Architecture is mostly about drawing and sketches
Engineering is mostly about construction and structural implementation

If you are very good in mathematics, physics then go for civil engineering
If you're average but love drawing, go for architecture

Architecture enables you start up a firm with little capital after graduation
Civil engineering enables you get a top notch job after months or years of searching

Do what gives you joy and happiness

Just to add a few more points.
- Civil engineers have better job opportunities as more of them are needed in projects and industries (e.g. construction, oil & gas etc) compared to architects.
- As an engineer, it is much easier to cross to other professions like banking, accounting etc because of your solid background in mathematics. This helps in periods of lull in the construction industry.
- I have a few friends who entered the university to study architecture because they were very good in the sciences and maths. They were very disappointed to discover that architecture is more about drawing and fine art than mathematics and physics.
- You can however see some very successful architects in the society, but their number is very few and far in-between.

This is a very silly and extremely myopic idea. Especially coming from very high up place like. I wonder what his other ideas and suggestions to the government will look like.

I think Emefiele is a square peg in a round hole. Someone like him should only be in the private sector, not in a place like the CBN.

The level of development I have seen in Oyo state in Ajimobi's 4 years is more than what I've seen in more than 30 years, and im serious about this because Im very familiar with the state. However I hear from friends and family in the state that Ajimobi does not allow "stomach infrastructure" like Akala and the other previous governors did. One of my friends working in the ministry told me he has blocked off all their means of milking the state money and those corrupt people are not happy about it. In fact, he told me that the state does not pay for any road or infrastructure project until he personally inspects them and he's satisfied. I learnt he refused to pay for some shabbily constructed roads.

Go to Ogbomosho which is Akala's domain, the amount of road construction/constructed is far more than what Akala, their son did in his 5 years as governor and 4 years as deputy.

I am very happy that Ajimobi is re-elected because he's the sort of person we need to govern us in the state.

I am Yoruba, some of my very good friends are Ibo. Though we sometime have differences in the way we see national issues, but we still remain friends. We all know our boundaries in our relationship with each others. As the saying goes, "good fence makes good neighbours". I strongly believe we can coexist peacefully together.

Ajimobi all the way. The man has tremendously developed Oyo state in the 4 years he's been at the helm.

Amaechi did not say that the police fired at him. He said he was shot at. Instead of the police to carry out proper investigation and protect the life of the chief executive of the state, they quickly came out with a press statement. Do they think anybody ever believe what the police says?
