This is the reason why men feel women have nothing to offer other than their bodies. Having sex is a regular thing and shouldn't be advertised. Or is there anything supernatural about one being a Virgin? This girl should go n sit down jare' |

elmisti: Had d chance to be upclose wit the prof. Once and i av to say i was disappointed.....first.. Dis man dont wait for pictures. ...dat one is even minor......d kinda subject he choose to comment on ar just too naive....he always wanna thrend....attention seeking old man like him....although he is still our pride...but he av little prestige outsyd Africa.....egbon wole should better change his ways just my thought. Some people are even saying the statement is figurative blablabla. It wouldn't be such a bad thing for Prof to say that himself, rather than insult people for not decoding what he meant. If communication is like that, then I would say my grandpa's name and interprete it to be something else. The man is just developing personality problem.....still respect n admire him though 2 Likes 1 Share |

With all due respect, this man is just an over pampered child. His behaviour of late is just like an angry child lashing out. Rather than give a reason for not doing what he promised to do, he is here trying to confuse people with semantics. I think doing this often will only demystify him. Anyways, the problem really is Nigerians. It is our love for reminding people what, and who they are that brought us here. Every now n then, noble laureate, as if there are no other ones in the world. Prof should stop living on past glory, and begin to own up to his mistakes. We all still love n respect him for his insights. God bless Nigeria 1 Like |

Ronaldinnioh: "Africa is currently experiencing another form of slavery through Pentecostalism.
We are now mentally lazy and our ability to reason scientifically has been incapacitated.
The write up below gives a vivid reality of the way we think. The Nigerian Pastor won't talk about Usain Bolt or Serena Williams.
The Nigerian pastor wont talk about Steve Jobs or the young people in Silicon Valley reshaping our world.
They won't talk about young American scientists spending endless hours in search of a cure to a disease that's predominantly in the Tropical African Region.
The Nigerian pastor won't talk about Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie or Ben Okri. In every corner of the world, there exist young men and women who have defied all odds and become successful through hardwork, creativity and dedication... The Nigerian pastor wont talk about them......neither will he ask his members to emulate the spirit of these individuals.
He would rather talk about sister Agatha who got a job she WAS NOT THE MOST QUALIFIED FOR because she prayed and fasted in line with their church programme. Or Brother John who became a millionaire because he used all his salary as a seed in the church. Or Papa Miracle who he laid his hands on and 3 of his children got admission in the university Or Mama Esther paid her tithe and her business started growing everywhere across the nation......no business plan, just boom, everywhere.
This has led to a new breed of mentally lazy young people who now see God as a rewarder of mediocrity. To the Nigerian Pastor, the only way to prosper is by paying your tithe and sowing seeds in the church.
So they will never talk about those who have through hard-work and dedication placed themselves on the world map.
No......the Nigerian god only blesses the first 30 people that rush to the altar to drop N100,000 as seed.
The Nigerian god abhors hard work and creative thinking, He only gives to those who sow seeds and offerings......and those who shout "I am a millionaire" every morning and do nothing the rest of the day.
You want The Almighty to come down and help you use the talent He gave you and bless you because you are going to church to shout "Daddy, I receive it" You are all jokers.
Can someone tell these jokers that irrespective of your creed, faith or religion, blessings and favours follow you once you start using your talent and become useful to your society" sound mind... |

linearity: This is a very naive and ignorant question...Nigeria andNigerians have a deep shared interest in what happens in the US, as it will affect us all.
No doubt, America is the most powerful country on earth today, with far reaching influence over many other countries than other powerful countries.
By analogy, the smaller trees should and must be concern about what happens to the big iroko tree in its mix. the iroko may also fall without going down with any of the smaller once. Thinking about d iroko shouldn't stop d smaller once from doing what they are suppose to do |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Vs Clinton: When Did Nigerians Start Having Opinion In American Politics? by ReubenE(m): 11:47pm On Nov 08, 2016 |
Some guys are just too emotional here. Nigerians have no opinion in American politics so we should stop acting as if we do. We can only observe as events unfold. How do we claim to have opinion when it does not have a corresponding effect on who becomes the president. Public opinion is not formed in this manner. Nigerians are just ridiculous by trying to export their bitter type of politics beyond the shores of the country. I advise that we focus more on making Nigeria great |

Nigeria may never get well. Some Nigerians are just not fit to live because of their line of thought. How can we get well as a nation when we reduce everything to sentiments? It beats my imagination that serious happenings of recent are of no concern to some Nigerians because of their love for certain individuals. ....Jonathan killed, so Buhari can kill also, fantastic Nigerian argument I must say. As the old saying goes, what happens to a stranger is like what happens to a tree. But for the fact that the world goes round, what happens to a tree will surely happen to everyone. |

Olukat: Is there UNITY in forcing 3 tribes on Nigeria? so many fail to understand that this singular act is responsible for so many of our problems in Nigeria. I wonder why would a sane country deliberately force three ethnic groups on the rest members of the country by claiming they are minority, there by relegating them to the background. it is laughable that the country is desirous of unity at the same time doing her best to promote disunity with this unfortunate behaviour. Imagine, even our collective currency has the inscriptions of three groups when it is not the three that make up the country. For us, even the naira is alien to us and indeed, the whole Nigerian concept. Nigeria will know no peace and by extension, no unity until deliberate efforts are made to correct this anomaly. |
