eyinjuege:
Some of the men on here even pray to be raped till they pass out.
Its really sad how men don't seem to care.

Why don't you leave feminists out of this, and speak against the violation of men when raped?
Why not condemn female rapists?
Why not condemn those men who are advocating for their own rape and even pray to be violated by women?
Yet, its feminists who are minding their own business and advocating for what directly concerns them you chose to pour blames on here.
I feel you're looking in the wrong direction, misplaced priorities I would say. No woman has come on here so far to laugh about the rape of this man, or even trivialise it. But some men have, why not face them
@bold
It's lack of proper and comprehensive education.

It's appalling

You sir, have spoken very well.

I wonder the kind of men we have today. Can you imagine people calling the guy a "lucky bastard" for being raped? Do you see how guys are calling him weak and generally happy that he got "fed" with 3 pussys?

Sometimes I don't understand the way people think.
Its lack of proper education.
Why would a sane grown up man pray to be banged by a band of girls against his own will?

It is this mentality of some that most women today now look at men from their pussies rather than their heads.
Its very appalling

I'm surprised no one is saying cut their clitoris, or hang the vagina and club it.

Men now facing threats from everywhere but no one seem to care.
Like what someone once said, the whole world is campaigning for the rights of the girl child, from education, to gender, equal opportunities in governance etc.
The boy child will always grow up to be neglected, and will bomb us all for being so.

It is not ideal to force people to participate in something they don't believe in.
Doing that will be an insult to the whole process.

A particular group of people want to observe something they hold dear, we should just let them be.

PoliticsRe: Democracy Day Speech By Yemi Osinbajo, The Acting President by ReubenE(m): 8:42am On May 29, 2017
Incompetence is smelling all over the speech.
Lemme not waste my time talking about it since all what he said are familiar and expected things, from using the first one year to clear the mess they inherited, to the so many, we will.....above all, two things caught my attention.

First, he said hope, I really don't understand what he meant by Hope. The word hope is not a very good thing to hold unto in Nigeria. How do we hope when those who swore to protect us end up killing us?
How do we hope when those who promised to make our lives better are so resolute in making our lives worse?
How do we hope when some of us die in our sleep without knowing the offence we committed? From herdsmen to Baddo.....hope has a different meaning in Nigeria.

Secondly, did he say Nigeria is on a journey to greatness? I don't think so, and certainly not with them running the affairs of the country.

And if our government does not get their act in probably the next 5-10 years does it mean we're doomed? It's in this same Nigeria that people have looked for how to solve some problems and instantly received grant, funding etc for their ideas. I have a friend that recently went for an interview, not for a job but for an investor.

While we carry out our civic duties and try to elect the right people, we cannot sit with our hands folded and cry for jobs.
You are not getting my angle.
It's not about folding hands and crying for jobs.
What I am saying is, this do something for yourself jingle is almost giving Nigerians amnesia i.e most people forgetting that government owe them a duty to make things right, and what they must do as individuals to make government do the right thing.

Don't you think the time and resources invested on doing something for yourself jingles is put into political education of the citizenry, maybe things would have been better?

When government fails to do the right thing, my business will be affected, exactly what it is right now.
Now you see why I complain.

Political education is better than the current noise because we already understand why we need to do something for ourselves.

NaijaMutant:
I really want to know the yardstick for measuring Osinbajo as being efficient and capable of presiding over the affairs of Nigeria.

What does Nigerians want in a president?

is it by honouring invitations and travelling up-and-down - then Buhari would be Nigeria's best president

Is it by media stunts, going to market and identifying with the masses - then Fayose would be the best president Nigeria never had

is it by eloquence of speech - then FFK should also stand a chance and posterity will surely punish Nigerians for not giving Gani Fawehinmi a chance

what other index do his praise singer use in measuring his performance.

Here are the real indices beyond media hype and propaganda:

A man who was the head of an economic team that crashed a once buoyant economy into recession is simply not good enough.

A man who still takes orders from a godfather at bourdillion is not good enough

A man who is being controlled by cabals is still not good enough

A man who has not shown any intent to fight corruption since he himself is a progeny of corruption by alignment with his Godfather Tinubu is just not good enough

A man who recently named among those who subverted justice by shielding Emir Sanusi from probe is totally not good enough.

Quote me with a superior logic and I will honour you with a response.

Thanks
Thank you...
With the above, there is still hope for the Nigerian state to fulfil her purpose.

Until Nigerians identify what they truly want from our leaders, the country will continue to move back and forth.

The day it became apparent to me that most Nigerians don't really know what they want was when they hailed President Yar'adua for criticising the process that brought him to power, yet did not resign.
Most Nigerians see him as honest and transparent man, not knowing that the man only told them what they wanted to hear. Till this day, people still make reference to that statement.

Talking about Osinbajo, the man equally responsible for our present misery as a nation, went to the market and everyone suddenly forgot their misery, frustration, their losses. In response to his presence in the market, they clapped, there was dancing etc hmm...fantastic Nigerians.

