I've witnessed a husband who left his mad wife on the streets and remarry without doing anything about it. At my residence, there's this man who has mental issues. He has a big shop managed by his wife but he roams on the streets and sleeps outside in the colds while the wife flirt with almost all the men that she wants with the mad husband's money.

This your uncle has a special place in heaven. It's very rare for a man to put his life at debt risk over a full blown mad wife when there are so many women & in a society that permits polygamy. Concerning the matter of selling babies, if sold to another couple, there's nothing wrong there. However, if the baby was sold to trafickers or ritualists, that's when it's a crime. If the people could provide for themselves and the baby, they wouldn't have sold it at that price. The cost of caring for a baby right now is incredibly high as anything baby is super expensive. So, selling it to someone who can do a better job is fine by me. The baby deserve to live. 50k is a very big money for those couple. This is to tell you their level of poverty. They need help.
