PoliticsRe: Whites Want To Colonize Africa Again. by RenaissanceGuy: 7:02pm On Apr 28, 2024
MrBrownJay1:
you mean they want Africans to go back home to Africa, after they have robbed Africa blind of their natural ressources?! BWAAAAAAH!
it will never happen. Africans are going to the west by fire or by force.
BTW whites never left Africa, to begin with!
When are you people going to let go of this so-called "White stole Africa's natural resources" propaganda?? Mention 1 African nation whose natural resources were stolen and there's nothing left. Africa's problem has only been that they don't know how to process their mineral resources to finished products and use it to create prosperity for themselves. What have we done with the 100s of billions of barrels of crude oil we've taken from the ground? Nothing. The untapped gold, uranium, tin, columbite, etc, we have in Nigeria - what have we done with them? Nothing. We're waiting for foreign investors to come and help us mine them and pay us peanut change.

You're right. Instead of him to keep on chasing yahoo boys and girls like your fellow northerner past EFCC chairmen, he has decided to take on the big polithiefcians.

Why are they not affecting other nations' currency? Why naira?
How do you know it's not?? Did you know that the reason cryptocurrency is so heavily monitored by govts all over the world is the fact that it can cripple the traditional money and by extension the economy in a very short period of time??

BusinessRe: US Seeks 3 Years Prison Term For Binance Founder, Changpeng Zhao by RenaissanceGuy: 10:08am On Apr 25, 2024
seunmsg:
Americans are just jealous and scared of CZ’s success. His only crime is his Chinese ancestry and nothing else. If he’s an American, they would be celebrating him today. The mistakes of the initial days of Binance has been rectified and he has paid billions in fine already after cooperating with regulatory authorities over the years. Why ask for double the normal prison term for him?
The court should reject the request and place him on probation. He’s no threat to the society in anyway and he’s even stepped down as CEO of Binance. Enough of the witch hunt.
Very true. Just the same way they celebrated Sam Bankman-fried by sentencing him to 25 years in jail.
FamilyRe: Some People Are IngrATES. by RenaissanceGuy: 9:47pm On Apr 24, 2024
MrBrownJay1:
yeye people back home who believe that money grows on trees in the west, thus will look down on anything you send them.

i once gave a beggar in the US some coins and that yeye olodo looked at me as if to say that this was not enough... then he said something like:" the minimum to give is a 1dollar note bla bla bla". i said:"no worries, give me back the coins so i will give more"... and when he gave me back the coins, i just walked away.
You ended up contradicting yourself because after blasting "yeye people" in Nigeria, you now told us same thing happened to you in the US.

Emu4life:
During Yar'adua's regime Reserves was $64bn
Your own figure might be accurate or closer, because I just checked now and saw that we were at $53.1B in 2008.
Foreign AffairsRe: External Foriegn Reserves By Country As At 1st March 2024 by RenaissanceGuy:
The correct figure is $32b. During Yar'Adua'a tenure, I remember hearing in the news that Nigeria's forex reserve was around $40b+. It's 17 years later and instead of us to be around $80b+, we're now down to $32b+.
Jorussia:
it was almost $70b when obj left office. As at when GEJ left it was $28b or so.
Lie. Though it's true that Obasanjo grew it exponentially from $5b, but it was $43b he left it at, not $70b. Jonathan massively depleted it with nothing to show for it.

Procashtips:
You're now quoting the same Aboki FX govt said is manipulating naira rate?
Are you serious?
On forbes website ₦1,297.

What happened to CBN official website rate and the official parallel market website called the IAI? You're time waster.
Check the CBN's website yourself nah, because I just did and it showed the CBN rate on Aboki FX is correct. gringrin
BusinessRe: Dollar Rise: EFCC Continues Crackdown On Cryptocurrency Platforms, Others by RenaissanceGuy: 10:32am On Apr 22, 2024
Procashtips:
I won't be replying you again until you show us the official rate for today (We have parallel market rate which CBN monitors and CBN rate).
Post both of them here, let's compare.
Stick to the above and stop speculating what you can easily tell us.
Why not check it out yourself and then use it to buttress your point if you're so sure your defense is valid?? Or CBN.gov.ng and Abokifx.com are not working on your phone??
BusinessRe: Dollar Rise: EFCC Continues Crackdown On Cryptocurrency Platforms, Others by RenaissanceGuy: 10:17am On Apr 22, 2024
Procashtips:
Again, stop speculating.
Tell us the official price for dollar and the open market price today

