This is the most esteemed state of selflessness.

Especially in an environment where there is absolutely no motivation to render this quality of service.

Perhaps, the lifted may be handicapped, otherwise, there should be no basis for the extra efforts.

God's wisdom and protection all the way gallant officer.

Nb:
It seems Nigerian photographers have joined the theatre of war. Very good shot! smiley

Yes in the land where people truly live; where brains exist!

Sincerely we have no idea how fortunate we are with our climate, topography, hydro geological composition and subsoil conditions. Otherwise there would have been a recurring perennial outbreak of diseases with our obdurate laissez faire attitude....
TravelRe: Lagos Can Never Be Compared With Abuja - Lady Blasts Lagosians by realborn(m):
cool

The checklist for measuring satisfaction or maximum utility differs.

Abuja:
- Serene
- Could be lethargic (absolute state of Torpor from the Head of State to Legislators to Civil Servants and inadvertently Private Businesses)
- Very good roads at CBD and environs
- Hinterlands, Suburbs and Rural areas are as dense and environmentally unfriendly as Lagos
- Could have tough climatic conditions at certain times of the year
- Not very flexible
- Low density at CBD but quite high at Rural areas
- Generally peaceful
- Affordable and Clean transportation
- Heavily dependent on Government activities
- Fairly good social life

Lagos
- Certain areas are very Urbane
- Hectic transportation predominantly on the mainland
- Land of endless possibilities and opportunities
- Fast paced. Activates your determination for success and excellence
- Very prone to pollution
- Evolves daily
- Fairly good climatic conditions except at the peak of rainy season
- Amazing social life
- Better potential for professional work experience
- Medium crime rate
- Great potentials for SMEs
- Very densely populated

I have lived in both cities. My preference is for Lagos. Formative years' experience is a key criterion to determine the factors that define preference.

Live in Lekki, work in Victoria Island or Ikoyi or live and work in close proximity on the Mainland. Be financially stable and the ills of living in Lagos can be cushioned to a large degree.

I love Lagos smiley smiley

Work very very hard in your early and formative years. Create appropriate structure, thereafter "do as you like".

FO deserves to court any controversy he desires or the public desires to perceive.

With how far he has fared, it may be apt to conclude that being a "husband" may be more fulfilling and important to him at this stage of his life. I trust Adichie to understand smiley.

I can feel retirement pangs; FO is basking well. Let others keep doing the work. It is high time he enjoyed social media thrills.

Next is Snapchat.....

Shola Ogudu has secured a future vide her offspring by raising him WELL!

She seemed like an accidental baby mama (BM) when this jewel was born. But she has since developed a winning strategy not akin to the lots of media thirsty and prurience instigating BMs with similar copulation process by very young men of related profession.

In 2 decades, when their fathers may have faded into retirement like sagacious veterans of the 90s (e.g SSP), this one, like Clarence Peters will be a backbone.

Shola, keep saving every stipend from Whizkid; keep investing same in Bolutife. I will be alive to celebrate you both in 2040 smiley

Absolutely splendid.

They visit, they find an untapped opportunity, they refine it, export it, leave with it, no trademarks, no legal tussles, they own it, recreate it, repackage it, and make a damn fortune from it; the real owners? Enmeshed in theatrical charades back home.

Kudos to these two. Quite commendable that they made reference to the source in the selection of a name for the groundbreaking product.

I envisage very soon, Ikoyi Chapman will be imported by Nigerians and sold at bars with a £1.50 mark on it smiley.

Exactly what we do with our main source of forex, crude oil. I just love my country. grin

3. Strong cognitive ability
4. Brash and courageous
5. Go getter
6. Overly ambitious
7. High risk appetite
8. Stupidly optimistic

there's no country that develops or solves its internal problems when d president of another country "holds d ace". That's slavery mentality. D development of any country can only come from within not from outside it and Not by travelling round and visiting "almighty" trump&America
You should please read my post again. Leaders meet to reach mutually beneficial way forward resolves that will benefit their respective entities.

All I am saying is that strategic meetings should have an apt agenda, not the type being touted by Sheu.

Trump and the ace reference is on the auspice of a certain cross section of the public's perception of Trump. Let's assume Trump is readily available to hold astute discussions with Buhari, the question shall be, is Buhari ready?

Not at all. Hence I cited we assume he holds the ace. The visit in my understanding is to jointly hold serious discussions relating to both countries, not necessarily solve all problems.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Nigeria Did Not Get Required Support From Obama – Presidency by realborn(m): 5:29am On Apr 30, 2018
huh

Summary:

1. Garba Sheu granted an interview at Washington DC.

2. Buhari's visit is symbolic.

3. Buhari is the first African President to meet Trump. No matter how Nigerian's see their own country (I assume no matter the disapproval of poor leadership), meeting Trump first before others in Africa is the bomb grin

4. Trump has opened doors of support unlike Obama (blame every body that can be blamed on planet earth and beyond)

5. Discussions shall hold with Trump on ending Boko Haram menace.

6. Mr Adewoye and his crew held placards in support of Buhari.

7. To Sheu the gesture shows the deep appreciation of Nigerians seemingly living abroad toward Buhari's work in Nigeria (this is the real game over).

