eyinjuege:@bold It's lack of proper and comprehensive education. It's appalling |
Anaskie:Thank you |
Arsenalholic1:Its lack of proper education. Why would a sane grown up man pray to be banged by a band of girls against his own will? It is this mentality of some that most women today now look at men from their pussies rather than their heads. Its very appalling |
I'm surprised no one is saying cut their clitoris, or hang the vagina and club it. Men now facing threats from everywhere but no one seem to care. Like what someone once said, the whole world is campaigning for the rights of the girl child, from education, to gender, equal opportunities in governance etc. The boy child will always grow up to be neglected, and will bomb us all for being so. |
Where? These people have a penchant for lying so it's almost impossible to believe them for once. Professor, take it easy. When I get my own and others as well, we will believe you |
Proudlyngwa:I pray it does...@bold They will further give a bad name to their course if they intimidate law abiding citizens tomorrow |
Proudlyngwa:If they do, they should be arrested. It is not ideal to force people to participate in something they don't believe in. Doing that will be an insult to the whole process. Most Nigerians don't know what is honour though... |
I don't understand why the fuss over a simple sit at home? A particular group of people want to observe something they hold dear, we should just let them be. This noise is even giving the whole thing popularity. We have been observing public holidays for goodness sake. Just worrying over nothing |
This one use hin hand destroy himself Happy prison term |
Incompetence is smelling all over the speech. Lemme not waste my time talking about it since all what he said are familiar and expected things, from using the first one year to clear the mess they inherited, to the so many, we will.....above all, two things caught my attention. First, he said hope, I really don't understand what he meant by Hope. The word hope is not a very good thing to hold unto in Nigeria. How do we hope when those who swore to protect us end up killing us? How do we hope when those who promised to make our lives better are so resolute in making our lives worse? How do we hope when some of us die in our sleep without knowing the offence we committed? From herdsmen to Baddo.....hope has a different meaning in Nigeria. Secondly, did he say Nigeria is on a journey to greatness? I don't think so, and certainly not with them running the affairs of the country. |

How many of our great men and women will Nigeria swallow before she becomes great? RIP comrade |
The whole story is replete with an attempt at face saving. We are not buying this shallow explanation. When did waiting in queue to be anointed by a man of God in the house of God become a thing of disrespect? Nigerian politicians and their braggadocio attitude. What's up the 14 day? The chaplain only commits crime on the 14th? |
eph12:You are not getting my angle. It's not about folding hands and crying for jobs. What I am saying is, this do something for yourself jingle is almost giving Nigerians amnesia i.e most people forgetting that government owe them a duty to make things right, and what they must do as individuals to make government do the right thing. Don't you think the time and resources invested on doing something for yourself jingles is put into political education of the citizenry, maybe things would have been better? When government fails to do the right thing, my business will be affected, exactly what it is right now. Now you see why I complain. Political education is better than the current noise because we already understand why we need to do something for ourselves. |
[quote author=eph12 post=56924298]And if our government does not get their act in probably the next 5-10 years does it mean we're doomed? It's in this same Nigeria that people have looked for how to solve some problems and instantly received grant, funding etc for their ideas. I have a friend that recently went for an interview, not for a job but for an investor. While we carry out our civic duties and try to elect the right people, we cannot sit with our hands folded and cry for jobs. [quote] You are not getting my angle. NaijaMutant:Thank you... With the above, there is still hope for the Nigerian state to fulfil her purpose. Until Nigerians identify what they truly want from our leaders, the country will continue to move back and forth. The day it became apparent to me that most Nigerians don't really know what they want was when they hailed President Yar'adua for criticising the process that brought him to power, yet did not resign. Most Nigerians see him as honest and transparent man, not knowing that the man only told them what they wanted to hear. Till this day, people still make reference to that statement. Talking about Osinbajo, the man equally responsible for our present misery as a nation, went to the market and everyone suddenly forgot their misery, frustration, their losses. In response to his presence in the market, they clapped, there was dancing etc hmm...fantastic Nigerians. |
