The noose will get tighter and we shall soon see if Thumble-wall/Tambuwall was involved in all of this |
AjanleKoko: Nigerians are so low-tech.Hey please dont insult Farouk,he is not a nucca,he is a correct aboki |
nairawall: Whoa, this is so so hilarious. Nigerians are a fun people to be with no matter their level.Very funny Wetin you sabi.Small pikin n wey no know medicine.na him dey call am vegetable FYI,Farouk is a political orphan,he can be hung out to dry and "dry well well",and nothing will happen. So many people within certain circles really dont care whether Farouk exists or not. There's a bigger aim and destination in all of this. That's it,I wont say more than that |
jmaine: If this is real . . .Then Farouk was really desperate to expose Otedola bribery attempt ![]() The amazing FaCrook I'm really hoping I'll get s sneak peek soon |
scribble: God gave u a brain. Let us thank him. However your statement on Otedola being strictly a diesel importer is FALSE. Otedola owns Africa Petroleum/Forte Oil. The company was indicted in the subsidy report for claiming subsidy that cannot be verified, counter-tripping and diversion of petrol to other countries amongst other things.Which report I hope you are not referring to a report that emerged through a fraudulent process and from a very fraudulent committee![]() Otedola owns Forte Oil,but does Forte oil sell petrol/pms,the product for which subsidy monies were collected ![]() If you want to probe Otedola on his diesel dealings or Jet A1(which is what Fort Oil is into),good and fine, but how did the name of a diesel company and that of a Jet A1 marketing company end up in a list meant for those that market fuel/pms and so collected fuel subsidy money. Is Farouk now the CBN that has to he investigate comapanies for forex round tripping? Let the CBN and EFCC investigate the $400 million forex Otedola bought and see if he round-tripped with it |
hrmmhrmmm I'll pass on this |
Nice. At least let Zaria get some competetion, first Ilorin, now Enugu Nice |
The whole media sphere has been awash with revelations and counter revelations of how much bribe money 'Hon' Farouk Lawan demanded and collected from Femi Otedola. However due to the allegation by Mr Otedola that Farouk Lawan repeatedly told him that other marketers were 'playing ball',aka they were already paying up,there's a bigger question to be asked. Now if a marketer that imports diesel,a product that is not subsidised could be asked by Farouk to pay a bribe of $3 million dollars, how much did he ask the other three bigger firms, who actually import pms and who were initially heavilly fingered in the subsidy fund loot but whose names were eventually erased from Farouk Lawan subsidy report? How much did they pay him?$5 million dollars each? I've heard something like that in some quarters, but nothing is verified yet. So nairalanders, has anyone seen a link to the total sum Farouk collected, cos if its $5 million dollars as being alleged, that would give $15million from the three marketers. So much for integrity group. Some more Nigerians now know better |
Mtchewwwww to the thousandth order Na only REDiculous, what of BLUEiculous? |
Jeboy: ThankGod you know better now, cos many atimes we argue here blindly and even with abusive words about things we are either ignorant about, politicised about or divided along ethnic or religious divide.Until we begin to see things objectively,we shouldn't even talking about corrupt leaders cos we would do worse.Etteh was removed for a no just cause compared to What Bankole and Farouk did cos she had not even implemented d monet she was accused of.My candid advice to NL, contribute like intellects, don't just rush into typing and calling people retardeen, useless etc without point and analysis because we re biased. Many of us have made other people see Nigeria as people with low level IQPoor Etteh This same roguish and criminal Farouk Lawan championed her ouster,Im sure its because the woman refused to dance to some of his corrupt tunes |
Let me do the honours; ***clears throat**** Ladies and Gentlemen, the chief of the rogues and armed robbers in the NASS is Farouk Lawan |
I thot he(otedola) once stated dat lawan collected $620 in 3 different instalments? He said Farouk collected $500k himself, while he sent his committee deputy to collect the balance $120K |
Has he not been immortalised already, what did he even do for Nigeria(let no semi-ignorant student of history come spewing bunkum about June 12)that requires he be immortalised more than he has already been. Maybe a resolution should be passed in the upper and lower arms of NASS and sent to President Jonathan to rename Nigeria MKO ABIOLALAND. The irony of the whole thing is that most of the people making a public show of these senseless calls actually loathe the man in their hearts |
