So there was this pillow i nvr wanted to share. My younger bro always loved taking it and would get beaten by me.
One day my elder bro and i had an altercation and while that was happening, I see my younger bro (like a psycho)heading to my beloved pillow. Omo I rush the guy, my elder bro held me down and told my younger bro to do whatever he liked with the pillow.

Jeeeeezz!!!!!!!!!!! Omo my younger bro begin beat, bite, gnaw, slap the pillow(while I watched in pain and horror). Then he did the unthinkable.....he takes down his shorts and rapes the pillow. I think I passed out in anguish. He was 5/6yrs old. I can't rmba what happened next but i know i never went miles near that pillow ever again. Looooool very hilarious memory.

You really need to get things straight.
Stroke is not caused by working 7 days a week, otherwise many people abroad would have all been dead from stroke. Nearly all your Drs would have died from stroke as they work longer hours than average.
Educate yourself, stop passing misinformation from generation to generation.
Your dad dying at 47 from stroke wasnt justify because he was working 6 days a week. He would probably have died from same stroke if he was working 3 days a week especially if he had a brain aneurysm or was obese. Stress may be a major factor in a lot of diseases including cancer, but it doesn't happen in isolation. Other things are involved, a lot of them can be controlled by simple lifestyle modification by quitting smoking, alcohol, by exercise, losing weight.
I mentioned earlier that women dying from childbirth should not be compared to people ( men and women) dying from diseases like stroke, diabetes, hypertension. Don't forget not only men die form these conditions.. These other diseases are not directly linked to having or raising children.
This isn't about who is greater between men and women, but just common sense.
Nobody is saying fathers or mothers are not great, but it is the RESPONSIBILITY of every parent to raise their child. You should meet the physical, financial, emotional, and even social needs of your child. Whether man or woman. If you do that, you dont deserve any special accolade. Maybe your children can appreciate that but that's your family's prerogative. Nothing special or unique about meeting the needs of your child ( this is to both men and women), afterall you shouldn't expect me to do that for you.
Most women I know work, and spend on their families. They not only work hard, but raise children alongside. There is no big deal If a man does the same.
If you can't bath your child, then who should? A stranger? If you can't take your child to the park, who should do it for you? If you can't provide for your child, who should do that?
I dont support women who don't contribute to their homes financially, neither do i support men who don't play their part in caring for their children.
If you're a good parent, your children will appreciate you. Why do you want strangers or acquaintances to appreciate you for being a parent?
madam if this is ur point then why the fvck are we bantering? Feminists are confused beings sha. Now a lot of things contribute to hbp but a stroke at 47 is def stress. Oh!! And yes, studies have shown significant increases in mortality rate in married anr family men so i dnt get wht the fvck u trying to justify. My mums a pharmacist my dad stopped eating red meat a decade before his demise. Anyways from what ive deduced men shouldnt expect praise for taking responsibility (irrelevant), also women dont need any praise for childbirth and breastfeeding ..afterall its their reaponsibility. You ppl always bringing up issues wheres theres none.

Are you comparing child birthing to bathing a child huh Seriously are you.

To answer your question a man who bathes or walks his child isn't anything special or a mother who becomes the bread winner of the house isn't also special , these roles can be interchanged and either man or wife can take up any role in the home as long as it progresses the home but comparing child birthing , which can easily take the life of the mother , to cleaning up the baby is downright stewpid
myopic bunch. Is bathing a child the only thing men do. How about freaking spending a fortune and energy feeding and raising the child for 18+ yrs...?!!! Or u don't know it takes a toll on man. When ure not even certain it's ur child...only because the woman said its yours (as we now know maybe false)../ that's true sacrifice my dear.

rats give birth too.
So child birth shouldn't be a big deal.

