I wasn't born into any religion. I was only taught to be nice to people, say please and thank you, taught to keep my word, taught to believe in myself and strive to be the best I can be to myself and to other people amongst other things.

Sin originated from the devil, the devil was created by god who created sin within the devil which he knew the devil will eventually use to taunt man. Afterall, god created women with beautiful bodies, big boobs and yansh knowing fully well it would tempt us. He created gold and other finer things knowing fully well that we would crave for it. He created alcohol knowing it would make us drunk. He created weed and tobacco knowing it would make us high and increase the likelyhood of us dying from cancer. He made sex pleasurable and even created us with an unsatiable craving towards it.

Brother, god created sin. The devil is only his excuse(or theists excuse) for sin. If the devil is really guilty, and has been since man's creation, why hasn't god done anything about it? Why burden his creation with temptation, suffering, lack, want and the constant need to resist the devil after all these years?

I really want to read that guy's response to this.

The way I handle them, I don't argue doctrines or bible stories. Once I make you to agree with me on the basic tenets of the teachings of Christ which is Love. We have no further issues.

It is surprising when someone looks terrified that someone doesn't believe in God or Christ yet the same person does not even understand not to talk of living by the teachings and principles of what he claims to believe

On a more serious note....Obama did not legalize gay marriage.

What happened was that some years ago, two gay men who lived in the US state of Ohio(which at the time did not recognize gay marriage)...got married in the State of Maryland (which did).

When one of the men died back home in Ohio...his husband applied to be listed on the death certificate as his spouse.

The State refused...hence Oberfegell vs Kasich. (Oberfegell is the husband of the dead man, Kasich is the governor of Ohio State).

The Supreme Court...in a majority decision...found that the American Constitution's intent is to provide every American with dignity...hence if gay marriage helped provide that dignity.....then gay marriage is legal under the Constitution.(That is a rough way of looking at it.A nearly similar decision was made in 1973 by the then Supremes legalizing abortion....Roe vs Wade.).

Hence...gay marriage is now legal. Obama did nothing(though he obviously is not opposed). If he was opposed...there is nothing he can do...save propose an amendment to the Constitution making gay marriage illegal.....which is a long and complex process...and which may not succeed.

I am tired of telling people this thing.
