EdCure:Funny how our opening sentences were the same and dropped about same time. Pray we have more astute leaders like Fash! |
Leader par excellence. Fashola is obviously not without the sin of corruption but within permissible limits. More importantly is the great vision and efforts of the leaders who had held the mantle to govern Lagosians since 1999, the advent of the fourth republic. Lagos is still not where it should be, but obviously far from where it was. Time to build all of Nigeria. God bless the writer! |
AsSabirin:I concur. It smirks of poor quality and lacks panache. A reflection of Jonathan's lack of taste and understanding of anything (no pun intended). You will be stunned at how much the supposed retirement home costs. Visit the South East and see edifices by hard working traders! |
A sense of beauty and orderliness everywhere. Time to recover 16 years' loss! |
Dorrobucci:He did not instigate violence. Rigging and electoral fraud did. Illiteracy and dearth of preelection orientation fueled the crisis. I am sure Jonathan and his household will also rejoice with Buhari today. I am sure Jonathan concurs that Buhari will make a better President. It us a new dawn of cerebral acuity, accountability, orderliness and integrity. Join the new Nigeria brother and let us commence the monitoring and tracking of our commonwealth. We have lost so much in 16 years with only the advent of GSM to show. We must gain so much in 4 years. God bless Nigeria. |
Man of excellence. It is a herculean task governing a State like Lagos. I imagine he would have achieved more if there was no corruption. Goodbye Mr Fash! |
Sad! |
Koroaso:Bruv, like I said earlier, I disagree with the original poster querying why Okonjo should not be challenged. We are on the same page on this. I concur absolutely! |
Koroaso:My penultimate post refers to the views i chose to support in the spirit of a debate. I do not support the original writer's opinion about calling out Okonjo. But I support his or her drive to push the youths beyond limits. I am more excited because motivation is my primary research theme. I have previously, and will continue to voice against feckless leadership. But for the discussion in context, I support we drive ourselves toward excellence irrespective of the obstacles. I read yesterday, Orikinla's post about a partnership and endorsement with an apt company and I was excited/inspired, that is the spirit. Let us make economic progress while we also constructively critic the government. if you are more successful than Seun, please share your story and inspire others. I will let the name calling pass. ![]() Cheers! |
O boy see vex..... ![]() You have a point and the author of the original article has a point too. It depends on how we interpret your divergent views. If Seun Osewa can survive and make enormous wealth despite the economic vicissitudes of bad leadership and extreme corruption in Nigeria, then I am motivated by the views of the original poster. It is high time youths thought outside the box and aggressively choose to see opportunities in Nigeria's challenging situation. I henceforth choose to be an Outlier! |
![]() I have just learnt a management lesson..... Sege Wife! |
Aboki sef like enjoyment ooo. See old man swagger ooooo. |
Olusola10:He brews trouble behind closed doors (refer to #Ekitigate) and pretends to be democratic out doors. His crass style of politics is destroying our once peaceful state. May tranquility return IJN, Amen! ![]() |
Election kwa. Thought the lot of them will leave in 12 days. The new forum members should select their excos joor! |
They always try to kiss but end up never kissing. Wait ooo, where is the Reverend's left hand in the last picture? The other guy in white too at the extreme left ![]() |
She looks sad. Twitter people have dehypnotised her with their unaffirmative comments, even from far away US. Her mother would have been too apt for her new groom, how much more herself. Enjoy the rest of your years with the husband of your youth. Prenup no dey naija ooooo... Nb: Oshiomole should complete this church building na! |
The President-Elect of a secular nation shakes a friend's newly wedded wife at their wedding and makes efforts to also look away and he is being vilified for not following the tenets of Islam. Smh ![]() Is he the President-Elect of Muslims? ![]() I definitely do not want my President acting like a staunch Sheik; Or his wife wrapped in veil like moimoi in leaves. This is a funky age and the first family elect should be allowed to blend within the ambits of secularly accepted morals! ![]() |
From obscurity to relevance... |
Wow. Astute and well written letters. Devoid of hate and incitement. If leaders were this educated 44 years ago, then Nigeria deserves to be way ahead of where it is right now! |

Ndume?? The same Senator with BH sponsorship allegations to his name? A no no! |
"God bless Nigeria"! Best message from Mr Okonkwo. I feel sad for him... |
A student woefully fails a course and suggests to return as the teacher in the next session; how is that possible? The primary reason PDP is talking of bouncing back is because of the President and his allies' failure to perform and his mismanagement of the country's resources. How some people sat through his inglorious speech without raising objections is surprising! |
Bollinger:lol. My being impressed relates to his remarks on modesty and good governance since he became a Senator and not only because he was flying on a lower class. In deference to the topic, the message is that being ostentatious is not necessary. Flying a lower class should not warrant inferiority complex. This is a good message irrespective of how truthful the bearer is. Ben may not be without sin, but he seems ready to give his best. All the allegations being pelted now should have been brought forth before the elections. I am surprised for being hounded for citing he does not want ghana-must-go bags as a Senator. I will ignore the insults. |
I am quite impressed with Ben Murray-Bruce's social media sensitisation since he became a Senator Elect. I can attest to his very simple lifestyle and can also reliably confirm he is extremely wealthy. I see a new Nigeria in 4 years. Criminals are also getting reformed and willing to serve. It is time for serious business. I believe! |
I am still baffled at the fast tracked rate the bad guys and babes of GEJ directed action movie are coming down. A compendium of denials and dissociations. We warned severally but they listened not. They continued in their rot. I am sure this dude wants all his outstanding balance paid before May 29. Why he no shout before elections? Yeye! |
The unpresidential President's dearth of leadership traits is trickling down to the body he is expected to lead. GEJ/Muazu/Fayose/PDP, a case study for leadership schools. I pity Abati the most! |
UYCO:Warri turned to Dubai, hehehehehehe ![]() |
barcanista:Correct guy. I still owe you one bottle oooo..... Hail Mr OREMUSSANCTUS, choi how person form this name? |
barcanista:Barca my man, no dey fall my hand ooo. You need not associate with every Anti-APC or Pro-PDP charade. I want to see objective comments on the state of affairs and not some funny association with "role model" robots. ![]() |
