A tribal section should be created to take care of the tribal collision between the East and the West. I was hoping to see a fellow Nigerian who has made us proud only to see certain comments already trying to capture the soul of this thread in the usual Ayebe' way. When will this boring nonsense stop? The agitation for restructuring should be extended to this forum. All the same, congratulations doctor. |
Cekpo34:His supporters are rejoicing o This is a sign that appointments are just being made without any check conducted |
Yoruba women get bum pass these ones na... The last one be like boil wey wan burst |
The Nigerian Senate may be the most useless body known to man. What is Ben Bruce even saying? A bigger assignment is waiting for them, he is talking about holding a meeting upon the return of Buhari. Maybe the ones in Abuja house London are not just enough Impeach this man to help him please!! |
Rizstar:You don't have regard for decorum and decency. I'm sure you know you cannot look at me and tell me to shut up. What is my business whether people somewhere don't believe in Jesus.....that is their choice. The man said Jesus is a Greek Idol, that is what elicited my response. I only meant to draw attention to the fact that the man cannot rewrite history after having encounter with strange spirits..... Please learn to control your tongue and your fingers. Thanks and good morning |
I'm yet to understand this technically defeated phrase....what is technically defeated? Is it a Nigeria Military addition to English language |
PapaBrowne:God bless you for the above I have special love for people that think and even more for those that separate themselves from what they say. Intellectual angle is seriously lacking in this agitation. I wonder if the northerners decide to go dark, what will be the fate of the millions of innocent Ibos over there. Nnamdi Kanu should go back to the drawing board. He needs to expand his horizon. I'm beginning to think Kanu did not envision this new dimension this agitation has taken. The thing started like play.....he must be thinking now |
Aura2:Straight from my head.... Good morning |
The only sensible thing in the song is where it said, let us divide the country and see who will cry...... I think somebody is already crying with this song. |
Faulty analogy in my opinion. Why is everybody demonizing the north. Will the death of the north automatically end our problems? People now easily forget the evil the man from Aba, Ogbomoso, Yenagoa, Auchi, Ikot-Ikpene is doing in the country. Is injustice limited to the north? Is nepotism birthed in the north? It will surprise many to know that the pillars holding the supposed northern hegemony is mounted by people of southern extraction. In as much as in my opinion the north is notoriously known for being arrogant, greedy and domineering, people should take a break and also look at the contributions of the south in compounding our current problems. People should take a look at the days that preceded our independence to decide for themselves whether the north forcefully took the driver's seat or the south handed it to them..... |
This dude is smoking dry plantain leaf. Why not concentrate on promoting the idol he worships rather than insult other peoples beliefs.... Jesus a Greek man..... ![]() Only this guy need Biafra |
He is only enjoying his night with his wife. Where and when is he suppose to hold the tip if not in the night? Abi make e hold am for Aso Rock? I know some people would want to say its like you did not do comprehension..... ![]() The wife's face though......its like she is gradually passing out |
Finfadei:Congratulations Democracy is presently regarded by almost all countries of the world as the best form of government due to the obvious fact that the system allows for equal participation of the people in running the affairs of the state. Sadly, our own democratic experience here in Nigeria is a clear departure from the purpose which democracy is meant to serve. Like the popular saying, where there is smoke there is fire, where a state is in existence there is government. Likewise, where there is government, there is politics and power. The power in a democratic system is designed to be exercised by the people, either by themselves or through representatives periodically elected by them. Again, democracy is not just a system of political administration but a way of life where the dignity of the human person is respected. The benefits of the system are captured in what scholars describe as dividends of democracy such as; popular participation, equal opportunities for all, rule of law, freedom of choice, freedom of expression and of the press, justice for all, respect for and promotion of fundamental rights etc. Sadly, all the above templates are lacking in our democratic system, hence the believe that infrastructural development like roads, electricity, hospitals etc are the dividends of democracy in the understanding of our political actors in Nigeria. Lets even assume this assertion by our leaders over here is correct. Then, what do we make of the fact that it is the military in Nigeria that is responsible for two-third of the infrastructural development in the country. Do we now call road construction, electricity, hospitals, schools as done by the Nigerian military dividends of military rule? Or dividends of democratic military rule? Until when these values are properly understood and propagated, Nigeria will continue to go after the shadow of democracy. At this point of our national life, citizens should no longer see themselves as spectators in our national project but active and major stakeholders in making the system work.... Comprehensive and compulsory political education should be encouraged among the people. There should be transparency in the conduct of governance, for democracy cannot thrive in an atmosphere of secrecy and ignorance. . . . . to be continued . . . |
