To be honest with you, Dasuki is too valuable (terrorism and corruption intel) and globally connected to be given the benefit of doubt.
He carries a serious flight risk and some things are too sensitive to be divulged to the public which is why the DSS currently look like the bad guys.
Forget partisanship, I'm fully in support of his arrest in our national interest. He should expect this based on the sensitive position he held and the grave allegations against him.
signz: This is bad. No matter which political divide we belong to and we all should condemn it.
This is blatant disregard for the rule of law. Is there something else we don't know. GMB is taking us back to 1999-2007 era.
All I hear are the rants of a pained man still in shock of his sudden irrelevance. Ebora Owu, like Ameachi, will be the main actors in many PDP members nightmares.
Regarding emissaries...is Adebanjo more experienced than Obasanjo?
HATERS - Having Anger Towards Anyone Reaching Success.
The contractual agreement has to be reviewed because those charges do not seem fair to Nigerians. I would also advice the FG to start quietly incubating her own proprietary system using consultants because these shylock taxmasters will not give up.
These hawks know their importance to the system and will continue to blackmail at every turn unless they're made to know they're not indispensable.
This is a worldwide problem and not a northern problem.
The NDLEA has been fighting this scourge (though it should do more) and I was part of a NAFDAC campaign specifically against this during my service year in markets/parks in Abuja.
Even if its less deadly than alcoholism with regard to road accidents and death, it should stop being seen as a safer (and religiously compliant) substitute because it's long term effects also bring serious health challenges to the user. It is highly addictive and causes withdrawal symptoms when users attempt to stop. It's also associated with memory loss and appetite problems.
The abuse was popularized by Lil Wayne, Eazy E, and now most southern US hip hop acts. Google 'sizzurp' to learn more.
The whole world knows Atiku is the majority shareholder in intels, yet his name does not even appear in the list of shareholders. So, where are his shares if it is not embedded in the shroud of 'foreign investors.'
I work in this environment - I know how these things are done
Explain the logic behind ignoring foreigners that own 50% of Intels (controlling majority share) carting the proceeds of the deltans resources to far away Italy, only to face fellow Nigerians with a 20% shareholding in the company because you don't like their names.
Yet you pretend to care for the SS. Your insincerity is blinding.
DeLaRue: If I was a SSner, I would be absolutely furious by this shadowy and crazy deal designed and executed by a small group of northerners.
Diezani should have quietly enjoyed the empathy she was receiving from Nigerians with the release of snaps from her allegedly stage managed dracula photo shoot.
Instead she decided to re-open old wounds by throwing petty shade at the former CBN Governor and current Emir of Kano, who has now lashed back with royal precision, with substance and genuine posers. A soothsayer is not needed to tell that Diezani's investigation and prosecution will be catalyzed by this press release.
Our prison health facilities urgently need to be upgraded to support cancer patients. Justice must be done.
Just imagine the unbridled deception and sickening self hatred these lying biafraudans are displaying on this thread.
The Italians are running the ports and smiling to the bank, but as the myopic lot have seen that northerners are part of the board, it matters less that they're being raped because their molester is white? This is Stockholm syndrome redefined.
Thankfully, the SS people, the target of this propaganda, can clearly see right through this web of lies.
All in due time....combined with optimized and mechanized agriculture, the northern region would be the newest cash cow in the country. This is another reason why the terrorists must be dislodged asap.
EdCure: A mere condemnation is enough to make members of affected communities "shtu up" and loose guard to give you more time to launch another attack? And you couldnt figure out with your miniscule brain that this so-called condemnation is yet another smokescreen meant to deflect attention?
You sound less equivocal in your support for your co-barbarians.
What exactly bothers you? Would you have preferred no apology?
Eziachi: In one breath you rightly condemned FFK for stereotyping the whole Fulani nation and in another breath you came with your own version of stereotypes against the entire herdsmen as murderous, blood sucking, barbaric and criminals. Unless there is an individual known as Fulani herdsmen? Nigeria! What a wonderful country and people.
In all my posts i referred to the criminal elements amongst them, It would unfair to conclude I labelled the entire herdsmen.
The Miyetti Allah and Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, the umbrella body for Fulani herdsmen, has condemned the recent kidnap of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Olu Falae.
At a peace meeting in Iseyin with Fulani herdsmen and farmers over the incessant clash, the association's Secretary, Alhaji Baba Usman Ngelzarma, said the forum was designed to sensitise and educate his people on the need to co-habit peacefully with their hosts.
He said, "Olu Falae's case saddens us; we don't know the kidnappers but the statement raised tension and created fear. That is why we are here to create an atmosphere of peace among our members in Nigeria.
"Our members should avoid problems in order to live in harmony with their host communities in the South-Western zone", Ngelzarma said.
The association, therefore, warned that any Fulani found wanting should be arrested and punished. Ngelzarma thanked the Aseyin of Iseyin land, Oba Abdul Ganiyu Adekunle for his love and care for the Fulani in his domain.
He hinted of the association's resolve to visit all the South-Western states to promote peace between Fulani herdsmen and the people of the region.
