum price has been moved to N1.26. I had to reissue my order at N1.26. At the time there were about only 17m bids. Now 30m shares have been sold and my bid is yet to be filled. The thing don tire me. |

currentprice: Dangote eeenh,,,,,,, buying back a stake tigerbrand paid $200m 3 years ago for $1
It does not mean he bought it at $1. It means he bought it either at par value or at current book value, or some arrangement which allows the owners to walk away. |

locodemy: Imagine stocks like zenith bank to be on fuuuuuul offer even to closing meaning the losses continues tomorrow. All is not well o.This thing is heavily affecting the rich kwa.Except fuel scarcity, poor people dont know what economy means.infact they are the ones surviving now...........traders and farmers.stock brokers, bankers, civil servants are finding it difficult but those that has part time biz has no problem to this.
As an igbo man,i think biz is good as long as life is concern.school good kwa but I think in Zenith case must be some big investors exiting. May be end of year account closing or foreign investors leaving. In anyway it is good for us locals. If I can get Gtb below N15 my 100% gain sometime in 2016 is assured. |

stokfrick: Its so annoying and unfortunate that the natural interplay b/w demand and supply is not allowed to determine price on the NSE. How would u explain d fact DAT a stock which opened at 6.10, was bid up to 6.20, was last bought at 6.20 and was supposed to close at that price, instead of allowing it to close normally, the useless market makers for no reason brought it back to 6.10. I repeat, NSE is not ripe for genuine market making and as such the day it was introduced was the day NSE was killed. That's why u can hardly find any growth stocks on the NSE. Gone are those days when you could do so! Do you know how many units were sold at 6.20? May be they are not up to 50k. Also you need to check the price of the very last trade done on the stock and the number of units. |

myjoy084: Sir, they might have turn their back on him but they should realize that "One can't build a house on a foundation that had already rotten and tarnished in terms of the materials used"! This is applicable to Nigeria at the moment. There's a strong possibility that things will turn around for best as we approach 2016 by his grace. Remember, in business there is no permanent enemy but permanent interest! They are coming back for sure... I think angelo has other convictions behind his strong words against PMB government. Such convictions are not subject to reasoning and are not easily changeable. |

Chibuking81: A lot of people want to offload their FBNH, but nobody to help. By tomorrow the price will come down to 4.98. I observe that most of the offers are at higher prices. This may mean that people who want to take profits do not want to miss the chance when it get to their target prices by booking the trade early. Unfortunately this may make their target prices unattainable. |

myjoy084: I think banking stocks with strong and undiluted fundamentals is where to be right now. In all, there are many things to be hopeful for in these (NSE) market and concerning our economy as a whole. Let those Nigerian/foreign analysts/journalist keep bringing it on... Are you concerned about the likely effect of the reduced MPR on banks' profits? Some are saying it does not favor the banks, but may favor the industrial stocks that are the borrowers. That is why Dangcem reacted positively yesterday, and why GTB and Zenith are mainly negative. And as you know the CRR reduction will only benefit banks that give loans to certain sectors. So the money may not be available immediately. I know these are analysts at it again, but one has to keep an ear to them. |

myjoy084: Sir, i understand your points but how many banks do we have in Nigeria that are functioning presently? If the article or the writer's claim to what was writtenwas true, so the likes of Zenith, GTbank, Access, etc. are in distress then lol. I can't stop laughing with Nigerians reporter/journalist! Too much over-sabi...lol I think the mistake, which the CBN Gov. also tried to correct, is that reporters report stress tests as showing that a bank which fails the test is already under stress. The test is theoretical. It subjects the banks to some extreme conditions and see how they will fair under those conditions. It doesn't mean a bank is currently under stress. So the caption used by Sahara Reporters clearly gives the wrong impression. |