eph12:I understand that very well but the noise about doing business is becoming something else. Looking at it from a holistic point of view, it's as if Nigerians have accepted the failure of the Nigerian state to cater for her people. Therefore everyone should look for how to survive even in areas they have no good knowledge and the required skill to succeed. I am very sure if Albert Einstein was a Nigerian, he would have been forced to set up poultry farm or print recharge cards. My brother, business is not for everybody I say again, and not everybody that will succeed in business. In the words of Aristotle, he said an individual can only live the good life in the polis (state). This means that Nigerians will continue to move back and forth until the government do the right thing. How about Saraki leaving the Senate to go into snail farming or graphics designing? Nigeria must work before we can talk about business.... |
Two shameless people |
NairaSand:thank you very much. The way some people comment on public fora leaves me wondering whether they are the graduates they claim they are. Business is not for everybody. People should begin to get that into their heads. Of course, that's what happens when the system fails, people now only see things from a narrow point of view |
This old man should sit down somewhere already. Boko Haram started and became what it is today because of the wickedness, devilish and evil stance of Obasanjo and his friends to keep the masses perpetually poor and ignorant. People like this man and his friends being resource persons despite their unparalleled failure is an harbinger that all is not well with Nigeria, and it equally portends danger for Nigeria moving forward as a nation. Shame on all of them... |
Where is the Buhari we want to join hands with? |
I know some people will continue their unending argument on which region is better, when their mates are planning coup to take control of government. Nigeria, a sorry state... |
Good move. The executive orders should include politicians patronising hospitals in Nigeria. If there is death, let us all die here... |
Freetech:God bless U Glo, grandmaster of stealing airtime. I don't even know what I did to them.... |
Misguided statement. I wonder if he got this opinion from the voters |
Thought provoking I must say. Ethnic hate; religious bigotry; superstition; sustained by ignorance and illiteracy....very beautiful combination. The above are the major pillars on which the Nigerian problem lies. Frantz Fanon, Patrice Lumumba, Kwame Nkrumah, Walter Rodney, Obafemi Awolowo, Jomo Kenyatta, Casely Hayford, great men that contributed a lot to African nationalism |
We must see the nudes... Oya, Stephanie show us I think pastor should let this matter die already. Continuing it will amount to pettiness on his part. Stephanie, go and sin no more if all you said was fabricated |
abescom:I very much agree with you. I am not of the school that the kidnap did not take place. My own opinion is that the then opposition elements facilitated the process. There are too many loose ends to ignore. Jonathan, and many other actors I believe know about the conspiracy...but of course, feigning ignorance is our culture here. |
abescom:I quite agree with your opinion that the kidnap took place, judging from the questions you raised. But unfolding events has given me a reason to believe there was a conspiracy. We cannot just rule out the leprous finger of the then opposition in the whole saga, the role played by Governor Shettima when he said he thought the president ought to have heard about the kidnap in the early hours, hence his decision not to inform him. The role played by the principal of the school where she could not provide the manifest of the students that registered for that particular exam, the inability of most of the students to read simple English, the kidnappers loading hundreds of students in a truck(s) and driving for kilometres without resistance from anywhere, the list goes on. My brother, there is every reason for Thomas to doubt this. For sometime now, Boko Haram has been resolute in killing our people, including soldiers. It begs the question, how come a government is negotiating for the release of a massive number of kidnapped victims, at the same time the kidnapper is so stern on killing more people? Isn't that acting from two opposing directions? Secondly, the military recently claimed to have bombed Shekau, the supposed leader of the kidnap group, isn't that enough to have called off any negotiation that was already set in motion? Or are the girls no longer in the custody of the dreaded Shekau? I only but wonder. I am not trying to make a case for Jonathan. I am not his sympathiser. Jonathan was just too slow to confront those that confronted him. Lastly, the international community you mentioned, with specific reference to China, Russia, Uk.... They couldn't have done more than what the Nigerian state permitted them to do. Remember, the Uk government said they know where the girls are. Where they able to rescue them? Your guess is as good as mine. All the super powers you mentioned are notorious when it comes to foreign policy especially when a weak country is involved. They are still blaming themselves whether the Syrian chemical attack was staged or not, Sputnik Russian state media just apologized to Al Jazeera for falsely accusing them. These countries can do anything, and that includes APC |
I blame Buhari Grandma don join street too...hmm |
So many questions begging for answers. Boko Haram killing our people everyday, at the same time very much interested in releasing kidnapped victims of their supposed enemies....what ever it is, may we not live to see things like this as a nation again |
62 girls just found, Boko Haram still killing. Too many problems to deal with in this country. RIP soldier May God give your family the fortitude to bear your loss |
