2. How many acres of regular native maize seeds does one need to cultivate to fill up a ponpon ?

Some regular native corn actually do better than all these hybrid Maize seeds. I have purchased corn seeds in the open market at Sabo in Ikorodu and my harvest was good. Both white and yellow maize seeds were purchased in derica measurements from an Igbo foodstuff seller. My harvest was okay. So, what are we saying?

While I totally understand what you're trying to say, your suggestion isn't going to work except by some miracle. Blessing and Adebola are 0% career 3 points shooters. They fair better on 2 point shooting, but it's difficult to see how that translates seeing the both averaged less than 4 shots per game.

If I would suggest a dark night I'll go with Tomi Taiwo since she can shoot beyond the arch. Elizabeth Balogun like you suggested is also a safe bet. Pallas also has to make some shots, finally Promise has to shoot less.

It is literally going to be WAR on Thursday against France. How many minutes did Adebola Adeyeye and Blessing Ejiofor spend on the court against Australia? We need at least 2 unknown players to rise up to the occasion on Thursday. I believe Coach Rena will be weighing up her options at the moment. I forgot about Tomi Taiwo completely. Yes, she can be the dark Knight, however she has to be quicker on her feet to launch 3 pointers. Tomi has to be faster in shooting on Thursday. As for Elizabeth Balogun, she is a dangerous player on her good days. She should be great on Thursday.

Against France, all eyes will be on Ezinne Kalu and Amy Okonkwo. The French defence and attack will focus on the two of them. This is when Rena should introduce a dark Knight to the game- Someone who is a good shooter who is relatively unknown in the team- someone like Adebola Adeyeye or Blessing Ejiofor to do the damage. Coach Rena has to coax the " Dark Knight " to shoot 3 pointers and two pointers at any opportunities she has. Someone like Elizabeth Balogun must rise up to the occasion that day.

Our defence has to be very tight against France on Thursday. We are literally playing against the whole of France on Thursday. Go, D'tigress.

I will watch the game later this weekend on YouTube. It was streamed live on YouTube. This will help me examine the performance of the new players. Dtigress won two quarters against the Germans. I hope Rena will start noticing the players who will not be going to Paris. Hmn.

Whatever happens at the Olympics, we need to get a great Coach for the Dtigress. Otis Hughley was not outstanding in his 2 years + he spent coaching a university team in the USA. Probably why he is taking the Senegal head coach position. There are some coaches in C or D leagues in the USA who can develop a program for Dtigresses and take them further than Otis did. Otis did a great job on the Dtigress though.

This is great, but still think we have a personnel problem. Do you know why the Michaela Onyenwere purported invitation fell through? Someone like her would have added a lot more to the team. Not inviting her is a big miss in my opinion.

Coach Rena Wakama and Abi Olajuwon are sufficient as Coaches for the Paris Olympic games. We have two guys helping out as assistant coaches too. I have a feeling that Dtigress will secure a shock victory against one of the teams in our group and put up a great performance against the other nations. And who knows? Nigeria might qualify from our group and progress to the next round. I believe we have some good players in the camp . Onyenwere is a future player for Dtigress. NBBF can get across to her after the Olympics.

Our former coach, Otis Hughley Jnr, has been appointed as the Coach of Senegal's women basketball squad. You can see why I was pushing for a better coach to be appointed for Dtigresses after the Olympics. Senegal under Otis Hughley will challenge Nigeria at the next women's Afrobasket in 2025 and also vie with Nigeria for a world cup slot going forward. Hmn.

Abi Olajuwon has joined the Dtigress coaching staff for the 2024 Olympics. Abisola Olajuwon is an assistant coach with a WNBA team. Good move by the NBBF. I hope her dad, Hakeem Olajuwon, will pop into the Dtigress camp to encourage our ladies. Cheers.
