Now that Metuh and PDP employees are fighting, who will remain to vote PDP in 2019? PDP is dead and buried. ![]() Yaradua passed away with the iota of ideology left. GEJ and his mediocre team of unscrupulous fellows grubbed out the foundation and carted the debris away. It is obvious the Party cannot survive without stealing. Political armed robbers! barcanista:My dear friend, barrels are different from litres. Presently it is receiving 60,000 barrels/day of crude oil with a target short term output of 2m litres of PMS or Petrol. The maximum capacity of the refinery is 110,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The company plans to achieve 8m litres per day by next year. The corresponding crude oil prerequisite input was not stated on the article. Unsure if the total crude capacity can provide such number of litres of petrol! |

Speculators in trouble... Win some, lose some! |
Apt! Gandhi's letter though, pretty confusing.. |
These are the "magomago" of the last government that led to loss of revenue for the last administration. Milan Group, owners of Intercontinental Hotel should know that it is no longer business as usual. The Indians should get their acts together. No more waivers. |
One chance! |
The comments I read on Nairaland these days are worrisome. No intellectual arguments but barrage of insults. For everyone who read the short article, you will notice the topic is misleading. The intent was not to sell all Nigerian refineries to Dangote, but 2 out of the existing moribund 4 to "Dangote and other investors" during the latter days of Obj as President. The article did not elucidate on the bid process, but it will be wrong for anyone to assume there was no bid and the decision was selective. The telecoms sector privatization was a success. If the power sector reforms had been duly executed using a Value Chain and Project Management approach taking into consideration, generation, transmission and distribution holistically and as a system, it would have also been a success. If the sale had not been reversed, the FG's contributions to subsidy would have been way lower than what itvis today with price also staying within range! |
Very few Nigerians have this exceeding intuitive cerebral gift of qualitative indepth search of statutory gazettes and policies. The OP's analysis are damn spot on. Thanks for the info OP. May you remainbin the top 20% for this apposite article and advice to governments to reverse this anomaly! |
Amazing! |
Wanice:Derogatory word in my last post? Please identify. I need not discuss why she is a scam in deference to the subject. |
Wanice:Shame kwa? A news agency chose to disregard our own; and i stand by her, and you term it shame? How then do we rekindle our battered dignity? Her BBOG angst and drive against the past administration was because of the lackluster attitude to rescuing the girls. If the new government is willing to support the BBOG cause, why antagonize the government? |
Dr Olusola my Bld 201 lecturer, then Mr Olusola, OAU Ife 14 years ago, with only 3 native attires and a rickety Datsun Car. Chai, would neva believe you will attain this height. Congrats again Sir! |

Shame on every Nairalander who hurled insults at Madam Oby for correcting CNBC Africa. 90% of the commentators on the primary thread on this subject expressed extreme ignorance. https://www.nairaland.com/2475567/oby-ezekwesili-replies-cnbcs-tweet Please refer to the link below for the list of World Bank VPs. http://www.worldbank.org/en/about/leadership/managers In Madam Oby's voice, google is your friend! |

On point. Nonetheless, he should have prioritized accordingly. Effective Portfolio Management and increase in IGR are the way forward measures instead of overreliance on loans for development. Amaechi and Akpabio should be the focus for financial recklessness probes and not Aregbe. His State's allocation is inconsequential compared to the aforementioned ex-Governors. His contracts also do not seem over-inflated. |
Don Jazzy fall hand. It is folly to advertise such recklessness when humans are seeking for what to eat. They should commit such banter to schooling 100 Senior Secondary School Students in Public Schools! |
Blessings of the Lord. His parents gave themselves true worth; the baby has started to reap a day after stepping in. Aptly nice! |
He looks unhappy.... She must ve been singing patua on his head ![]() |
When she looks at him, she sees Ramsey Noah. Such is true love! ![]() |
That is N7m cumulatively. The amount can sponsor 70 children through Senior Secondary School in a public school for 3 years. They should please reconsider. We will give the winner 10,000 likes on Nl if they are willing to donate the aggregate banter to the suggested charity exercise. ![]() |