Women should even be ashamed that rats as little as they are, can do what women do which is giving birth.
rats on an average deliver nothing less than 5 at once. So if its accolades women are falling short behind. Feminism is a cancer

How have men died from caring for their kids? Please don't mention blood pressure and all other diseases which can be prevented by modifying risk factors such as obesity, smoking, alcohol , exercises etc. Women equally make all the sacrifices men make, and more. Many women in Nigeria work, and contribute to the finances of their homes. They still look after their children
You can't say childbirth is just a walk in the park, and for you to trivalise it and compare it to the loss of life of animals is deplorable. When other countries have things under control, the Nigerian man is celebrating the high maternal mortality in its women. You have problems o, big one and you have nobody to tell you.
Your counterparts of other races with low maternal mortality, and generally longer life expectancy look after their children, take care of their homes and also work. Here you are comparing the lives of your women to cats, rats and dogs. Tufiakwa.
We can see why Nigeria is the way it is. This has nothing to do with feminism btw. Just common sense.
Family planning is important for you women o. If you die, you die. The world will move on. If you die for any man, they will spit on your grave. Your health should come first before any expectations of society. Its your body, your life, your womb. Use family planning o.
all these retarded feminists sha. Well let me thrash your nonsense emotional point of view....my dad is a perfect example of one of the millions of dads that lost their lives trying to raise us. Luckily for us he had built some solid legacies. Died at 47. Stroke to be precise, as a result of working 6 days a week. Now one useless feminist will come n be castigating all dads because her father was a deadbeat... PS spk for ursef my dad remains the centre of our home. My mum even after years of his demise, used him as point of contact/correction whenever we err...ie "you know your father wouldn't like this"... Pls learn to speak for yourself. Not all men are like ur pops.
Yes our mums are great and so are our dads. All this dysfunctional kids making axioms on social media self.

Why are people comparing childbirth to taking your child to the park or bathing your child?
People congratulate new parents for the new addition to their families. Its not only mothers that are congratulated for a newbirth.
New mothers have just had a major health change in their bodies, some have had major surgeries, some have had instrumental deliveries. People will definitely go and greet them in hospital. Same way they will go and greet a man 2ho has just had his appendix removed or heart surgery..
If you are going to compare things, pls compare the comparables. As if women don't take their children to the parks or bath their kids.
Why not praise and aww over women who are paying their children's school fees and meeting the needs in their homes. There are plenty of such women around. But the truth is they don't deserve special accolades for paying for their children's needs. They're your children and your responsibility
health challenge ke...women are built for child birth and sadly in the process some lose their lives ...ermm rats, cats, dogs, do yhe same...also lets not forget men have a responsibilty for caring for their kids and guess what MORE MEN DIE IN THE PROCESS !!! Early death. So if men arent supposed to get encouraged cos of feminist man hating stupid ideals then lets do the same. Afterall men never come comparing and whinning about howmuch sacrifice they made for kids.

The reason why they are celebrated is cos it's rare for them to do that, all they care about is making money and meet food on the table when they get back from worktongue let them enjoy it , we all know at the end of the day, the kids would always put their mother first tongue
ohh dear yre so wrong. I ddnt put mine first(mum). I love them separately in different ways... My mums legacies are emmotionally based and non tangible. My dads legacies are houses and some real estate...even in death (r.i.p) his legacies can still serve generations to come. So maam spk for thyself. Plus the older i get as a man i apprec8 my dad more and more. Its not a competition.

Pls dnt mention zik and ojukwu in the same sentence. Even though we lost a war, ojukwu proved a salient point. The igbo man is very ingenious and can be united. Zik was like obama...ojukwu like trump. Zik was blinded by some stupid one nigeria belief. He gave too malny concessions for that stupid non alliance . He discovered too late tht ahmadu bello had a different agenda. The movement of the capital from calabar to enugu was strategic. Calabar became an economic hub(prior to the bombings)while enugu was to becone adminstrative.