djustice: Kai...Nigerian Police and their lies!! Taking credit for what they didn't do. If the poor guy had not been sharp enough he would still be in the kidnapper's clutches. They could even negotiate with the kidnappers sef, for a cut in the ransome...na wa for Nigeria o!!1You guys should give the police some credit on this.Go back to Obodos explanation and decode that HE WOULD NOT HAVE ESCAPED if not for the police. Who covered the whole state, who was monitoring the roads and creeks thereby putting the kidnappers under siege, who was monitoring their calls and using it to close in on them that forced them to move from the forest to open town, who made a fake call to the kidnappers that the ransom was ready for which 5 of them left and left obodo with just one of them, from whom he was able to escape later. Before his escape, who arrested three of the kidnappers that had gone to pick the ransom money,I can go on and on and on.# I know the NPF could be dissappointing in most cases, but on this occasion, they were VERY instrumental to Obodos escape. Give the devil his due and lets move on |
Oh shut up Ayatollah Buhari,we quite understood what you said about 2015,dont try to fool anybody, well maybe your CPC sympathetic fellows |
Meanwhile, a former member of the House of Representatives, Dino Melaye, yesterday accused Lawan of commercialising his conscience. He cited the role played by Lawan as the leader of the Integrity Group in the Patricia Etteh saga, saying such a person cannot be serious in the fight against corruption. Speaking on African Independent Television (AIT), Melaye said: “He has commercialised his conscience. The same Farouk Lawal, if you follow the statistics, I moved against corruption in the House, he was in the forefront of fighting corruption. When the issue of Etteh (former Speaker) came up, Lawan came up with the Integrity Group and there was nothing they didn't do to fight and remove Etteh when the woman did not even spend the money alleged. You know that recently, I questioned the integrity of Farouk Lawal and why some major marketers' names were missing from the list as presented by the Lawal Committee. How much damage does this do to the National Assembly? “In this government, there is a complete failure. Corruption is being massaged, promoted and encouraged by everybody, in the executive and the legislature. The Federal Government is yet to fight corruption”. Otedola, told a national newspaper how Lawan and Emenalo had collected $620,000 from him in a 'sting operation' masterminded by security agencies. The amount was part payment for the $3 million, which he alleged Lawan had demanded from him to exonerate Zenon Oil from the ad-hoc committee’s report. Security agents, he disclosed, gave him serialised dollar bills for the sting job and there are call logs, video and audio recordings in the possession of the agencies to confirm all that transpired between him and Lawan. Otedola said on April 21, the Saturday before the plenary, Lawan came in person to his residence and collected $250,000 in cash, as the first instalment, “then the next Monday night, he came and collected another $250,000. “On Tuesday at 9 a.m., just before the House commenced sitting, Boniface came and collected another $120,000.” During the sting, Lawan and Boniface collected a total of $620,000 in three instalments as part of the $3 million demanded from him. http://www.compassnewspaper.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4389:620000-scam-otedolas-expose-raises-dust-in-reps&catid=35:headlines |
High_Chief: Who is MKO Abiola again? Is he the bad man that was betrayed by his kinsmen? Oh the ITT culprit? The horn.y devil that was sleeping with peoples' wives? Abiola is one of the worst things that happened to Nigeria. The only good thing Abacha did was incacerating him, and was later eliminated thou with the help of his kinsmen.Ouch, what a way to put it You have very serious points there though |
This crime is more rampant in Nigeria today than most people imagine. My wife was flipping through the pages of a newsmagazine some years ago and saw a photo profile of the management of a top multinational and someone that grew up in her estate that went to a polytechnic at that time, wrote in her profile that she attended a University at that time and graduated from the University at the same time she was supoosed to be in the polytechnic. You tell me where she got the university certificate she used to fool that organisation. Ever heard of Oluwole of old and Otigba of recent ![]() |
So sad |
