What about eating food and washing it down with a bottle of one soft drink or the other. Many Nigerians carry this habit into their houses and you find people that can't eat without a bottle of 'orobo' coke. |
If I was a software developer, I'd probably have designed an app called 'Fuel Finder' for Nigerians. Thank God for NL Now that the Marketers have called off their strike, what's the fuel situation in your State/City? As at 6pm, most filling stations in Abuja were still not selling. Even the usual suspects in Wuse 2 ie NNPC & Total. But I hear some stations started selling in Suleja this evening. |
Publicity stunt or not the man has made a decision that makes him stand out, apart from the other saboteurs who think they can hold the whole country to ransom. |
Bunch of idiots! Why did you sit on the PIB for several years. These fools should get out of this life! They are so annoying! |
If this story is true, then it's really unfortunate. The workers however aren't totally helpless. They can and should go to court to enforce the promises made by the management of the bank. Why should you beg for something that belongs to you rightfully? The law will not force a willing employee on an unwilling employer and vice versa, but the law will ensure that they get their fair share plus interest in the event of delay. |
Anyone who chooses to work under such conditions can only hold himself or herself responsible. 25k a month with pressure for target? Why not spend quality time doing research and put a business plan together then use the same energy you use to look for target to look for investors? Na wah oh. What are our youth doing with their brains? |
Op has a valid point. Obviously there's more to the story than meets the eye. Waiting for GMB's probe on the military. |
Why not convene in June to give the incoming First Lady a chance to contest. You can set up a caretaker committee to handle the administration and election till then. GEJ dey set trap, Pej sef dey set trap. Na who no know go know. |

Nigerians wicked sha. Sound, times have changed bro! Artistes must learn to change with the times. |
Is this guy serious or what? 1.2 billion litres yet most filling stations can't sell to the public. Abi NNPC dey shack d fuel? What's the point of having so much fuel if you can't distribute? Probe is needed ASAP. |
Error |
No point trying. |
This game is unwinnable. |
All these jokers who bomb threads with statements like "APC should wave it's magic wand to fix Nigeria's issues" have tacitly agreed that PDP hasn't addressed the same issues. |
Mr. Bruce, I hope you will also take your own advice. Maybe with the austerity measures you too will wish you hadn't won your Senatorial election. As for the rest of your advice, if you had advised your 'friend' GEJ when the going was good, maybe he wouldn't have lost the election. The fact that you're advising the President-Elect shows that all was not well under the current administration. It also proves that you knew this but kept quiet for selfish reasons. |
NLC? TUC? Tufia! These jokers are only interested in lining their pockets. Nigerians are tired of NLC/TUC and their greedy leadership. Where is the subsidy if the thing is sold at N120/ltr in more than 29 states? This government should have beefed up internal capacity to refine that's how to allow market prices operate. It's not rocket science. That should be priority for the next administration. |
Well said. Point of correction though, the correct word for your 1st point is 'Gerontocracy' not Adultocracy. Op, I hope you're doing something about implementing your observations in your local church. |
There's nothing there. Have you ever heard that a church turned offering or tithe back because the money is from the salary from a beer company? |
For her mind she be 1st lady of Security in Nigeria. Walahi there are so many things to correct in the next dispensation. |
See cover-up. How can an agency that hasn't been created by law be in existence for over 4 years. Under Gej Nabda siphoned Government funds, they've been hiring and running contracts all over the place without enabling law. Gej has once again done a good thing for a bad reason. Congratulations. |
I don't get what the op is complaining about. The antenna is a uhf/vhf antenna this means it catches only terrestrial stations. It doesn't claim to be a satellite decoder. If they jobbed you then shame on you. |
Lagos should be your first stop. Alternatively, you can consider Ogun or Abia. If you're interested in Kannywood productions, then you can consider Kano. Lagos is the busiest state for entertainment and the arts. |
So we have assets but no cash. That means we're not broke? Are you an economist or a magician? |
something like that kwa. |
GEJ till 2019! |
Fun game. Doubt if it'll ever stop though. |
I just viewed the list. There's a difference between being an 'influential' person and being a 'useful' person. Patience Jonathan was influential. For eg, Obama wasn't listed this year. The full list can be viewed at: http://fortune.com/worlds-greatest-leaders |
WTH is this? Are you advertising leaked answers or what? Are you aware that cheating is a crime and is punishable by imprisonment? Some people are just funny. Don't you have any shame? |
InglishTeechar:Firstly Mr(s) Teecher, Wikipedia is not considered to be an authoritative source. You may wish to reconsider citing a wiki definition as primary source. Secondly, your forced definitions do not contemplate a scenario where the "person" is the architect of his own misfortune as you so rightly pointed out. He appointed Jega. He announced that he wouldn't interfere with the process (whether that is true or not is another issue). He cannot then claim to be a victim of the system that he created. There's no sacrifice or courage in that. Finally, the handwriting on the wall showed that he had lost the election. Why didn't he place the call earlier? Before Orubebe's tantrum? All these gimmicks are designed for the gullible and uninformed. He did the proper thing but there was already immense pressure from the international community on him to accept the results whatever the outcome. I won't waste any more effort on this topic. You can give a dog a bad name in order to hang it, or give a dog a good name in order to promote it, a dog will always be a dog. |
ibietela2:Your thinking is too biased to get the point. The issue isn't about PDP, APC or rigging. You don't call someone who okayed the large scale use of state resources for oppressing Nigerians a hero. FYI, Pdp won states in other regions including the North Central and South West. Please try to understand what people are trying to say before posting chirpy comments. |
