In the end, it's either Jonathan was completely useless and a sorry excuse of a President or he was neck-deep into this arms purchase scam.

If you observe the timeline of the disbursements, its completely reasonable and logical to suggest that the arms scam formed a significant part of GEJ's re-election campaign funds.

It will get to him. I am aware of the scope of the probe and its almost impossible that the $9.3 million dollars seized and returned by SA, allegedly for arms purchases under the NSA's orders, will not come under scrutiny.

The PDP can call this a witch-hunt all they like...these people are being caught to answer who they were bewitching, and why.

This arms scandal is netting some medium sized fishes so far...Dokpesi, Bafarawa, Dasuki.

We are waiting patiently for the BIG FISHES like the ex-Service Chiefs, Obanikoro's and Ebele Jonathan's role in the scam.

Already GEJ and Dasuki are contradicting themselves on whether approval was given for the $2.1B or not.

No wonder the man insisted he wanted a public trial instead of going down alone. E don set.

If you can't look around to hold anything he has done, then he is not working and presently, he is a big failure.

Jonathan failed to deliver the 2nd Niger Bridge to the SE, failed to develop or clean up his own SS and marginalized the SW which he disregarded till the elections.

Jonathan failed the North, and shot himself in the foot by establishing almajiri schools, when the almajiri system is an ideology (twisted) and not a result of lack of public schools. He failed to develop its solid mineral potentials and empowered thugs to insult the region instead.

Jonathan failed to solve the electricity problem which we have inherited, and failed to restore the refineries and instead wasted billions of dollars in scam off-shore processing agreements which Diezani and co. used to fleece this country, ultimately causing perennial fuel scarcities all through his tenure. The aftermath is what we live with today.

Jonathan failed to diversify our economy from oil in the time of oil-price boom, and emptied our foreign reserves through a combination of corruption and incapacity to lead which ended in him being tricked by his governors to share the SWF. The DIRECT aftermath of these are the economic troubles we are facing today under low oil prices, and high exchange rates which our efforts to control is resulting in our ejection from bond indexes.

Jonathan supervised the looting and mismanagement of of the defence budget through his aides (Dasuki n co.) which seriously hampered the fight against BH, and resulted in the loss of thousands of lives. The failure to fight the terrorists with political will and sincerity, resulted in their blossoming and is the reason we are still fighting them today.

You see, while we are not blind to the realities that face us today, its is an insult to conscience, logic and common sense for the same set of people that wanted all of the above and more to continue till 2019, to come and pontificate about good governance while condemning a President that inherited these challenges just six months ago.

Put simply, you lack the moral capital to admonish or condemn Buhari or Buharists.

In the military, tribunals are set up for erring officers and not courts.

The issue is, as a patriotic Nigerian, why your main concern is more about where the accused generals will be prosecuted and not about the crimes they have been indicted for, and the billions of dollars of your commonwealth that was mismanaged, leading to the loss of thousands of lives.

Finally, the overweight goats are being caught and caged, to the relief of our dear yams.

What does it cost people to simply think? No country conducts a state reception for each president that visits as a participant to such gatherings as the climate change conference (over 150 HOG's). Apart from being utterly wasteful, it's a logistical nightmare. We didn't do it either for each president when we hosted CHOGM a few years ago.

Wailers need to understand that GEJ's defeat is frozen in history and nothing done against this government will ever bring him back.

Dasuki is being investigated for other financial excesses and refused to accept an invitation to clear himself, hence in the interest of the thousands of BH victims, all Nigerians and as a tribute to our national treasury, Dasuki was completely blocked from escaping this country like Lamorde has already done.

Long and short of it: Dasuki presents a serious flight risk that the FG is unwilling to take.

Are you telling me by current Nigerian law, If Shekau is able to squeeze out a court order after we finally succeed in capturing him, he would be allowed to fly to Syria to cure his cough?

My analogy using Shekau is no co-inicidence, because a sponsor is more lethal than an an executor in many cases. Thats why we have seen a dozen BH leaders but have been able to identify only one potential sponsor (Dasuki) after 7 years of searching.

I bet you did not realize incriminating documents would have been collected during the raids on the ex-NSA's houses that you condemned passionately, which would have informed the revelations we are now collectively condemning.

Regardless, I'm glad Nigerians are setting partisanship aside to fight this very powerful common enemy. Already his personal network of arms dealers and defence contractors are shivering and sponsoring panicky press releases from Washington.

What utter rubbish? Dasuki is being investigated for earth-shattering allegations of fraud leading to the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives, displacement of millions and sponsoring terrorism, yet these 'Washington' hacks are screaming human rights?

The fact remains that the probe panel's interim report has indicted Dasuki and he has deliberately refused to appear before it, prompting the order for his arrest. The fact that Jonathan has even denied Dasuki's defense that the President approved all the extra-budgetary spending, strips any iota of doubt about his possible complicity.

What else do we expect from the people who groomed ISIS in the first place? Dasuki has promised to throw everyone under the bus and suddenly Washington is shivering.

This is more about justice for the thousands killed through Dasuki's extreme wickedness and corruption, not about political or any other sentiments.
