RomanceRe: Disadvantages Of Late Marriage by Revolva(m): 12:16pm On Feb 20, 2013
2. For the men: whether Nigerian men like it or not, male fertility also reduces with age. Blame it on diet and lifestyle. The men also get desperate to have children and may be tempted to have kids outside marriage.
Getting the love of your life is also more difficult if you are already "made". It is when you're nobody that you can tell who loves you and not just who came because of money.
If you're already comfortable, the girls may fight to get your attention, making the selection of wife material very difficult.

Marrying at an older age means you can't connect with your children because of generational gap. You will be analogue and your kids will be digital.

You risk making a young wife a widow. You pay school fees with pension money.
story na who tell you say a man cant get a woman pregnant even if he dey 60 years its possible ..

1. Are you married?
2. If not, how do you expect to have a clue what its about. And please, seeing and perceiving is very different from experiencing. Its like losing your parents: you will never know how it feels until you go through it.
3. If you are, then you should get a divorce because you clearly are with the wrong person.

That aside, the problem with most marriages today is that people get married too late!
1. You see, there is a wise saying in most Nigerian tribes that goes something like: you can't teach an old dog new tricks (or similarly you can't bend dried fish). What this means is that once you are set in your ways, you are just that: set in your ways.
Just imagine a young maiden, learning what a relationship should be like from an idler who is only out to 'catch' fun without a care in the world. Where does she learn about trust, responsibility and how to treat a man? - from a carefree playboy. The same applies for a young man.

2. What is marriage? What forges a strong marriage are the hardships and trials you face and overcome together while building your home. Struggling to build a career, counting pennies, crying over just how difficult things are and encouraging one another. Such experiences are the fire that forges the core of a solid union.

You miss the point. What you call 'boring', 'painful' and inconvenient: that is what is called life. It is not a bed of roses and neither does your financial wealth dictate the wealth of your experience in life. True wealth comes from love, companionship and knowing in the eyes of another that they have your back 'come what may!'

Respectfully, your comment is laughable at best.
i dont mean that i wanna marry so late...the way i see some boys sef d way dem dey ive girls belle dey vex me before you know not all of them will take resonsilities to take care of the child leaving the girl to struggle anyhow.

i have seen two girl that prostitutes now to survive she is just like 22 years and the other one 23 am sure beautiful girls who suppose to be responsible somewhere..its because they did not use their sense when choosing a spouse..they think marriage is the surest way to happiness...na lie ooo!! now what they are doing for a living now they did not expect it now e be like home video movie...

**his girlfriend family disapprove of their relationship, and he decides to wipe out the whole family.
**the killer is also threatening to wipe out the extended families living in Delta State.

In what seemed like a horror film when a man walked into his girlfriend’s family home at Igando, a suburb of Lagos and shot dead seven persons, including an eight-month pregnant mother of three. He also shot and wounded two others.

The tragedy occurred between Saturday night and Sunday morning, when Johnson (not real name), a native of Imo State, visited the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ekene Ozor and that of Mr. and Mrs. Odia in the night and shot his victims in cold blood. Johnson was said to have had a relationship with the late Sandra Ijedinma, which the family did not approve of. Their disapproval infuriated Johnson and he decided to wipe out the entire family.

According to an eyewitness, Johnson, who first visited the Ozors, first saw Katherine, his girlfriend’s twin sister at the door, pointed a gun at her and directed her to lead him to others. On entering the house, he shot Katherine; Sandra, his girlfriend; Mrs. Ozor, who tried to escape; her first daughter, Happiness and second daughter, Bethel. While others died on the spot, Katherine, as well as Bethel, who was shot in the stomach, survived and were rushed to an undisclosed hospital.

Not done with his killing spree, Johnson went to the home of the Odias, and killed Mrs. Ngozi Odia, elder sister to the girlfriend and her three children: Angela, 12; Chidinma, 10 and Chinenye, 8. Thereafter, Johnson used Sandra’s phone to call Mr. Ozor to know his whereabouts to gun him down. Johnson, however, spared three-year-old Miss Victory.

