Politics / Re: Aba Is The First City In Nigeria To Have A Mayor In Modern Times by Ray333(m): 10:26pm On Oct 19, 2023
Well in Kaduna Elrufa'i created something like mayor s for the three major cities of Kaduna, Kafanchan and Zaria.
Administrators were appointed but unofficially called "mayors" of Kaduna capital authority, Kafanchan municipal authority, and Zaria Metropolitan authority.
Their functions were clearly stated and the state house of assembly made the enabling laws for their existence.
While Kaduna "mayor" oversees Kaduna town encompassing 4 local govts of Chikun, Kaduna North , Kaduna south, Igabi
Zaria oversees Zaria, Sabon gari, Soba and Giwa (I think)
Kafanchan on the other hand oversees Jema'a, Kaura, Zangon Kataf respectively.
So if the unofficial mayor term is followed, I would argue that Kaduna was the first to go that route, but since they are called administrators rather than mayors; we leave that argument to hold water.
But basically their functions are the same.

NYSC / Re: How Is Life In Kaduna? by Ray333(m): 8:42pm On Aug 14, 2023
The way some of you sit far away and write things one would assume no moving thing exists in Kaduna.
I was born and bred in Kafanchan the capital of southern Kaduna.
Left there to Kaduna city 5 years ago and have been living here with no worries at all.
Average standard of living, cheap food, so long as it's the north I would stay it has to be Kaduna no no other place.
I know as a youth corper you won't be posted to rural areas with insecurity highest it's Kafanchan, Zaria or Kaduna town.
Forget naysayers and listen to your guts.
I heard worst about Borno but when I visited twas lovely city as if it's no longer the BH enclave anymore

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Unites Both Christians & Muslims In His Southern Kaduna Visit (Pics) by Ray333(m): 8:36pm On Jan 21, 2023
Mtcheeew oga Throneroom trust ministry is a prayer ministry which helps both Muslims and Christians, they have a hospital (Salem medical center) and this their auditorium is used most times for most southern Kaduna consultations
Atiku used same place too when he came visiting and both Muslims and Christians were present.

Politics / Re: Why Peter Obi Decided To Campaign Specially In KAFANCHAN. by Ray333(m): 8:18pm On Jan 21, 2023
Don't deceive yourself, the region has always been a traditional PDP zone but recently the APC have made inroads there from results of the last local govt elections.
Before you even believe such, ask yourself how many polling units the entire region has compared to the northern part, the votes from north and central will counter all the ones coming from SK.
As it even stands now, no party can successfully claim to have the region on lockdown .
PDP and LP will do well and APC will also have their fair share.
That is a certainty.
Don't ask me how I know because I am from there and have seen the reality in ground.
And don't forget Atiku also came here specially to consult with the region and commiserate with them over the losses.
So it's a scramble for every one.

The tweet is actually funny where you wan see 2M votes give Obi naso Una dey deceive am ba?
How many polling units do we have in SK LGs when they have be skewed to favour the northern part.
Funny people, I assure you Southern Kaduna will share votes among the 3 major parties with PDP and LP getting the larger chunk then the rest for APC better tell him the truth.
Politics / Re: Expel Me, See If You Will Survive – Wike Dares PDP by Ray333(m): 10:35pm On Dec 30, 2022
duality:

The thing was that Atiku was prevailed upon by majority of the PDP governors at that time to run in 2003.
He rather preferred to get a commitment from Obj to hand over to him in 2007 rather than running against him.
OBJ knelt out of desperation for Atiku to back off, because he knew Atiku had most governors behind him and would win if he had contested against him, so Atiku eventually convinced same governors pushing him that he won't contest against his boss until 2007 he would run.
After that election what did Obj do he frustrated Atiku by drawing boys whom Atiku brought to power(Elrufai, Ribadu and co) very close in order to spite him.
At some point Elrufai became the defacto VP all just to demystify Atiku.
Later the issue of 3rd term came up and same Atiku in conjunction with Nnamani led senate stopped it from passing cos he had more loyalty than Obj.
Obj felt slighted again.
I bet you if Atiku really stole money Obj would have had his head. But till date he only made accusations.
So check and see who was first betrayed.
Wike is saying half truth and he won't be making such noise if he had been picked as VP, he should be careful if Atiku wins this election, things might be hot for him

You mean this is true?

Haba Atiku!!!!

Where's that Anenih's son
Politics / Re: Real Reason Datti Baba-admed Has Been Absent From Campaign Rallies by Ray333(m): 7:20pm On Dec 24, 2022
Datti has not always being fully committed to this journey.
Ask anyone who knows him well he never resigned from PDP till date.
His godfather and benefactor Namadi Sambo( former vice President and main financier of Baze university) is Sen everywhere at Atiku rallies.
You think he will ever go against his master? It's being speculated that Namadi is the real owner of Baze university sef....Datti is only a front.
Northerners go teach every one lesson....this is something they have that the south lacks.
Look at PDP's increasing base in Katsina and Jigawa plus other northern states you would know something is cooking.

Politics / Re: Atiku In Trouble, Begs Governors For Campaign Funds- Sources by Ray333(m): 11:33am On Oct 28, 2022
How can you say Atiku of all people is broke.
Let me tell u OP he made $100m from the sales of his Intels shares and he instructed such monies be channeled to his campaign.
My PDP candidate for my zone alone was given $5M to prosecute his own campaign personally by Atiku.
Come of it joor this man can never be broke till he dies.

