you can’t get residence visa directly from 9ja, unless your uncle is processing employment visa for you which valid for 2 months, after arriving UAE , you go for medical test, if you pass the test , then the visa would be converted to either 2 or 3 years residency

Employment visa is free, company pays for everything since you will be working under them.

But if you don’t want to work for the company but you want them to sponsor your residency, that’s when you pay 8k to 15k aed depending on the job title/package (not all company does that)

Better know what your uncle is processing for you, meanwhile nothing like uncle, in-law, cousin etc in UAE cos all man eye dey red

I have an uncle who works in Dubai as a medical doctor for some years now.
He has now given me an opportunity to come over there to explore and find opportunities. Accommodation and Feeding not a problem.

The thing is I'm not a job kind of person as most of what I've seen here are job hunting. I'm more of an industrial person. I take advantage by solving problems associated with where I find myself, and create a business through it.

I'm hoping that you guys already there could advise me accordingly.

I'd like to leave later in the year. Thanks!

Lol the opinion still hold dubai is not easy but with determination and God on ur side u will succeed, for residence visa it depends on who is doing it and what job position he is doing it with cleaning position is cheaper around 750k 800k , beta position cost more like cashier, sales rep, security cost more, this is my own side I personal did mine within 950k to 1.2m.

Leave shit hole, dubai is more shit hole for we africans, no beta job here, except u live a very bad life in naija if not brother remain in naija use ur 600k and start something, some people are been paid 900 here, there is no job here. If someone warn me I won't have come, there is practically no good life here believe me, u can start business with ur 600k and grow it. Most nigeria even other africans are regretting why they are here, I finaly secure a job in jabal Ali, the work na die. I wil not advice anybody I like to come here. I just get time to press phone now, I wonder when I will get such time.

The problem is not how expensive it's but from comment above people claiming they see people that does theirs for 1.3m and 1.5m is what am scared about to know who is actually right and to know if am on the right track . Between 8000 to 10000 aed you can have ur personal Residence, which is 2years

You can arrive on 3 months visit visa, then get a job and your employer will get you an employment visa (2 years) .


Some people call the employment visa, residence visa which is actually wrong.

Uae is not easy, I always said that is better to manage 500k in naija than using it for Dubai runs but it all depends on luck but generally is not worth it