Narrating his ordeal, Mr. Ozor said he received a call at about 9.30p.m on that fateful day with Sandra’s number. On answering the call, it turned out to be Johnson, who asked him his whereabouts and threatened to get him.

Ozor spoke further: “I was surprised when I received the call. He said, ‘this is not Sandra, I am coming for you. Anywhere you are I must get you.’ I asked him, who are you and what is the threat for, but he off the phone.” Startled, Ozor said he quickly called his family- wife, Sandra and Katherine. Although their phones rang, none of them answered. “I had to call my landlord and he told me that something tragic has happened in my flat and that I should come home immediately.

That was how I started going home but for security purpose, I had to stop over at Igando police station. I was there throughout that night until the early hours of Sunday. The policemen and I then went to my house and to my greatest horror, I saw my wife and others dead and soaked in their blood.”

The distraught man called on the Inspector General of Police to beef up security around Igbodo and Agbor in Delta State, where the extended families reside. According to him, since the dastardly act, Johnson had been threatening him on phone, saying he would wipe him out and his entire village.

Johnson’s whereabouts had remained unknown while the corpses had been deposited in the mortuary. The matter had been reported to the police. - Sun Newspapers.

RomanceDisadvantages Of Early Marriages by Revolva(op): 12:57pm On Feb 19, 2013
Many people are marrying early these days. They would like to get into matrimony as soon as their courtship is over. Tying the knot is important to strengthen their relationship. They feel settling down in life early would help them set up their independent home.

Whatever may be the advantages of settling down early in life, the fact remains there are problems to be faced if one gets into matrimony too quickly.

Examples are :
1. Responsibility has to be shouldered at a very young age. One has to take on household responsibilities, child rearing responsibility etc. There is no adult to guide or help out.

2. Missing out on the fun of teenage life and being young. The drudgeries of married life can get to you. They deprive you of your youth.

3. Health also can get affected as early pregnancy can have a negative impact on overall health.

4. Breakdown of marriage is possible. Often the young couple is immature to shoulder major responsibility and end up fighting with each other. Adjustment problems may arise.

5. Education also gets affected. The young couple may not be able to pursue higher education as they have to take on the responsibilities of family budget.

6. Work opportunities are limited for the youngsters. Since their education levels are low, they cannot get highly paid jobs.

7. Bringing up children may be difficult. Their knowledge of child care may be limited and parental guidance is also not there. They may not be able to provide the appropriate care for their child.

Marrying early may seem very romantic and convenient, but it has its problems. Couples need to get to know each other better and this takes time. Rushing into a marriage, which may not last long does not appear the right thing to do. In some countries, where child marriage is prevalent, efforts are on by respective Governments to dissuade such a practice.

I got iPhone 4s,sold my GS3 to buy HTC One X and compliment them with a BB torch2,does that makes a BB fan? The answer is capital NO,I am only trying to correct his dumb brain.
Well as for me comparing Nokia and blackberry, attached are pics of the Blackberry 850 and Nokia 640 both released in 1999 as that will give idea of what Nokia was manufacturing before RIM emergence.
The BB 850 device had a full
keyboard, which was unusual at the time. It could send messages, access email, send and receive pages and act as a basic organizer.
But the Nokia 640 could not even send a full text message, give respect to whom respect is due.
For that idio:t called Frostyzone to say Iphone pioneered smartphones is a big insult to RIM as Job got all his ideas from RIM existing devices.
.
What do you mean by" give respect to Nokia because it started way back before RIM" because as far as I know RIM was founded in 1984 ,started manufacturing Wireless devices in 1988 and that to me is a long time,HTC was incorporated 1997 and was originally making laptops/notebooks before venturing into the mobile phone market in 1998.
This guy has said it all this is the most current dude here so accurate in post and not to sentimental about bashing- all ya band wagon smart fone users oya make una learn now ok !!!! Three Gbosa for you jare tell dem
