What is new in what he said, did we not hear it last year?
Faith comes by hearing. The Word is the food of faith. You need to eat to stay spiritually alive. Bokoharam, bad governance, the rat-race are the exercises that burn faith. Without the constant ingestion of the Word, spiritual death is certain.

Nothing like prophesy here. All i can see is wishful thinking from someone who want comfort his followers and cast hope in their mind. If he want me to take him serious, he should tell who will win 2015 election and with what margin.
Thank goodness you speak scripturally. Prophesies are indeed to comfort His children and give them hope. Do you want God's children weak and fearful so they cannot 'act out' the prophesies. What did you tell your kid as he faced the last exams. 'Son, I prophesy you will fail and come last since you watch too much cartoons'. Better hand over your kid to whom will speak and act positively in his life.

I'll also declare that the year 2015 would see all the men of God with private jets sell off their luxurious jets, and use the proceeds to build affordable houses for their church members!
It is the sincere desire of God that every believer builds his own house. In the kingdom of God there is equity. Every man has access to the store houses of God. The difference between one and the other is faith. So your prayer should not be for handouts but the revelation of the Word that triggers faith. Christians are not needy beggars by default.

Jesus Christ won't prophesy like this,he will prophesy tangible and coherent prophesies, e.g I declare that boko haram will enter ibadan and the military of Heaven will arrest them there, this is what I call prophesy!!
That is prediction not prophesy. Read your bible and get informed.

A soldier was given a three-day leave to attend to his newly wedded wife but on getting home, he realised that his wife was in her menstrual period.

So he decided to send a telegram to his headquarter to extend his leave but with his mother-in-law and other visitors around, he decided to code his message in the military way. This is what followed;

SOLDIER: Omega one, this is omega twelve, danger signal from the field, red alert in front, extend leave. Do you read me?! Red alert in front, extend leave.

HEADQUARTERS: Omega twelve, this is omega one, I read you loud and clear! Attack from the back, resume immediately! I repeat, attack from the back, resume immediately!

I believe like most Nigerians he did not understand the full import of the insurgency when it began and only reacted in the typical Nigerian manner with a default set of tribe and religion. Now he's moving closer to the centre and assuming more responsibility, he is bound to change. A lot will change of most leaders when they face the realities of governance. No one is ever absolutely prepared for what he will confront.

Na Jonathan cause the Niger-Delta crises. Jonathan will rule, leave power, grow to a good old age and pass away and the Niger-Delta problem will persist. You think those people will ever give up on their agitation in this Nigerian set up. You are mistaken.

grin Hahaha. Royal Tompolo Navy. Very soon he will be buying ballistic missile submarines from Russia then it will be over. What did I warn about the 'black' economy exceeding that of the whole country.

We have continued to undermine our institutions and rather promote 'strong men' instead. We are now in mortal danger and have to pray hard people like Tompolo wake up on the right side of bed everyday. Pity.

The interest rate given is annual not monthly, so the calculations are wrong.
N500,000 at 7% means N35,000 / year.
for 30days i.e 1 month it is N35,000/12 since 12 months make a year N2,916.67. At the end of 30days you have N502,916.67.
wink wink wink

No. I don't think the poster is absolutely correct about exactly how much accrues to you. The tenor is different from the rate. All interest is estimated P.A. Tenors can be 2 minutes for all they care.

It is understandably difficult to believe any Nigerian who has passed through the highest level of government, especially with the evidence we see around. But this man has made his assets public and our duty is not to stare in disbelief but to find evidence to the contrary to be sure the story is true. I am sure the DSS are equipped to sniff out this information on behalf of the government. The fact that DSS is still drawing a blank is either because the story is true or Buhari is super smart to hide the evidence successfully.

It will also be a tragedy to support someone you are certain will steal from you and encourage many others to help themselves to our collective patrimony.
He is more in touch with reality than you. He is not looking for a virgin in a maternity ward, you are. He sees in Buhari the ability to match the incumbent not distance himself. He understands the way democracy works, you don't. He wants to be responsible and a co-contributor to actualising his dreams, you want to hang all your dreams on the dodgy, fluid credentials of one man hoping he will whip your backside when you err.

Please, be a realist. You cannot remove corruption by decrees that jailed and hung people. How will you democratically convince even his party backers and loyalists to return theirs and then comit suicide.

I'm just getting fed up of the whole thing. Its becoming wierd. Leadership is so overrated. What is he going to do. We are not interested in his personality. Democracy doesn't work that way. Has he found out why Babangida was able to remove him without (figuratively) a shot being fired, without the popular revolt of the adoring public.

Look, Tafawa Balewa had far less in the treasury than Buhari. Did it or has it changed Nigeria. There is something about this country we are yet to grasp and I feel in excitement we are leaning too far out of the balcony.

Aaargh....not again. Mr. Buhari please, this election is not about you. Its about us. What you have or don't have, what you are or are not is inconsequential to us.

It is about how you will 'make us' less corrupt, less religious, less sectional. Because in Nigeria leadership is highly overrated. As a maxim leader previously you've tried it but it didn't stick. You were accused of 'over-sabi' on one side and double standards on the other. I'm not sure in 2015 we Nigerians are totally fed up with our corrupt, evil ways, so....

We may elect you but may not follow your ideals so what is the point of these ceaseless acts of piety. Just tell me how to stop me from my evil ways oh General.
