Are you saying i should not wait for the DHL delivery?
You can if you have already paid for it, but my wife’s mate didn’t wait. She went and picked it up herself but she lived in Lagos, so it was easy for her to do so.

I never thought I would say this but I can’t wait to retire and move to Nigeria. I never had that mentality until I visited and thought wow we are slaving here in the UK. If you have your money, you have a property in Nigeria then am pretty sure you are better off after slaving here working for many years, my pension years would be spent in Nigeria in Jesus name!

Hello house. I want to reply for a UK visitor visa after being refused in 2021.
I made mistake in the application as I did not explain the inflows in my bank statement(‘cos the inflows where more than my salary for the period as I stated that I did not have any other source of income apart from my salary). This will be rectified in the next application.

I have never traveled out of Nigerian, should I be worried about the my immigration history?

I would greatly appreciate any help/advice on what to do on my next application.

Attached is the previous refusal letter.
Not claiming to be an expert or anything. There are a lot of posters that would probably have better answers to your question on here.

One thing I was just hoping to point out if you haven’t work it out yourself is the financial details that you put forward.

If you are earning £700 per month and your outgoings are £500 per month then you should have an average of £200 left each month in your account not £900, especially when you stated that your work is your only source of income. That is just an example of things that you might need to tidy up before reapplying… Goodluck anyways, you should have a good case by the way of this letter.

omo i did this oo even told them how they were affecting my health and all. They said they will escalate it. Finally asked for my passport while sending another paid mail cos i need it to go somewhere else and guess what ? my passport became ready for pick up after 4 days of withdrawing the application, this people have no conscience. I hope i see a visa there when i pick up on monday. Vowed never to apply to them again unless it's for work.
Good luck picking up tomorrow, I hope you get the right outcome. They literally either have no staffs or no regards for peoples mental state. You have people waiting and waiting for things that they paid lot of money for. Get more staffs in if that’s the issue, they making millions per week from applicants.

Hello House, just a quick update. I had my friend in the UK call UKVI for me. they said a decision was made on the passport on thursday but till now no update on the tracking site. I really hope we can get the passport before wednesday coz that is the actual travel date.
From reading on here and research, there is no point waiting for TLS updates. Go to TLS to pick up your passport, they probably have it there, once you have picked up they would then update their tracker lol.

She has not received any mail so far for rejection or approval.
Seems a decision already has been made. Goodluck, she would need to contact TLS to pick up her passport now.

I wouldn’t be shocked. My ex-wife works as a probation officer with London probation, always in court for this sort of things, mostly prisoner from Belmarsh prison.

Had to go to detention camp to see foreign born British citizen who fighting against deportation.

Abeg,i wan chop Ogi and moi moi (we dey hibernate inside leaf)...…..
They can’t deport his wife and children. Even if they try her solicitors and support group would fight and win the case for her and her children.

With him it might be difficult to fight it though, maybe the whole “A right to family life?”

But then he should have thought of that when he was bailed and told not to post and then he was rearrested for doing so.

However, in October 2020, he was rearrested by officers after he made further offending social media posts whilst on bail. Two further charges were added as a result.

His deportation paper work has started . People people People and fellow immigrants we gat to be of good behaviour at all time... lol

Wow that’s not right, that’s too quick. Usually they would let you finish your sentence before the process starts.

The fact that they gave him 4.5 years seems all calculated, so that he can qualify for deportation. Maybe he can fight it after he completes his sentence?

Interesting, so he was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, which means he would be eligible for automatic deportation.

Forget the tracking update from TLS. It’s unless, they probably have your passport waiting for you there now. Send a paid email to UKVI as encourage by the poster. And they would tell you whether a decision has been made on your application or not. If a decision has been made just turn up at TLS.

I think it might be a thing of concern when the person wants to have a renewal.

But I also heard that one is not expected to stay more than 6months in a stay even if your visa is 2yrs, 5yrs, 10yrs. However as a self employed deciding to stay for 3 months having someone to take charge while you are away, it's your money you are spending.
I guess the whites do travel to somewhere and spend vacation for up to 3months.
Please I stand to be corrected, just my opinion o
It would be quite hard to justify going on annual leave for 3 months, even if you are P.diddy, I hope he doesn’t put his visa in jeopardy.

Usually the normal annual leave that most normal people take in the UK is 2 weeks and up to 4 weeks. They would probably look at things in that way.

