Bolaoni, thank you for that write-up from BBC Sports! grin You could have come up with your own though. . . grin

Back to the issue at hand. I have a question for you: - Do footie fans score the goals?  grin

Please do not forget what we did to Barca!  grin   grin

Chelsea is more likely to go through because, as everyone admitted, we played better in the first leg (it was just unfortunate that we couldn't score more goals).

Don't forget that we have our complete squad now! The only person missing is Robben!  grin

Roma on the other hand played much better than you guys in your first leg. Infact, it was as a result of Scholes struggle to keep them from scoring more goals that he got a red card!

7:45 pm is the time!  grin   grin

I believe this story should come here: -

SOCCER boss Chris Coleman’s car was bugged by his wife after she became convinced he was seeing other women, The Sun can reveal.

Suspicious Belinda Coleman spent £2,000 having a listening device and electronic tracker secretly fitted to her hubby’s black Range Rover.

Mum-of-four Belinda had become obsessed by rumours that Coleman — manager of Premiership side Fulham — was having affairs.

Sun reporter Gary O’Shea told Coleman, 36, about the bugs as he arrived at the club’s Surrey training ground yesterday.

Looking shocked, Coleman replied: “Bugged? How long has this been going on?"

Coleman’s jaw then literally dropped two inches when our man said it was his own WIFE who ordered the surveillance.

He told us: “Seriously? Thanks for letting me know — cheers!"

He gave O’Shea a thumbs-up before driving into the training ground.

Meanwhile pretty Belinda, 42, admitted she had been spying on her husband.

The petite brunette said: “How do you know all about this? This is so hard for me, please understand that. I can’t say anything. I need to talk to my husband.”

There is no suggestion that Belinda has caught Swansea-born Coleman, a former Wales international, cheating.

But she had his car bugged after being put in touch with Bradford-based surveillance experts JMB Investigations.

JMB boss Javid Butt dispatched a surveillance specialist to fit the snooping devices to the year-old Range Rover two weeks ago.

The fitter crept in to connect and test the equipment after Belinda let him know the coast was clear when her husband left for the day.

The expert took four hours to install the gear but left before Coleman returned, leaving no sign that his car had been tampered with.

The gadgets allow Belinda to tune into the listening device in the Range Rover at any time to eavesdrop.

She can also track the movements of the car on a moving map by logging on to a website and tapping in a security code. It is understood she has told the firm the hardware was working “brilliantly”.

What I saw on T.V. was the Italian police smashing the heads of the supporters repeatedly.

I am not a scummie fan but I found it really annoying! It was as if there was an inherent hatred for the scummies in that police!  huh

I agree with you on that point. But don't you think the Roman police were a bit too brutal?  angry

It reminds me of the Nigerian police!

Bloodied and bruised fans arriving back from Manchester United's Champions League clash in Rome have spoken of their anger at Italian police.
A number of United fans were taken to hospital, three with stab wounds, and some were arrested after clashes with police and Roma fans on Wednesday.

Some supporters arriving at Manchester Airport were bandaged and others had head wounds.

"The police were beyond control," said one eye-witness.

During the game, which Roma won 2-1, both sets of fans could be seen throwing missiles at each other.

Uefa has announced an investigation into the crowd trouble at the Stadio Olimpico, although United fans claimed it was Italian police who made the situation worse.

The doctor said I was very lucky to be alive - I was 2cm away from being dead

Stephen Fitzsimons

The Independent Manchester United Supporters Association (IMSA) led the condemnation of police for what it said were "hideous" attacks on fans.

Spokeswoman Carly Lyes, 23, said: "There was no need for the brutal level of violence they showed.

"The police charged in from all angles and were hitting people indiscriminately.

"They didn't care who got hurt. People were running all over the place trying to get away. It was chaos."

Businessman Stephen Fitzsimons, 53, from Stretford, Greater Manchester, was knifed in the groin as he made his way to the ground with three friends.

He was taken to hospital and twice underwent emergency surgery to control his bleeding.

Mr Fitzsimons, who hopes to be released from hospital on Saturday, told BBC Radio Manchester: "No police have been to see me,  it's disgusting.

"The doctor said I was very lucky to be alive - I was 2cm away from being dead."

Some witnesses inside the ground spoke of terrified women and children running away from the police during one baton charge, while a disabled man was reportedly knocked out of his wheelchair.

Uefa to investigate Rome violence

BBC correspondent Christian Fraser, who was in the stadium, said trouble flared after Roma fans ran towards the perspex partition which separated the supporters.

He said Manchester United fans reacted and the police moved in with their batons in a response that was "at best robust and in some cases some officers went completely over the top".
