The chant against flamboyant Pastors is very commendable.

Reveling in joy at the revoke of some christian fellowships is shocking. This can be misconstrued to assume your angst is not really with the Pastors but Christianity (Pentecostals). Anything anti-Christianity subconsciously may unknowingly be giving you joy. A dangerous state really.

The fellowships on campus beyond religious connotations do really help with the balance required for interpersonal and certain soft skills. A lot of lives really get shaped or kept in shape through the duration of study, simply by association through fellowships. Not everyone is comfortable with the mode of worship or doctrines of orthodox churches/fellowship.

The school may have genuine reasons to revoke the fellowships, that will be for the fellowships to address. Basking at the decision negates the "go ye into the world and preach the gospel" mandate.

While we lampoon the bad eggs, we should remember there are several other genuine people who are fervently led to share the word.

I recall you once used to preach on Sundays on radio, while you say all sorts of prurient content all week long. The exuded oxymoron was quite baffling, but you were really never judged.

Stay true to the cause (flamboyance in Christianity); do not get carried away. Self destructs faster than missiles!

Everyone comes with a defect.

I have known my wife for about 2 decades and married for 8 years. We have had delays in childbirth (quite similar to your reasons), stayed apart for circa 4 years within the period, had our issues, but remained resolute to stay strong. Despite our issues and desire to leave many times (perhaps she must have felt same too sometimes), I still love her exceedingly.

I strongly believe that a marriage that is not physically abusive can be salvaged.

In general, I think the traffic management and improvement exercise executed by the preceding governments of Lagos State, and the recent enhancement by the new administration is very laudable.

The new Ozumba Mbadiwe - Falomo bridge ramp and the Lekki Ikoyi Link bridge are ingenious solutions worthy of global commendation. We may be startled at the supposed construction costs, and there may be some untoward environmental impact (congestion within a major residential area, Lekki Phase) but we are happy beneficiaries of these urban renewal activities in addition to the revamped roads.

10 years ago, Arc. Bamidele O. Samson the husband was primarily consumed with making Architectural (physical) models. We engaged his services at the time. I remember visiting his large compund and sighting quite a number of very old defunct cars reminiscent of his success as an astute Architect in the 80s. N500k was quite a significant sum to him at the time. He ensured every kobo due was paid promptly.

Few years after, I noticed his company had ventured into downstream oil and gas. I was stunned to find out it was the same BOVAS. The process leading to the paradigm shift, I can't tell. Perhaps his sagacious wife, Mrs V. A. Samson who had excelled as a staff in the oil & gas industry drove the success factor.

However, I am very convinced of his integrity. I think his company was one of the few that emerged unscathed during the (scuttled) subsidy scam assessment under the last administration.

I will love to meet Chief Obasanjo before the Lord takes him.

I think he is narcissistic, egotistic, egoistic and self absorbed.

Nonetheless, he seems to be very witty and a maverick of lots...

I think polygamy should be legalized. The patterns keep drawing same lines.

I think women should be allowed to willingly fall in love again, leave an unfulfilling marriage for another.

Lastly, I think marriage should have a 5 years tenor. Every couple who intend to continue should statutorily renew their vows.

But for the offsprings, all of the above would have been splendid options to ameliorate the ills of marriage!
