3RD TIME APPLICANT

1ST APPLICATION

self sponsored
Bank statement 19M

Refusal reasons
I have reviewed the application. the applicant is seeking to study in Canada. I am not satisfied that the applicants will leave Canada at the end of their stay as a temporary residence. I note that the client is single, mobile, is not well established and has no dependents. taking the applicants plan of studies into account D documentation provided in support of the applicants financial situation does not demonstrate the funds will be sufficient or available. I am not satisfied that the proposed studies would be a reasonable expense weighing the factors in this application I am not satisfied that the applicant will adhere to the terms and conditions imposed as a temporary residence. For this reason above I have refused this application.

They said funds provided are not commensurate to applicant income.
Transaction shows lump sum source of funds unknown. Concerns about funding.

I Paid just the initial $1,500 CAD for Conestoga

The decision to perform a medical or not solely depends on you. No one can make that decision for you. Also note that one thing i have noticed with canadian immigration is that what works for one might not work for the other. I stood to loose nothing. Is it not just mail? I got the documents and attached them, wrote them a mail and sent it. And it worked. So the choice is yours. Instead of waiting, it wont be a bad idea to do a medical, send it, send the exemption mail. Its free. Worst case, they will tell you that you are not eligible. They cant deny you for sending the mail. My thoughts though.
Adeneyo001:

Congrats bro. I have applied since May 1st and no update since then. I requested gcms note last month but I’ve not gotten it. While I am waiting for all that, is it possible I go ahead and do my medicals and submit upfront.

I wanted to send the Covid exemption email but I stopped since the instructions stated that it’s for before who submitted before April 9th. But ur own is also after April 9th just like mine. So my question is before I follow ur footstep and write the exemption email, do you advise that I do the medicals first and submit it??

It doesn't matter if you create a new account or old one. I used my own account. My friend created a new one and still got approved.
blcoolfemol:
Congrats ralfudoh.

Please did you use your profile on the gckey to apply for your family or you create a new gckey to apply for your family?

Ladies and gentlemen, its here. Just to lift the spirit of others. Its PPR

Applied July 9th
Biometrics request July 10th.
Biometrics done August 31st.
Upfront medicals done on same August 31st and sent via mail and webform on September 3rd, on September 4th, cic account updated to medical passed.
Since then no update. Sent a mail for covid-19 exemption as advised here.
Sent promotion letter with new salary at work place. Sent in updated/renewed study permit.
Boom, Nov 6th, BVL, Covid 19 exemption letter and PPR all dropped in 5mins interval.
Thanks to @Opemipo21 and my special buddy @hayqinsbFX, brother from another mother. We have known since our study permit days in 2015. We just chat to console ourselves. I also wish you a favorable and positive processing in your spouse's application.
Kindly note that i applied for gcms, both didnt show anything significant. Infact the last one came on thursday while PPR came on Friday.
Thanks to everyone.

Good morning house
I have a few questions
1.I have paid my fees of $38,800CAD in full and I have $43,558CAD available for my stay in canada, in the imm1295, what do I fill as room and board?, what do I feel under the ‘other’ column? and what do I feel under the funds available for my stay in Canda?

2.My mum is my sponsor but my dad also has properties a,should I mention it in my sop and put the scanned copies of his properties documents under client information to show home ties?

3. Should I mention the estimated value of the properties like for example the house is in lekki,so I could give it an estimated value based on how much houses are in lekki?

4.In the sponsorship letter by mum,Is she meant to state the cost/estimates of her properties?

@dommakaveli @justmellow @justwise @frankrobnn @mcobex @anybody
please help
Please what category of visa are you applying for? Last time I checked IMM1295 is for open work permit and not study permit. Study permit is IMM1294. Please make sure you are not making a mistake

Canadian Dollar is still within the region of 287 CAD to 320 CAD

Bank conversion rate is 401 as of yesterday. So please make sure you have sufficient money in your account (I.e 401 x 235 if you are a first time applicant and 150 x 401 if you are reapplying)

Validate. Make sure it brings the barcode, if it doesn't, cross check, the form isn't properly filled

Is a 3 years Diploma there...I want to combine university of Regina and College of North Atlantic- or is there any school i can apply for direct entry with my OND?
When you say combine, what do you mean please? Two schools at the same time?

You can check industrial control at new Brunswick community college and Nova Scotia community college.
You can equally use google to check for other colleges.