My dear brother,
Please, allow the lady into your home for the sake of your wife considering all the remarks you've given her. The lady is going to be of immense assistance to your wife (her mother) and your twin children. You may at the end of the day like/love her just as you love your children.
You may want to streamline your spending on her with a concrete agreement if that is your fear. That is make a note that her father must take care of her school fees and clothing 100% and without any stress to you and your home.
Best regards.
what ure not responsible for you have no control of. Ok check this scenario..once the father takes care of her bills suddenly he develops a sense of priviledge thus can dictate how his child is treated which we know will be unrealistic. The step father would have to be walking on egg shells all the time cos if he innocently tries to discipline the child ehen shes erring and the mum would jump in defense or be suspicious..etc as children we constituted serious nuisance to our parents and in certain cases destroyed their valued properties, the only reason we got away without scars was in the long run blood thicker than water. Feminists shd stop peddling the utopian idea of mixed families. In the real world someone always gets hurt. Either the man wife or the child.

It's this kind of generalization that I hate, you don't know someone from Adam yet you'll be drawing ridiculous conclusions about them. Single parenthood is not a disease neither is it a crime. The single parents deserve to find love too. However, if a person gets into a relationship with a single parent yet wants nothing to do with the child(ren), then he should never have entered such relationship.

If I marry my husband fully aware that he has a child somewhere then he offers to bring in the child at some point but i start resisting. I'm not only evil, I'm stupid as well. In a situation where a child's parents are no longer together, joint custody of the child should be put in place. The Op's wife has not had custody of her daughter in at least five years and he expects it to continue like that? He's not only heartless, he's incredibly stupid as well.
well lets face reality most women usually pressure men into marriage. (Hopefilly youd not dispute this), now if the guy wad pressured into marriage and shed assured him certain conditions would need to be met for him to marry her then after the marriage she now reneges on the agreement, whats the man expected to do. The day she chose to marry was the day she chose a new path and start a new family. Now if ahes echooses her child over the marriage its simple she shud let the guy go find another woman tht knows what marriage is. Which still boils dpen to the foundation..... do not gve birth for just anybody cause ure vacillating emotionally . Once that happens , the child can never have a normal life. If she still wants to keep the home then shed better indulge the husband and mitigate all fears of him playing second fiddle. That way hell mot feel threatened or cheated. Abusing him ror not accepting a child he jas no biz or obligation for is very irritating.

[color=#CD3700] Wow!! I know I’m late to the party but I had to just say this. I don’t understand how parents can toss their child to and fro for the sake of ‘convenience’. I also think it’s super selfish that you said ‘don’t bring a child that’s not mine to my house’. Really??

I pray that little child doesn’t grow up with feelings of rejection and resentment towards her parents. You have the opportunity to affect a young child’s life positively. A wise man would jump at that opportunity.

Hell no! She definitely had a choice. The world does not start and ends with having a husband. Its African mentality that your success depends on having a husband at play here. Do you prefer he grows up in grand parents home or a home with n actual family and a father figure?
a father figure that doesnt want to play that role is worse for the child.

Your comments is distorted pls!

The man entered one chance ? How?? Was he not aware of the child??
He owes the child no obligation?? What?? Is he not married to her mother?? Why can't the child live with her mother? Especially when she is to cater for her?

The man is heartless! I'm a step mother! So I know exactly what's I'm talking about!
Imagine if I asked my husband to send his child away!!! God forbid evil.

For your information there is no such thing as an illegitimate child in Nigeria family law! All child whether in or out of wedlock are equal.

But you sef, where do u want the child to livehuh
all you liberals and politicaly correct people.....face reality. Youre a stepmum suddenly...na so. Just to buttress this scenario. Anyways he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. The childs father should be compelled to care for the child. The poor guy has no biz in her past. When he got married he made vows to his wife and vice versa...he ddnt make vows to she and her child. She should either find a way to beg him or lure him to accept the child but if his happiness is shattered then the marriage is wrecked. So uts either she moves on. Wheres the fathers parents. Relatives etc sef? This story has too many loopholes.