The Aseyin was represented at the meeting by High Chief Ismail Omotosho and Mr Idowu Oladoja.
PenSniper: Trash and arrant nonsense from a demented soul. The fulani herdsmen' activities have been with us for years and none of the so-called fulani leaders ever condemned them or took action to put an end to it. Silence means acquiescence. Reign in your hordes or action will be taken against them. Your threat on legal action is empty noise. SW is not MB that takes nonsense. For your information, FFK is the spokesman of many southerners on this issue..
You don't have to resort to insults when you lack points.
I'm surprised my Yoruba brethren cannot see through this wool FFK and his cohorts are pulling over their eyes.
The North-SW alliance is unbeatable and the PDP know it.
Cc: passingshot
otr1: I'm with Femi on this. I would cease supporting Buhari if that's what it takes to stop this Herdsmen Bulshiit. Yoruba race comes first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh..., then all other things. Let Miyeti or what are they called, apologize for the crimes committed by their brothers first, then we can talk. I'll personally find and kill FFK if he ever apologize to these idiots.
Glare247: . D heardsmen of a guys is not reasonable at all,we all need to condemn d act of d fulani heardsmen, but d point is FFK guffed were he generalised a whole race to be tsetse fly,no tribe are saint,we need to condemed it in totality as well
modath: @rawani, Thank you, I'm great & believe you are too..
You'll notice it's the same thing that I'm po siting, the main job of miyetti Allah here is about letting them know the LIMITS of their RIGHTS.. People's livelihood & labour is not fair game, neither is endangering people!!
A Fulani man is never a slave (rawani means crown), I'm not being arrogant it's just a fact.
Regardless, my respect for all tribes including the Yoruba is firm as I have been opportuned to deal with the best of them.
MayorofLagos: You are a slave! Were you a farmer, I can visualize you scared and on your belly begging fulani to take all your crops and feed to his animals.
All this grammar just to show you are above yourself in civility and social cues. So Aliko Dangote is untouchable and cannot be disparaged by the broad stroke of the tsetse fly remark but Falae is dispensable and its ok for fulani herdsmen to humiliate him?
If you had brains you would have been able to comprehend the post.
Even I condemned the bloody killers, FFK'S offense is in insulting the entire Fulani including the hardworking innocent Fulani's...is he mad? He has been warned, and he's no stranger to the courts, neither is he wise so he is bound to reap his seeds of hatred and bigotry.
mykel231: Rawani,FFK has the right to express his feelings with any adjective he wishes to qualify a "noun".I wish you could say tne same thing if your father was a victim of Fulani herdsmen kidnapp. If you had brains, you would know that FFK has nothing to appologize for.
But be that as it may, I don't think anyone hates their nomadic rovings as much as I do, I have had near misses on numerous occassions with them..
I've lived in this place for going on 2 decades now & also served in the far north so I see their destructive tendencies on a regular basis!!!
Imagine you being on 120+ & feeling cool nodding along to your music & just looking up to see a cattle drive in the middle of Airport rd EXPRESSWAY...
You think you are secured in an estate & see them driving cattles in your neighbourhood!!
Unfortunately that blasted constitution that gives unfettered freedom of movement ommitted "THE NUISANCE" clause (Fashola 2015)
However I attack issues & not personalities & know it is only true federalism that can solve this problem...
They leave their own farmlands & farmmers alone & bring their desructive selves to the NC & the south cos their culture & religion supports a nomadic lifestyle without putting into consideration that the others' don't have such...
They need to understand their rights stops where others begin....
The Fulani herdsmen have been a nuisance to everyone including we the stationary Fulani's for ages, (I can relate perfectly with those cruise-killing hordes of cows) especially as their grazing practice has not evolved with the times, however it's not acceptable to attack the entire Fulani race as a resort (especially as it's clearly a PDP agenda).
Miyetti Allah needs to take responsibility and guide her members accordingly. I trust you're doing fine.
There are no such things as 'Fulani attacks'. What we experience are attacks by some blood sucking Fulani herdsmen. I hope you're not deliberately pretending to be obstinate.
EUROBOMBER: Why are you trying to deny the degree and coordination of these Fulani attacks?
Ahmadu Bello of blessed memory was a regional leader, not a national leader and as such his statements were strictly in northern interest.
This does not however take away the callousness of the statement, and cannot be logically extrapolated to suggest co-ordinated attacks half a century later in a modern democracy.
EUROBOMBER: Statement below made by the late Ahmadu Bello makes us believe the coordinated Fulani attacks is by design
”The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grand father, Othman Danfodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities in the North as willing tools and the South as conquered territories and never allow them to rule over us or have control over their future.” (Sir Ahmadu Bello October 12, 1960)
EUROBOMBER: What I am telling you is that the attacks being carried out by the Fulani herdsmen seems to be by design and cannot just be described as 'criminal activities.'
How do we describe the massive and coordinated attacks going on in the MB by the Fulanis where entire villages and communities are wiped out
How does it 'seem' to be by design?
For the umpteenth time, the point is not that the herdsmen's criminal activities are not barbaric, animalistic and condemnable, but such attacks should not be at the entire Fulani people like you seem bent on doing.
