This prosperity gospel has wreaked havoc in Christianity. The tithe argument in Nigeria is championed by 2 broad categories. Those who argue that Pastors are unjustly enriching themselves and mismanaging money and those who argue that financial blessings aren't tied to tithing. Both schools of thought are focused on personal gain, which is not the true gospel. This is why the conversation devolves quickly to insults and personal attacks. For the record, I also disagree with Bishop on this topic but we need to move on. |
There is madness in this country oh! If the test consists of Primary 4 questions then the cut-off should be 85% with 15% allowance for grammatical or syntactic errors. What does a teacher who can't pass Pry 4 test have to offer. It doesn't mean they're bad people, it just means they're not competent. El-Rufai understands that if you fix education, you secure the future. Even the West has lost its way. The NUT's interest is the welfare of its members and not the welfare of the children otherwise they should have done their own house cleaning long ago. This is the problem with Unions in this country- they're only concerned with monetary benefits and not with ensuring quality control within the ranks. |
People sha... I'm not sure op understands the nuances in the church vs state argument. This is quite impressive although I feel this project would be more meaningful if provided as a social service. I'd like to know for example if the Camp supplies power to nearby communities and so forth. f the developments are restricted to the benefit of Camp residents then there's nothing special in the story. |
Therock5555:Nice story, but confirm first, the Summons is for what again? Also, what court is the suit filed? Those parts don't add up. |
Must this lady talk all the time? What a stupid response. All these dunderheads hired by PMB sef. Its really sad to think that there are so many qualified and intelligent young ladies out there. |
Rainmaker69:Bump |
irepnaija4eva:You're wrong. Eg is an abbreviation for the latin expression Exempli Gratia and means "for example". Ie is an abbreviation for the latin expression Id Est and means "that is" |

NwaAmaikpe:Nna me sef no understand. Hin use hin 2 hand type say he be mugu with ease. The story tire me pass pity. Dis kain guy go cast person wey wan help am join. |
An interesting list, no doubt, but I looked up a few of these words and they're not in any of my dictionaries. eg Overmorrow, Vagitus; while Agraffe has a significantly different meaning. Interesting post nonetheless. |

Lol. I know your problem. Now that you've been floored you now resort to default mode of base logic. I haven't started calling you names yet, and I won't sink to your level, even though you obviously stink at that too. I'm confident that the insight I provided into your mental and personal travails will prove useful to you or your psychiatrist sometime in the future. Sooner than later, I hope. |
Plasmbob1:Lol. I see your brain just started booting. "Voices in the heard", "...when your brain matter has found their purpose" You're still too slow. Stick to the lingerie business and leave the heavy lifting for more capable hands. Don't forget, you started this by shooting off point on a topic you obviously know nothing about. You should refrain from speaking from a place of ignorance, it never ends well. That's some free advice for you. Thank me later, once you're fully booted. PS: I wasn't insulting you "through what you sell", I was pointing out the obvious (and symbolic) fact that you reason at the level of female underwear. If you spent your time in Uni selling pant and bra and not studying or broadening your faculties then you have squandered your destiny my friend. |
Plasmbob1:Introduction Silly child. You didn't 'hear' me say anything. You read my comment (although it appears you lack the capacity to understand). Let me simplify my comment for your iq level: 1. Private drug tests are ILLEGAL when conducted without the consent of the subject. 2. It is a clear breach of the Fundamental Right to Privacy guaranteed by Section 37 of the 1999 Constitution. 3. The schools (or organizations) that insist on such practices require that subjects sign a consent or waiver form. 4. This means that only a prosecuting authority can mandate a test, and it has to be done in the course of prosecuting an offence. 5. You don't need to advertise your stupidity to the world, "accused"?? Where did you read that the Nigerian Police or NDLEA was involved? Or that anyone was charged for an offence? Conclusion You must be high on cheap substances. Get off your keyboard and go'an read your books. ^^^^^ The above still applies my dear. I've simplified it a little more to highlight the points, but it's obvious that you're either being deliberately dense or you are indeed quite dense. Either way, joining issues with you is futile. It's obvious that you think drug testing is the same thing as JAMB exam. This isn't about selling female undies, find a way to use your brain, so it doesn't expire on you. FYI, the scientists are right, all human beings have brains, some people -insert your real name here- are incapable of operating their brains. ![]() |

This may come from a good place but its a gross violation of privacy, when its done without consent. Only in Nigeria. |

You mean infant deaths have been linked to oil spills in ND. Don't mix up the cause with the effect. Start with the effect and state the cause. |
PMB has his own hustle, I respect that. But I lose respect for anyone who goes to exaggerated lengths to deify a boss. This is just pure mischief. Success sells itself... the fact that you need to launder PMB's image says enough of itself, Nigerians can be difficult but if you work, people will acknowledge it. This level of sycophancy is disgusting. |
Nothing like some beef and kpomo to boost music careers. Both the unknown and the long-forgotten will get 5 seconds of fame. |
Human beings fear what they don't understand. Not every unexplained occurrence is a result of occultic influence. The guy may deliver results or may have a strong competitive advantage. Just do your work and look for ways to improve yourself and your organization. |
Be very careful where you put your money. Confirm that they have a CBN license first. This is because CBN insists on minimum criterias for companies that offer financial services. For eg, the share capital must be enough to cover its debts if any arise and the company must have some form of insurance or risk prevention plan from NDIC or similar organization. If they crash tomorrow, the banks will deny them. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. |
Why do the Christians in the Religion section on quickly resort to insults, name-calling and abusive language on most threads? Its impossible to have a rational adult discussion on issues with all the distractions. I'm sure we can do much better. |
obailala:This your post mek my belle sweet... You hit the nail- Kpakam! On the spot. |
If a tv station could trace and locate him then shame on our security agencies. Its all a cover up. |
Joel Okoye for FCT... interesting. Truly Nigerian show. |
Why isn't Mr. Emeka Ugwuonye's picture up? I'm not sure people are aware that the man has been disbarred in the USA and in Nigeria. He was disbarred in Nigeria in 2016. This is a sad story, if its true. |
enilove:I did not mention or allude to the bible. I only queried the construction and meaning of the prayer. Please share your thoughts, if you have any. |
ruphytelecom:Bros, any chance you have the battery for HP Officejet 150 all-in-one |
felixomor:My brother, I think you didn't understand the point you intend to respond to. I think you took his statement out of context. The Levites-Tithe connection was made as per the commandment under the law which is the background for Malachi 3. |
I think this is a very valid point. We need to ask questions about some of these practices that we follow blindly. What does it really mean to cover something or someone in the blood? Is that a definite prayer? Is it clear? Does it address any specific situation? I think we should constructively engage in this conversation. |
