It didn't make sense for her to continue being a member after her divorce. I guess she was constantly being emotionally tempted to go back to Bill Gates and couldn't take it any longer.

BusinessRe: Top Ten African Currencies Compared To US Dollar by RenaissanceGuy:
CodeTemplar:
Currency conversion ratio is of little significance when you consider that currencies can be adjusted.

For example, the Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) is the strongest currency in the world with a single Kuwaiti dinar buying $3.25 US dollars (or, put another way, one US dollar equals 0.31 Kuwaiti dinars) but can the Kuwaiti economy measure against USA or other advanced economies?
As a matter of fact, kuwaiti dinar was adjusted by taking away three zeros to make it the world's strongest. That's something anyone can do and become the worlds strongest currency but not necessarily the world strongest economy.

Money is a just a metric system that can change based on goods and service backing it or can be recalibrated to ease management of money system.
LOL. This is very incorrect. Kuwait removed 3 zeros from their currency?? Do you know how wealthy that country is? It's a lie; maybe you are referring to Ghana who did that about 18 years ago or thereabouts, not Kuwait. The dinar was 1 dinar to 1 pound in 1961; today it's 1 dinar to £2.6 —meaning more than 60 years later, it's now nearly 3 times more valuable than pounds while almost every other country's currency is below the pounds. Reason: Sensible leaders and crude oil.

You think even if Nigeria decides to revalue its currency against the dollar at the rate of ₦1 to $1, our naira would still not depreciate to ₦17/$ within months?? It's stability we're talking about, if not every country would simply do so and start boasting to have stronger currency than the US.

Dalohad:
Our yoruba Judges are terribly corrupt. See the way Justice Kekere-ekun a yoruba justice of the supreme court and her co-injustices, messed up Imo state, one of the most peaceful states, by foisting an unpopular candidate Uzodinma on the people.

Imo has known no peace since then.

Kekere-Ekun wherever you are, may you never know peace. The blood of all who have died as a result of your evil judgement in Imo state will continue to haunt you and your generations to come.

You will have a generation of imbeciles, and never-do-wells, who will squander all that you have ever worked for. And your legacy will die.. Ase.
Story story. The law is the law, no matter how unpopular you think it's. Why single out a single Justice as if she was the only one who voted to have Hope declared as winner?? You ended up exposing the fact that IPOB was terrorsing Imo state simply because PDP lost the case. Now that there's LP, they have shifted their allegiance to LP. Is a secessionist group supposed to be affiliated with any party, especially as none of these parties share their ideology for secession??

The school does not need to disclose the source code, You could access the compiled source code of any website by pressing the F12 key and selecting "View Source Code." Through this, He decoded the encoded employee data, revealing their details. All the information seen was already publicly accessible.

It's just like me clicking your username and viewing your password via the compiled source code which can be accessed publicly but it was still considered as "hacking" by the authorities in power, which was considered foolish by experts.

When individuals lacking understanding in certain fields hold positions of authority, you encounter nonsensical decisions like this becoming law.

This is why the term hacking can vary based on country laws
Please stop all these stories. That's not hacking; that's simply unauthorized access.

The levy is 0.005 without the act adding %. There is no where in the act where the levy was said to be 0.5%. If the law say 0.005 is the levy, it should not be misinterpreted to mean 0.5%. The only reasonable interpretation is 0.005%.
You didn't do basic mathematics in school??

0.5% means 0.5/100, which is the same as 0.005 of whatever amount that is in question.

When will Nigeria organize a Nigeria-North America or a Nigeria-Europe Business Summit?? One "yeye" country will throw an invitation to all African countries and then pack them into a 2x2 hall in the name of a business summit, all for crumbs. Shaaaaaaaaaaaame. Africa should arise from these ashes of chasing after foreign investment and learn to build our country ourselves, like South Korea, Malaysia, China, Algeria, etc, did.

MODIFIED.

