If you must know something about life....it is that everything is so transient.

Can anyone tell me at what level of riches would you be happy? At the level of one house,? Two houses, ? A car, fifty of them? 100 of them.

True happiness can never ever rely on what you have.......because you would always be envious of the person that has a little more.Because circumstances are always transient...never permanent. (Especially riches).

As a Christian, my happiness is (I hope) always in God. Or should I say...the fact that God, who created the earth, the planets, the galaxies, our known and unknown universe, and the universes....is always with me, regardless of my circumstances....encouraging me, caring for me,enabling me to be more like him, enabling me to love him more than every other thing.

And that is happiness.Makes everything else so worthless....doesn't it.

Wealth goes a long way in achieving that happiness.Can you honestly tell me that you have seen a poor man that is happy?

At the core of any anger/irritation/shock on my part, I surprise myself in that I actually tend to feel sorry for the guy. There is nothing they desire more than your reaction and interaction, so treat them like the plague. He can 'ride out' the fantasy for what it's worth - we both (more importantly, he knows) know the truth. And try not to be surprised when it comes knocking (or texting) for it is within the nature of a pestilence to arrive unannounced, unwanted, and strangely perturbed by its own act/being.

Move on. The wheels of life keep turning.

To me...happiness is the state of inner contentment...that is not dependent on your feelings, or your personal fortunes.

It has nothing to do with riches, or the absence thereof.

Last year I blasphemed the Holy Spirit in several different ways here on nairaland in order to get Christians to stop trying to save me. It didn't work because they kept telling me that whatever I did was not technically blasphemy and therefore I could still be saved. I could not win, no matter what I said about the Holy Spirit. When I asked what counted as blasphemy (so that I could do it ) they said they didn't really know.

They are offering 13% on over 500M pa for 90 days, but treasury bill at this moment guarantees at least 17% in 44 days of the 90 days and I am sure the bank wants to use the funds to trade TB which is the reason that want it fixed. I am sorry my brother, these trends get us all worried. You might wanna keep your mind in the non-banking sectors with time as banking job gives one no time for enterprise mindset.