Then compare to ₦1,231 it's on Bybit, let's see the difference.
There has never been a time the difference in prices on P2P has been more than ₦10 on whatever platform.Minimum can be ₦1231 and maximum at ₦1241.
Off course, those with higher rate end up reducing theirs when no one comes to them for a long time.
Stop calling fact "speculation". On Aboki FX, it says CBN's rate is 1161 while your Bybit says 1231. Is that not a huge N70 difference?? Or are you saying N70 difference is a small amount??
BusinessRe: Dollar Rise: EFCC Continues Crackdown On Cryptocurrency Platforms, Others by RenaissanceGuy: 10:07am On Apr 22, 2024
Procashtips:
No, they don't add "100" every day. I only said the difference hardly get to ₦100.
When you checked, did you see any difference up to ₦100?

Rate is currently ₦1,231 on one of the platforms.
Tell us the official rate on CBN and the free market rate (parallel IEA market)
₦5 is a lot of money in the world of currency trading; I hope you know that or I should break it down for you?? But here, you're probably referring to something around N60-N80 as if it's a small difference.

And secondly, was it not price-fixing that took it ₦1,231 when it should be around ₦950 by now, judging by naira'a upward trend since the past 7 weeks??
BusinessRe: Dollar Rise: EFCC Continues Crackdown On Cryptocurrency Platforms, Others by RenaissanceGuy: 10:01am On Apr 22, 2024
Procashtips:
You obviously don't know P2P.
It's just bdc in a digital form grin grin grin grin
Of course, it's. In a P2P trading, different sellers quote their respective selling prices and a buyer chooses the one that's cheapest. If I decide to form a cabal with up to 100 other sellers to quote my USDT at N800 whereas its current price is N750, in a very short time, people would have no choice but to start buying at that price. And then, we rinse and repeat, till it gets N1,950 which was where it was around the 3rd week of February. So between you and I, which of us doesn't understand how P2P work??
BusinessRe: Dollar Rise: EFCC Continues Crackdown On Cryptocurrency Platforms, Others by RenaissanceGuy: 9:50am On Apr 22, 2024
Procashtips:
Again, you're assuming and speculating. Speculation is what you're doing now.

I advised you by even asking you to do an experiment, you ignored it only to keep assuming.

P2P on whatever platform don't fix price outside what's obtainable on the offline FX market. The difference is always below ₦100.

Go and check what I told you earlier before replying me.

Take this from someone in the system who lectures and mentor people in the aforementioned markets.
OK, when they keep on adding a "difference below ₦100" everyday or three days intervals, won't it consequently double or triple the rate in a very short time, like it happened between last year and February this year??
BusinessRe: Dollar Rise: EFCC Continues Crackdown On Cryptocurrency Platforms, Others by RenaissanceGuy: 9:47am On Apr 22, 2024
Procashtips:
Forming a ring?
How?
Do you understand P2P at all? grin grin grin
Do you understand what pump and dump is, in cryptocurrency??
BusinessRe: Dollar Rise: EFCC Continues Crackdown On Cryptocurrency Platforms, Others by RenaissanceGuy: 9:23am On Apr 22, 2024
Procashtips:
Do you understand what you're saying at all?

You actually believe there's any widespread currency manipulation on P2P?

P2p use the actual price of FX in the real market to fix what they charge online.

The difference most time is not even up to ₦100.
Do yourself a favor.
Check the official rate on CBN and parallel markets, then visit any of the platforms and check out the difference. Do not let anyone deceive you.
Educate yourself.
How can only p2p Which isn't even possible without the use or local banks determine what the rate of the physical exchange rate would be?

Are you saying the above is not same outside Nigeria?
If no, how come and why is Nigerian govt not using their own templates?
If those didn't blame the failure of their economies on cryptocurrency platforms, why Nigeria?
Do you know what it means to bet against a currency or fix price?? In some cases, they could bet against it without having to actually manipulate it, but in other cases, the bettors could go ahead to form a cabal to fix a secret sell-price. Are you conversant with how cryptocurrency trading work??
PoliticsRe: Igboho, Akintoye Write Tinubu, Demand Yoruba Exit From Nigeria by RenaissanceGuy:
I'm hoping Nigeria breaks up within the next 4 years, peacefully. Because that appears to be the only gateway to peace and prosperity for the different regions. In a monoethnic nation of Hausa, nobody will scream tribal persecution when Ali Hamza is arrested for corruption. Same for Igbo, Yoruba, Ijaw, etc. Let's be like Europe. The very reason former Yugoslavia split into at least 6 countries.