MrBrownJay1:
China never compared themselves to the US or Europe.. thats why they made laws to have fewer children for their citizens (for decades) or focussed all their ressources on bettering the life of its citizen. thats what COMMUNISM has done for China. in china, every cent that enters the country's coffer is used towards the country while in Nigeria.... oh well!
You mean you don't understand what I mean by "compare"? Like saying "If this country can do it, we too can". China intentionally sponsored and still sponsors their citizens to the US and Europe to study technology , so that they can localize and even do it better than the original inventors/innovators.
PoliticsRe: Whites Want To Colonize Africa Again. by RenaissanceGuy: 9:03pm On Apr 28, 2024
MrBrownJay1:
you see the above is your mistake... trying to compare Nigeria with China, or better yet with any oil producing countries with 3m citizen, 9m citizen and/or 30m citizen, is the reason why you will always fail on this issue.

there are a lot of problems with Nigeria/Africa YES, but that doesnt change the fact that the west is robbing Nigeria blind.

you cant possibly advance when you have puppets gov (being controlled by the west), signing unfair contracts that only benefits the west and that monkey (and his family) who signed that contract
OK, population size is also the reason Bayelsa the least populated state in Nigeria and receiver of humongous monthly oil proceeds has nothing to show for or?? Why shouldn't I compare ourself with China? If China hadn't compared them self with US or Europe, they would have still been stuck with poverty and console themselves that their extremely large population size is to blame. A 1 million people irresponsible African country making as much money like Nigeria is making would still be poor for any reasons or excuses they can come with.

Very naïve question.

It starts by France using its leverage to ensure that a particular compromised leader gets to power, in Niger’s case, that Arab ex-president.

You don’t even know how these things operate, yet you are full of opinion.

PoliticsRe: Whites Want To Colonize Africa Again. by RenaissanceGuy: 8:32pm On Apr 28, 2024
MrBrownJay1:
YES o, that is exactly what is happening.... they use the Franc CFA and blackmail to have these countries sign yeye contracts (at penny for the dollar) for their natural ressources.,, and when they cant do that, they just use various terrorist group (that they create) to destabilize the country, so that they can enter through the back door and get the natural ressources they desire for free (under some yeye "we helped you get rid of the terrorist, now you help us get cheaper natural ressources" type deal)"

i fully disagree. many countries out there dont manufacture anything and yet are doing pretty well. we cant compare countries but let me help you understand something very simple (about how the west function).
you see, they first work in the back ground to destabilize a gov that is not favorable to them (by arming guerillas and terrorists) then they will use fraud to get their puppet of choice elected, then they will now use that same puppets to make laws and sign decade long contracts that are only favorable to the west (and thereafter throw a thank you banana at that monkey you guys call presido)
case in point: President Tinubu settled a decade long lawsuit that the Nigerian gov had against SHELL/ENI (about oil prospecting licenses)... and mysteriously, after Tinubu put his children in charge of a company called Oando Plc, that company now own all the onshore assets of Eni (Eni, the exact same company and assets that the Nigerian company had a lawsuit against). if this isnt the biggest corrupt move, then what is CORRUPTION really?!

so yes, the African governments are to blame for allowing these western nations to rob Africa blind of its natural ressources, but then again, thats what they have been doing for the last +60yrs.
All these excuses are not tenable. This same West never wanted China to rise, but China rose nonetheless - through hard work and resilience. Is the West also responsible for our inability to use the trillions of dollars we've made from oil to make our country look like Saudi,Qatar, UAE have done??

educate yourself on France paying only 10% of the value of the Niger Uranium that they are forced to import to France (why do you think France was so adamant in staying in Niger/Mali etc and/or destabilize the region?)... and although these commercial agreements would still be in place decades after France has been thrown out of the country (through that last coup), these are commercial structures that are in place since the last century and will be there for decades to come...

or better yet, educate yourself on why companies such as Mars, Mondelēz, Nestlé, Ferrero, Hershey's and Lindt & Sprüngl can get such a low price for cocoa that they thereafter sell for so much? or you think African Framers in Ivory coast want to get peanuts for their cocoa beans, abi?

or better yet, educate yourself on how the French Giant group BOLLORE was able to get his hands on the control of various African port...

or better yet, do you think there is any Congolese companies defrauding the country of its mineral ressources (such as cobalt)?! or dont you understand that foreign companies are fuelling the local conflict in order to continue getting their hands on the Congolese natural ressources of all kind.... companies such Bangkok-based THAISARCO (a subsidiary of British metals group AMC), UK-based Afrimex, and Belgium-based Trademet.
You mean France put gun on the head of Niger and said this is the price they must sell their uranium to them, that's if your claim is even true in the first place??

What you don't seem to acknowledge is that Africa's underdevelopment is largely self-inflicted. Even the simplest of agriculture, we can't feed ourselves - we pack billions of dollars every year to import food from Europe, Asia and the Americas. Ordinary TV we can't manufacture. Until Africa copies from China and begin an industrializelation revolution, we'll continue to blame the Europeans. Let's break away from that excuse, like countries such as China, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, did, building prosperity for their citizens.