Doesn't matter. Just fill and validate. Once you get the barcode on the last page, you are good to go. If the form is outdated or has errors, it won't upload. From there you will know something is wrong.
Lekiboboe:

An Observation

A video tutorial I saw on IMM form filling, I saw something different in the heading which differs from mine (though av updated my Adobe Acrodat DC)

Mine showed The validity of the document certification is unknown. The author could not be verified

The video tutorial I watched, I saw this
Certified by IRCC etc....

Just want to know if means anything serious or there is nothing to worry about

Thanks.

You have to go through the questionnaire submission all over. Your answers are already saved, so you just have to be clicking next, next next till you get to the dashboard. Until you pay you application fee, anytime you log out and log in, it will take you to the questionnaire again. I hope this helps.
Lekiboboe:
Good morning to u all,
I have a challenge with my Online application

I have signed up for a GCKey on CIC and answered all the questionnaires, and I saw that dashboard showing were to upload necessary docs. including the IMM forms, so i have downloaded the IMM forms, So I logged out,

Later I logged in and try to get to that Application Dashboard (Showing the Upload Section), but I couldn't get it, its like its wanting to me start the Questionnaire av done bfor..

Before I logged out, i saw a notification, which says " Can I Save my application and return to complete it later ", If u select the EXIT button, ur information will be saved and u will return to ur account main page. You can continue ur application at any time by logging into your account and selecting the e application link under the In Progress section.

So I tried looking for that " e application link under In Progress Section " I couldn't find it.

I would appreciate if I can get a solution /directives to this issue..

NB: I haven't uploaded any document yet

Thanks..

What if its a 3yrs advanced diploma, first year is online, then 2 other years will be on campus. Or what if its a 2yrs PGC/PGD and you do the first year online and the second year on campus.
Will it still be a problem? I am just asking sha. What do I know?
oma22:

But it will not count for your PGWP.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by ralfudoh(m): 12:27pm On Jun 07, 2020
I agree with you. Its a very tricky situation. Mind you, the schools want your money and will be happy to allow you enroll and pay tuition fees and attend classes. CIC can still refuse you. Except if you are financially stable and willing to battle it out with IRCC with the help of an immigration lawyer. If not, egun gun has to be careful, cos na express you d go with your money.
Kaycevit:
Please be guided.. online study without atleast study permit approval will not have effect on the decisions of IRCC couple with the high study visa denial rate at the moment..let all be wise using this approach

Stop wasting your time. Someone who doesn't know CIC post about maintenance, how do you start arguing with such a person.
Rather he confidently said I should stop assuming.
oma22:

It was stated on their site that maintenance was ongoing.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by ralfudoh(m): 2:59pm On Jun 06, 2020
Abeg help me tell him. No one disputes his approval because as we all know, IRCC are unpredictable. A simple screen shot would lift the moral of prospective awaiting applicants. There is no harm. If everyone gets approval and leaves, how will others benefit. Share what you did different. Others will learn from it. The goal is for everyone to get the visa.
Someone said I am being negative. How on earth. I don't want others to get visa or what?
Phatkayconcept:

That young man was always here throughout the process of submission. But since the day he dropped the good news update, he hasn't make a single comment till date. Even if he won't uplaod a screenshot, he could at least lift the moral of the group with a comprehensive testimony.

We go all dey alright sha

There was maintenance on that day sir. Secondly I only proved to you that CIC always states maintenance on their site. That you didn't know. So relax.
Frank pointed it out that there was maintenance. You can argue that with him. Besides, I know several others that knew there was maintenance on that day. Dont come and argue blindly. I got most of my updates after maintenance. Not before. Take note
Kaycevit:
Check the date Chalva received his approval..there was no maintenance going on that day..don't just assume maintenance every Tuesday..CIC always update maintenance on their website whenever it arises probably on Tuesday..that does not mean every Tuesday is maintenance day.The first denial I got was on Tuesday

Lol. Oga, it was stated on CIC site. Always ask before you assume or speak.
Showing screenshot is optional but goes a long way in encouraging other applicants.
Kaycevit:
bro..how did u know that maintenance was ongoing that day when it was not stated on CIC website. Let us not always assume things here....Showing of screenshot should be a personal decision and may not be applicable here

But I think someone got approved in one week here. Frank asked for screen shot of it as we were all eager to see how it was done on a day maintenance was ongoing. But we never saw it. In overall, I dont think anyone has gotten feedback on study permit. PR applicants have been getting approval though.