Prior to the June 12 elections, what exactly did MKO Abiola do to ensure the restoration of democracy in Nigeria. As I recall,he was busy cavorting with the IBBs,Abachas etc of this world, either financing their coups against democratically elected or military governments or indeed seeking their word in private that if the elections were conducted that they(IBB AND CO)would leave the stage and allow whoever won to assume office. The other thing was that after the election, which he won,he fought hard to be sworn in as president, however I cannot distinguish what portion of that fight was driven by his love for Nigeria and democracy and what portion was driven by his personal ambition to be president |
Before now,it was"I DIDNT COLLECT ANY MONEY FROM OTEDOLA OR ASNY OTHER OIL MARKETER",now it is"THOUGH I COLLECTED US$500,000.00 FROM OTEDOLA,I INTENDED TO USE IT AND EXPOSE HIM" Yeah right, bloody criminal, little wonder Obasanjo said they were rogues and armed robbers in the national assembly. Farouk Lawan is one of those rogues and robbers, anybody that is confused as to whose story to believe should listen to Dino Melaye who affirms that Farouk Lawan is a rogue.Recall that when the subsidy investigation started, the three biggest oil marketing culprits they initially mentioned ended up having their names erased from the Farouk Lawan final report(The FG knew something was fishy and even had details, since its agents were involved in the sting operation against Farouk),this is the reason they considered the Farouk Lawan report as not worth the ink with which it was written. |
Let's go CELTICS |
Wooooshh This thread is so replete with VERY IGNORANT POSTS driven largely by hatred/envy/jealousy of Mrs Jonathan ===Excuse me==== |
e9teen:Your friend is an insensitive LIAR and you my friend are very naive to have believed such bunkum,in any case go right here; https://www.nairaland.com/956574/airspace-not-shut-down-first |
downdraft: As a Captain we sometimes have to fly a plane that has a small problem. This is allowed by Laws or rules of flight as long as it is in the MEL (minimum Equipment List) and if the Captain deems it safe. When I fly, I am responible for 275 lives. we must deem it safe or we do not fly. Because I am white doesnt matter, if i am Nigerian that is fine too. All professional pilots have likewise skills related to flight hours. The more hours and experience pilots have adds to their skill in case of an emergency. I have no problem sitting down on a Nigerian Aircraft, with Nigerian pilots as long as the airlines has a good safety record. Thanks a lot for the enlightenment. As you said you knew captain Waxtan personally,I'll say sorry for your loss. At least all those ignorant people who were saying the pilot was told the aircraft wasnt okay, then he said he'd fly it anyway now know that no pilot wants to risk their lives and those of their passengers |
fm7070: I suspect that there was a serious problem with the engine and the pilot was trying to land on open field and one of the wings was held back by a mango tree. And you think there's an open field within that vicinity? The closest biggest open fields near the crash site are a bit further away in ogba and the aircraft could not make it that far. In any case,no one knows what happened, apart from the fact we now know that the pilots reported engine failure, but I hope the fear some experts have expressed about fuel contamination that may have led to dual egine failure is not true, cos that would mean more aircraft being fuelled by the same company may still be at risk |
Even if I doubt the sincerity of Mr Nnorom,I think his allegations should be thoroughly investigated,if found true, then Air Nigeria should be sanctioned,if found otherwise, then Mr Nnorom should be jailed and his lips glued with super glue. On another note, there needs to be a huge shake up in NCAA,they are the ones who send their engrs and pilots on check-rides with airlines to inspect any aircraft they intend bringing in,so for a company(DANA)that started operations some 4 years ago,who went on the inspection to certify the MD83 airplanes that are nearly 30yrs old, when the cut-off age is 22 years ? |
So many of you would NEVER stomach half of what Sylva said, planned to do and did against GEJ. I say its about time |
This is the height of insensitivity, whilst the whole nation is mourning the tragic loss of our fellow human beings that perished in that plane crash, even Atiku had the good sense to send this condolence message,Buhari is looking for cheap political publicity to resurrect his dead public image. Well what do you expect from Ayatollah Buhari that sent his goons to go and kill people in Bauchi on the same day Shame on you Buhari. You will NEVER rule Nigeria again, and I hope you die from the heartbeak of that dissappointment |