Politics / Re: With Okowa As Atiku's Running Mate, Will PDP Win The Presidential Election? by Ray333(m): 6:48pm On Jun 16, 2022
I for one think Okowa has little effect on the ticket.
Come to think of it who would we rather have?
Controversial Wike who Atiku knows he cannot control in case they win? Or a simple quite person whom he can easily do as he pleases with.
Mind you he remembers what he did to OBJ and wouldn't want same for himself.
Politics / Re: 2023: Saraki, Lawan May Emerge PDP, APC Presidential Candidates by Ray333(m): 2:20pm On May 22, 2022
If PDP must go north...then Atiku is their best bet. Then Peter Obi should deputise for him, in warming up to take over when it's due.
If it's south then Peter Obi should be their choice , any other candidate outside these two will just be a win for APC.
Career / Re: It's International Nurses' Week- What Do You Have To Say About Nurses? by Ray333(m): 8:17pm On May 10, 2022
We are angels on earth despite the harsh working conditions.
And negative perceptions about us which I know as one proud nurse that I am not guilty of any.
Every profession has bad eggs and quacks.
Even me personally I have been a victim of a harsh treatment by a professional colleague but it did not change my perception about the generality of nurses.
God bless the true ones and change the ones who do anyhow.

EKONGKING:
These people will still vote for APC ,the elders of the community will dine and dance with their oppressors .
The soldiers from the community, will always follow the command of their oppressors and shoot southerners resisting fulani herdsmen .while online educated fools of the community ,support the evil ,when its favouring them.

If these people can't organise themselves and revolt against oppressors ,I can't see why southerners should worry about them.

And who told you southern Kaduna votes for APC? You need to read about the place in question before you comment.
The votes PDP got there are more than the ones they got in the entire south east.
The only PDP senator from the entire north west was from Southern Kaduna till Sokoto got some.
Why do you think we are suffering like this, worse is that when we revolt the military arrests us and seize our weapons.
We are being fought from all angles.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Are Graduate Northerns Not Looking For Job Like Other Region by Ray333(m): 2:49pm On Aug 02, 2021
Well personally I envy Hausa Fulani for one thing they most definitely know how to lift themselves up....once a Hausa man gets an office he doesn't care about any due process he recruits almost their entire village; but once a Christian whether northern tribes or southern gets there, he wants you to always worship him forever while he feeds you crumbs....you sometimes you won't even blame them when you see them in every lucrative agency.

Politics / Re: Labour Crisis: FG Directs Kaduna To Follow Principle Of Redundancy by Ray333(m): 11:43am On May 21, 2021
Why are people justifying this ludicrous claim that 80% of income goes to salaries.
He is selling the narrative using only FAAC allocation.
Forgetting IGR which has tripled since he became governor.
He even made claims just few weeks before he started the sackings that government can pay salaries even without allocation from Abuja.
So what suddenly changed within weeks?
Ok even if redundancy is observed why not pay them their entitleents but no even those sacked as back as 2016 are yet to see a dime.

Politics / Re: Atyap Chiefs Brief El-Rufai On Peace Process In Southern Kaduna by Ray333(m): 6:08pm On Aug 26, 2020
Well I agree with your submission but to be a little bit more clearer, we have atleast 40-50 Tribes or ethnic minorities in southern Kaduna For example we have Oegworok (kagoro),Ham(haba),Atyap(kataf) ,Adara, Jju(Bajju),Moroa,Bakulu,Chawai,Fantswam(Kafanchan),Nikyob,Gwong,Ninzom,
Numana the tribe of the present deputy governor and so many others.....now see where the problem comes from most of these tribes have practising Muslims among them but then most of them rather claim they are Hausa for reasons best known to them,I think because of religion sha....but to be candid and fair I will tell you boldly that there is no indigenous Hausa in southern Kaduna... most of them came from far northern states and joined with the indigenous Muslims thereby claiming indigenes and so becomes a part of the community all because of the kind disposition of the natives ...i can cite you examples of Igbos and yorubas claiming indigenes of kafanchan the political and economic capital of southern Kaduna.....me for example my dad is igala(Muslim) but my mum is Fantswam (christian) I use Jema'a local govt I claim indigene and am a Christian and nobody is worried all because of the kindness of the natives.....but the problem is when without provocation somebody just starts a fight shooting and killing like the 2011 post election crisis I can swear with my life there was no provocation what's so ever but it started...my mum's cousin is married to a Senegalese Muslim man but he claims kafanchan nobody have stopped him from that.... so I blame the kind disposition of the indigenes and the foolishness of the indigenous Muslims because these people are all your brothers and yet because of religion you fight them thereby being allies with people from other far north states...now the Hausas know this faultlines that is what the governor is doing he decided to empower the indigenous Muslims to spite the indigenous Christians which is sad....and that's why any idea of integration between those tribes is always difficult ....look at SOKAPU which is to be a united front for the southern Kaduna people unfortunately the Muslims refused to join saying it's a Christian organisation so the problem is very big and I doubt it can be solved until we have a governor who will be sincere and not take sides.
Jaqenhghar:

I have lived there a long time. I cant name the all the tribes off the top of my head there are about 5 -6 minus the gwaris. There is the Ham (which people erroneously call Jaba), the bajju, those based in Kagoro, area among others. Now each tribe is always trying to outdo the other as the most sophisticated or the most superior. My aunty was actively involved in their politics though she wasn't from there and I remember how she used to complain about their lack of unity. She used to say that a day is coming when they will lose everything. This was about 20 years ago.
The numbers are very very frightening. For long these fulanis have always abhorred them and have always shown them they are inferior. This is simipar to what's happening in Plateau. The minor tribes there keep butting heads against esch other while the muslim hausa fulanis keep increasing their presence