Afonjastinks1:Where did U see a rotten elephant |
Boring comments |
Some Yorubas are missing too? Na wa o |
Beautiful lady but the breasts look offensive though |
Whatever rocks her boat. Good luck to her |
Happy New Month to all Nairalanders... Happy New Month specially to 2dugged. May this month open the flood gates of success to fulfil all your heart desires Happy New Month to President Buhari |
t00dugged:My dear, its like that o |
Inanna:Men are not scum, it is this one that's scum. What a shameful act from both of them..... The girl's story of how she slept off in the sitting room unclad is not very convincing to me. She slept so deep in the afternoon to the point she could not hear the sound of someone opening the door, especially when she is sleeping unclad. They are equal partners in this mess |
I'm a christian because Christ is pure and true. His teachings made me compassionate, and above all, there is freedom in his presence. When you surrender to Jesus, your liberty is guaranteed |
IamaNigerianGuy:Thank you for your lucid perspective of current political intrigues in the country. In all these, Buhari may be the biggest loser. While other political actors are trying to caress power, President Buhari is trying to caress death, with his continuous stay in office. If the game plan is to keep him in office whether by hook or crook till 2019, which I believe it is, Buhari cannot hide from the myriads of problems facing the country which regrettably he does not even have the answers to. Buhari presently is like a new wife whose parents bragged to their inlaws about her cooking skills in the kitchen. Sadly, the inlaws got to find out that their new wife could not only cook, but could not even identify a box of matches to make fire in the kitchen. The coming days will determine whether Osinbajo is presidential, or just a mechanic who is called in to fix the problem after a reckless drive by the driver..... God bless Nigeria, or whatever our current name is... |
MrSly:Please, try to go several layers beneath the write up in order to understand the perspective, and try to separate yourself from what you write. My write up is not a campaign for one Nigeria neither is it a compaign for disintegration of the country. I clearly stated that there are underlying factors responsible for the brouhaha which needs to be treated, mostly widespread injustice. From your submission I can deduce that you're an apostle of burst. But the question I want to ask is, the issues I raised in my earlier comment, are they not happening where you are? Is there no injustice, selective morality, indelible corruption in Biafra land? My brother, until these issues are addressed at the lowest level, we'll continue to dance same dance. Lastly, I want to believe I'm not part of those youths you weep for..... |
buchilino:Thank you sir |
Maybe she made him a director of something too.... Dickson, one of the dumbest governors in the world. He should go and serve in the North Korean military..... |
I am still waiting for the day somebody will furnish me with details of the genesis of the Yorubas and Igbos contest especially here. Why they see themselves as two sides of the same coin, that one group must win and the other should lose. I think intellectual barrenness is responsible for this.....I hope to be proven otherwise |
Yyeske:@bold, was he ever in control? Osinbajo is just a wise man trying to delay the impending danger with the hope that his good efforts will bring redemption. I think leaving Kanu to dance is better than stopping the music which in my opinion is responsible for this whole madness. In doing this, the FG should try as much as possible to defuse the situation by using strong calculated means to get all parties to see the bigger picture. As long as the underlying factors are yet to be looked at, like widespread injustice in the country, disregard for law, different levels of morality for different people..... people, groups will continue to feed from it. The country should not start a fire it clearly cannot control the burn. These Northern groups are arrogantly insensitive and irresponsible for trying hard to box the government to a corner. What makes them different from Kanu when they can give quit notice to their compatriots |
The military chief left the NE before ?I thought the president ordered him to remain there until Boko Haram is subdued during his inaugural speech.....good luck to him and his boys, and may God grant them victory. |