If it’s his “Money” as you put it then he could have done multiple travels in that same period without putting his visa through any suspicion as per his annual leave/holidays.
TravelRe: How Dangerous Is It For A Foreigner To Visit Nigeria? by Ray7878: 11:28am On Apr 01, 2022
ChimasGirl:
Okay, then let me ask specifically about Abuja and tell you what my boyfriend has told me. He has stated that the city itself is safe. We would stay in one of the hotels where most foreigners and visitors would stay. He would always be by my side, and he would even ask his sister's family to come meet me. We wouldn't go to any sketchy locations. He will not have me in any areas where mosquitoes swarm for fear I'd get malaria. He is even hesitant to let me ride a tuk tuk because they are not the safest mode of transportation. He is already considering what food I eat too. He won't let me drink bagged water, but instead bottled water, such as from Nestle. I know he would be very diligent, and I too would be very cautious of my actions and how I presented myself.
I think people actually overreact when talking about any foreigners coming to west Africa. Our mindset need to change.

Prior to me visiting Nigeria and marrying a lady from Abeokuta I had never been. Even though my parents were Nigerian.

For years they would NOT allow us to go and would put out negative things in our minds (Especially my mother).

The sad reality is Lagos even though was overpopulated was an amazing place to be, I never felt unsafe, the only time I felt unsafe is when I got stopped in my Uber by the police who were doing their road side checks, because I have dreadlocks and don’t sound Nigerian.

I have been twice since, stayed in Airbnb rather than hotels, visited places and felt safe, the people are amazing, they would ask you for money but never pull a knife on you like in the UK where I have almost been stabbed TWICE. People just stare at you because you look different, but most would say hello etc and nothing else.

So it’s frustrating when I see or read Nigerians who live in Nigeria, making unsafe comments to others who are trying to visit the country.

Yes be cautions, yes be aware of your surroundings and yes know the location that you would be staying and making sure it’s a safe area.

Well my husband’s company shows inactive and he files his annual returns at his business year end.

What he did during his visa application was that he attached the acknowledgement slip given to him for filing his annual return at CAC stating that he has filed for the period of 2020/2021 and he should endeavour to file the following year after his year end.
His visa was issued without any complain
That’s because he covered all the basis, the attachment of the acknowledgment slip is a genius move on his part.

No way would your company show up as “inactive” and you haven’t cover yourself and you are expecting to be granted the visa. These people would look for every little excuse to deny people.

Sorry about that misconception, I meant a family setup.
No worries boss, I asked her. She pays about 11k per month on average. She lives in Lagos and has 2 other guest living with her. One grown male and a younger female. Not sure if that helps or not.

She has a TV, freezer, fridge, generator which she uses on and off, water pump, iron which she uses occasionally.

I plan to correct that by filing annual returns with cac. I really want to know if this has happened to anyone and they were given the visa after rectifying it and also how they went about it. Anyone can pm me with suggestions too. Thank you
About 6/7 pages down this thread the same thing that happened to your application happened to someone else. They refused then based on the checks which classified it as “Inactive and not trading” so if they find that about the company then they would NOT believe whatever funds you presented as having in a bank account.

Hopefully if that is rectified moving forward then you guys would be successful.

My question is always/still why is the company showing up as inactive? Is that because of the “Non-filling?”
FamilyRe: How Much Do You Spend On Electricity Bill Monthly by Ray7878: 8:43am On Apr 01, 2022
Are this questions only directed at “Family men” or “Family women” can answer too? I am asking because my mother owns her property, pays all her bills. So I can actually ask her how much she pays. But if the question is for men only then no worries grin

Good day guys. Please I need your help. My husband and I got refused uk visitor visa today. Find attached our refusal letter. They said my husband’s cac documents says inactive and I was rejected because he is being rejected. Kindly advice on the next course of action as we really want to go for the vacation. We have both been to the US. I had my 2 kids in the US but I don’t have a valid us visa. They wrote something about history. Attached is the letter. Should we reapply?? Or just leave them be. Our accounts are very well funded btw. He’s very capable of sponsoring the trip as personal account has more than 15m. I need suggestions please, for them to say funds are not available doesn’t make sense.
Why was the company inactive? Is the company still trading? No point in re-applying if that part isn’t sorted.

Honestly if she is on PIP then she would probably be on the mobility part of PIP. And when you look at the reasons for being put in a mobility part of PIP then I doubt it would help their case for a spouse visa.

Please be aware, as others have told you this is a scam. Someone asked you already “Did you apply for the job?” But you haven’t replied to that question yet. Because your answer would tell you what you really want to know.

Please be careful, do not allow yourself to be scammed due to desperation. There are a lot of south Asian people who can build a site and use links like the ones that sent you to scam you. Your screenshot is annotated with non-British English writings. Which is a red flag.
