Can 22% represent the opinion and aspirations of 68millon registered voters? Or
Can 9% represent the opinion and aspirations of 170million Nigerians?

SENATE PRESIDENCY ELECTION:
Total No of Senators=109
Total votes to Saraki=57
The percentage=57÷109×100=52%
Can 52% represent the opinion and aspiration of the 109 Senators?
Please be the judge in this case and subsequently advice the committee purportedly led by Abdulsalami.

To be honest, Fayose is the person that really deserve the post and not Mimiko.
Mimiko just re-joined the party lately whereas, Fayose has been steadfast in PDP, and has also been vocal in the course of PDP. The only Governor that defeated the opposition in his State at all levels, however, Fayose, for the interest of peace should support the emergence of Mimiko.

There is no established contract in the first place, therefore, there is no default.
The court is only looking at the fact the he impregnated her and left her for months with no care, which is irresponsible on his part.

This man should just keep shut lest thunder fires him. He 'dashed' out the Deputy Senate Presidency slot to PDP and he's here blabbing. The respect I used to have for Saraki and Dino Melaye has just diminished. I love the way Ndume was treated. He never knew Saraki had met with PDP Senators to offer them the 'Deputy Presidential' slot. He thought he had played fast on his fellow APC Senators to emerge the Deputy to Saraki. He may have dumped Saraki by now since his 'supposed' slot was freely given to Ekwerimadu and Saraki is in for a long thing.

The PDP Senators should know that they were the greatest losers yesterday. Out of the 57 Senators that were present at the hallowed chamber of the Senate during the 'sham' Election, only 8 of them were APC Senators. If a PDP Senator had moved a motion to nominate a fellow PDP Senator (say David Mark), he would have won the contest hands down and Saraki would have felt betrayed by now (which would have gladdened my heart). Saraki betrayed their trust in him when he defected to APC, he also betrayed APC's trust when he shunned the meeting convened by the President at the ICC and went to the floor of the Senate, they (PDP) should have also betrayed him by electing a PDP man as Senate President. I would have preferred it that way. PDP goofed!

I disagree with your submittion that "PDP goofed" by not norminating their candidate for Senate Presidency, if they had tried it, they(PDP) would have lost out completely, because as at that material time, time was of essence.If PDP had norminated a candidate, they would have started an election,at the process the APC members would have arrived to team up against PDP or cause pandimonium on the floor,which probably would have put the inauguration at a halt.The fact that Saraki was unopposed, saved the day for PDP at that material time.
PDP refusal to norminate a candidate for SP,further set APC against APC, which is a big plus for them.
The game was well played by PDP.

PDP and snitches like Saraki shouldn't rejoice yet. After the court must have declared the emergence of the SP and DSP illegal, the APC will also sanction Saraki and that will be the beginning of the end of his political career and indeed his strength in Kwara politics.
Infact at this point, I bury all my grievances against Gbajabiamila (which are more personal and not for national interest). Any APC lawmaker who pairs with a PDP lawmaker for their selfish interests do not deserve to lead or remain in APC.
