I'm yet to see any big deal with this. People should understand that having an offshore account or being in the Panama Papers is not a crime. It is only a problem if you are a politician using the account to hide assets. The last I know, Wale Tinubu is a businessman. I really don't see any smoking gun here.

If government didnt do anything, this is the same group of people that will condemn them. They will say the man was not compensated because he is not Hausa/Fulani, muslim or some useless reasons. Look, It is very common everywhere for any organisation to go an extra mile to try to relieve the pains of family that lost their primary bread winner while in service. Please check with many multinationals like Shell, Exxon Mobil etc and see the extent they can go in this type of issues. This family lost the father, the mother and a brother. Please let's be reasonable here.

how much do resident doctors in govt employment collect as salaries..i am sure it may not be up to what a 2nd leutanant gets.

the qualification and background needed to get the jobs are lesser than the requirements in many high profile jobs both in public and private sector that earns significantly less than them

what we should be talking about is a contributary life insurance for them, with the government paying a higher share..this should also apply to bankers and other high risk jobs

My friend, don't let anybody deceive you, Mechanical engineering has more prospects in Nigeria unless you want to teach in a secondary school. If you live in the developed world (US, Europe), then you might have a fighting chance with Mathematics. I will strongly suggest you go for Engineering.

Inspiring Sight Of Boy Taking Sisters To School In Lagos

I just want to share the inspiring sight I saw this morning on Ozumba Mbadiwe road, VI this morning on my way to the office. This boy of about 10 years old is leading his three sisters to the school. The boy had to carry the youngest one on his shoulder all the way. I am aware that the nearest school to this point where I took the picture is about 3km away.

I am so proud of this boy. Such a high sense of responsibility at a very young age. By the way, this is not an isolated occurence in Lagos. Boys like this are indeed the future hope of this nation if we are responsible enough to give them a helping hand.