Doing business is not all about selling. It could also be about providing of service.
I understand that very well but the noise about doing business is becoming something else.
Looking at it from a holistic point of view, it's as if Nigerians have accepted the failure of the Nigerian state to cater for her people. Therefore everyone should look for how to survive even in areas they have no good knowledge and the required skill to succeed.

I am very sure if Albert Einstein was a Nigerian, he would have been forced to set up poultry farm or print recharge cards.
My brother, business is not for everybody I say again, and not everybody that will succeed in business.

In the words of Aristotle, he said an individual can only live the good life in the polis (state). This means that Nigerians will continue to move back and forth until the government do the right thing.

How about Saraki leaving the Senate to go into snail farming or graphics designing?
Nigeria must work before we can talk about business....

This old man should sit down somewhere already.
Boko Haram started and became what it is today because of the wickedness, devilish and evil stance of Obasanjo and his friends to keep the masses perpetually poor and ignorant.

People like this man and his friends being resource persons despite their unparalleled failure is an harbinger that all is not well with Nigeria, and it equally portends danger for Nigeria moving forward as a nation.

I am afraid to reveal too much on this issue but let me tell you this, the kidnap was not planned by opposition but later used by them. Don't ask me how I knew this cos I won't say but Mossad, the well known Isreali police at a stage was going to get all the girls released but due to religion bigotry ( you know mossad and muslims don't mix ) it was stopped.

On Boko haram the fact of the matter is, GEJ could have done alot but deliberately let things linger. On the girls, he assumed and that let us here. Everyone including the current government new those doing this and it includes an ex president of this nation.
I very much agree with you.
I am not of the school that the kidnap did not take place. My own opinion is that the then opposition elements facilitated the process.
There are too many loose ends to ignore.

Jonathan, and many other actors I believe know about the conspiracy...but of course, feigning ignorance is our culture here.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians React To The Release Of 82 Chibok Girls by ReubenE(m):
abescom:
Some of them are just talking trash. Let's assume the girls were not taken by any bokoharam and were just kept somewhere or that Boko haram actually took them but it was all planned by perpetrators of evil which to be honest is quite possible. But the question is :

1. Why wasn't Jonathan with all the power he had in the land while he was president not able to unravel the mystery and free the girls? Note that he had the support of all the army, police, airforce, navy, all intelligence departments, the CBN, the majority at the upper and lower chamber, the sympathy of Nigerians who wanted the girls released, the sympathy of the parents of the girls who would not have minded he shaming whoever are involved.

2. Why did Jonathan and his government claim there was no such kidnap only to come out 48 hours later to say they have the situation under control. If there was no kidnap, why the change of tone?

3. Could Nigeria's evil politicians have successfully fooled the whole world? Note, not a single intelligence department the world over has claimed there was no kidnap by Boko haram or that it was planned? Do we have more intelligence than Russia? The UK? The USA? China? Isreal and co? You may say USA wasn't supporting the GEJ government but he had ample support from China and Russia? If it was fake or planned how come none of these countries haven't said so so far?

3. BBC and many other media houses have had journalists ( I personally met one at BBC road at Ikoyi he and myself came for an interview with D1 of Kennis music unfortunately I can't share what I heard on here) doing their investigative work but none has been able to come up with your type of truth. They all must hate GEJ then?

I await your reply but off course I know no genuine thing will be said to this posers.
I quite agree with your opinion that the kidnap took place, judging from the questions you raised.
But unfolding events has given me a reason to believe there was a conspiracy. We cannot just rule out the leprous finger of the then opposition in the whole saga, the role played by Governor Shettima when he said he thought the president ought to have heard about the kidnap in the early hours, hence his decision not to inform him. The role played by the principal of the school where she could not provide the manifest of the students that registered for that particular exam, the inability of most of the students to read simple English, the kidnappers loading hundreds of students in a truck(s) and driving for kilometres without resistance from anywhere, the list goes on.
My brother, there is every reason for Thomas to doubt this.

For sometime now, Boko Haram has been resolute in killing our people, including soldiers. It begs the question, how come a government is negotiating for the release of a massive number of kidnapped victims, at the same time the kidnapper is so stern on killing more people? Isn't that acting from two opposing directions?
Secondly, the military recently claimed to have bombed Shekau, the supposed leader of the kidnap group, isn't that enough to have called off any negotiation that was already set in motion? Or are the girls no longer in the custody of the dreaded Shekau? I only but wonder.

I am not trying to make a case for Jonathan. I am not his sympathiser. Jonathan was just too slow to confront those that confronted him.
Lastly, the international community you mentioned, with specific reference to China, Russia, Uk.... They couldn't have done more than what the Nigerian state permitted them to do. Remember, the Uk government said they know where the girls are. Where they able to rescue them? Your guess is as good as mine.

All the super powers you mentioned are notorious when it comes to foreign policy especially when a weak country is involved.
They are still blaming themselves whether the Syrian chemical attack was staged or not, Sputnik Russian state media just apologized to Al Jazeera for falsely accusing them.

These countries can do anything, and that includes APC