Without mincing words, this interview obviously gives an insight to the teams supposed historic visit. In my opinion, an a la carte of ineptitude. These dudes lack every understanding of the job at hand.

An opportunity to represent Nigeria and Africa at a meeting with a strategic Partner like USA (let's pretend Trump holds the ace), should have a more strategic agenda. My expectations will be discussions on:

- Sustainable Development Goals
- Abating Hunger
- Global Warming
- Improving Trade
- Enhancing and Providing Health Care
- Support for establishment of Research and Development Centers
- Renewable and Clean Sources of Energy in Africa
- Abating the growing menace of Communal clashes
- Investment and assistance in developing Africa's emerging Technology Hub
- State of Nigerians and African migrants in the USA
- Abating the unending migration of Africans through unsuitable means to Europe
- Assistance in identifying and returning laundered loots and proceeds of corruption by Public Officials.
- Collaboration in changing and enhancing the Education outlook in Africa and upgrade to global standards
- Training of the Military and Law Enforcement Agencies
Etc!

Quite a long way to go!
PoliticsRe: What Buhari And Trump Will Discuss About In First Official Meeting by realborn(m): 3:28pm On Apr 29, 2018
Nothing to discuss! sad

With a harum-scarum gesture towards leadership. It may be another waste of tax payers funds.

Both can't even effectively communicate with eachother. I hope there will be interpreters, perhaps a modicum of progress may be made, and an unwarranted offpoint gaffe prevented.

PMB may do well as a community leader, a "Baale" in Yoruba parlance. He is absolutely bereft of what strategic leadership is about.

My views though!
RomanceRe: Chiamaka Obuekwe 'Social Prefect' Dumps Husband, Aniefiok Ntai 10 Weeks After by realborn(m): 2:04pm On Apr 29, 2018
undecided

Chiamaka,

1. You are quite very pretty. Checked your random pictures on google image, enhanced and not enhanced.

2. Never contemplate suicide.

3. Everyone gets body-shamed by someone, someway, somehow irrespective of how charming we may look to others.

4. What could really be the problem? Belly fat? Because you really do not look fat in your pictures. Perhaps a bit thick (preferred by plenty of us wink

5. If it is belly fat, majority of women suffer from same and may eventually garner a measure postpartum.

6. Whatever it is that makes you insecure, make an acceptable and enjoyable effort to work on it. But please change the underlying reason, it should never primarily be because of someone's pleasure, even if it is a spouse.

7. Marriage can be tough. You need to stay tough at those times and not quick with your fingers on the pad.

8. If you still duly love your husband, kill depression, and you both find ways to work it out.

9. If you sense a decline in physical attraction, do not relent. It is a normal phase that must pass in marriage. For those who have had long years of courtship embellished with pre-marital sex, the decline comes earlier.

10. However, with time both parties truly understand the essence of marriage beyond physical needs and the marriage begins to blossom again inclusive of meeting eachother's physical needs.

11. Nonetheless, if he verbally or physically abuses you to unprintable measures, and you feel total disconnect with absolutely no option of return in your heart as illustrated in your post, I absolutely concur and agree. No one should be treated less!

12. Life will be great again. Stay hopeful!

TV/MoviesRe: Bbnaija: Nina Ends Her Relationship With Miracle In Tears by realborn(m):
grin

Funny how everyone thinks this young lady is dumb. My posits:

1. She is very intuitive. She identified a strategic partner quite early in the show. - business lesson: goid merger and acquisition, higher returns, good turnover (others have left, her merger with a good product has kept her)

2. She is very committed. She has stayed put to one lover without faltering in emotions, despite the lot if dudes in the house. Thus she can't be termed wayward. - business lesson: stay absolutely loyal to the right product. Continue to develop the merged brand outcome.

3. Yes she was startled, and gave a political response to Ebuka's question. But hey, Miracle was the preffered and respected of the two from her response. If Miracle expected her to completely denounce and shame her "boyfriend", then he has a problem. She was being fair to both parties but recognizes that the bird at hand was her "everything". Thus worths more but also appreciative of source. - business lesson: maintain good character in the face of external influence and pressure.

She seems quite kind and good at heart too. Over the years she would master how to control her emotions. I do not think she is slutty. I think like everyone her emotions oscillate in waves, she is just more overly expressive.

Miracle while in that house can't take the risk of another dude cuddling her, it will bruise his ego. Soon he would be back chasing her about. She needs not cry.

For the boyfriend at home, take heart. She has sailed. I ALMOST WILL NEVER WANT HER BACK BEYOND INTIMACY.

She may not win. But her strategy knowingly or unknowingly kept her this far. She should enjoy the rest of the show before coming over to meet Prof. Obasi.

The very smart ones have left and are watching her from home.

There is absolutely no strategic/success blueprint. Till then, related feedback is not useful!
