Raiders:Are you talking from experience? |
I assess people by my personal observations rather than what people say about the person. I am not in the position to assess his 1983\85 administration, but i would be able to do that after his term (s). Irrespective of our affiliations, we should be bold to commend good work and constructively critize when necessary. Buhari 3 hearty cheers to you. I missed Yaradua Musa, many people never new about the word 'Amnesty ' until he gave it to the militants. |
Friends lets look at it from this angle. If the Court establishes that the said document (Senate rule) was forged as alleged(which I don't see it happening), it means that the Senators that instituted this case lack the LOCUS STANDI to file the case, based on the FACT that it was the same 'forged' document (Senate rule) that was USED to inuagurate them. Do not forget they were mere Senators-elect before the inauguration and they could not have become Senators without the inuaguration, it was after the inauguration that they could be referred to as SENATORS. In other words, you cannot stand on a stone and at the same time seek to remove the stone upon which you stand (ofcourse You will fall). Therefore if they felt that the Senate rule was forged, and it was upon the same 'forged' Senate rule that they became Senators, it means they are NOT Senators, and if they are not Senators, they lack the 'LOCUS STANDI' to file that case. The court in their wisdom will at the end of the day strick out the case, for National Peace and Total Tranquility. |
Simple comprehension is becoming complex. Some persons read but cannot comprehend, some had already formed their opinions before reading, some just comment without reading, they just follow the crowd to comment. Court process is sacrosanct and MUST be followed religiously. The judge said" The Police report WILL be nullified, IF found out that an ACTION have been taken on the report, since the suit challenging the investigation had been filled" What is difficult here to comprehend? |
Well, it's important we understand that most of these loans were negotiated and given to LIMITED LIABILITY Companies, which are jurist individuals distinct from the owners, therefore, it was actually the name of the companies that ought to have been published and NOT the personal details of the Directors and CEOs(at this stage you cannot talk about lifting the veil of incoporation) because it's ONLY a court of competent jurisdiction that can lift the veil of incoporation. My question is who published the personal details of the Directors and CEOs of these loan default companies and why? (am arguing from the legal point of view). |
alfred5:Not one but two down. First was Labour Party, Second APGA ,Third... |
Ogbobesinachi:My dear you are right, he is a Nigerian, but have you thought of the possible effect of this statement to Mikel Obi's career? are you aware that it has the capacity and tendency to deflect Mikel's fan base?(what did Mikel Obi did to him to warant this?) espercially coming from a Man of his calibre that has large followers, and whose statement is revered by his followers. A man of his calibre should be mindful of his utterances or expression of his personal opinion(not God's message)in the public. |
A time will come when people will no longer take this man seriously. He is fast losing it by the way and manner he talks. |
san316:My dear the principles of checks and balances does not apply in this circumstance. The principle of Checks and Balances is to Checkmate (a watch dog role) each arm of Government against 'EXCESSES' as it AFFECT the Nigerian people. The Executive arm of Government has no business in the affairs (house rule) of the Legislature. NAS is an independent arm of Government that manages its internal affairs(house rule). What the IG is doing is never in order and the Court will affirm that in no distance time. Watch out! |
timunstopable:What was the basis of that Judge that you said "cleared the IG" which is an agent of the EXECUTIVE to involve in a matter that borders on the LEGISLATURES (Senate rules). Where is the principle of 'SEPARATION OF POWER' amongst the three arms of Government? An SS1Government Student knows better. |
shachris:You really think they are "senseless"? Only time will prove you right or wrong. |
RichDad1:My dear you are right, but do not forget that most of these retired Officers served when there was no insurgency in Nigeria, therefore where did they get the experience that is required to face this current phenomenon of terrorism which is our pressing security issue? I think it would be better to train and retrain the ones in active service on how to fight this menace with the necessary armaments (Just thinking aloud anyway). |
While you are aspiring to become a Chartered Accountant, it's very important you understand that ICAN does not guarantee you employment, financial freedom or wealth. There are so many jobless and under paid ICAN members out there (it's a statement of fact). However, you should not be discouraged, it's indeed a NOBLE profession. I am proud to identify with ICAN. |
I hope this encomium would be sustained when Mbaka starts to criticize Buhari's government? (Just thinking aloud anyway). |
Nigeria is just a big JOKE. Nigerians getting excited that their president is being celebrated in Cameroon? Chai!... Chai!!... |
DiademSh07:Really? Please tell me more. |
The Presenter, no doubt said the naked truth at a very wrong place and at a very wrong time.Assuming David Mark is a thief, the presenter is the wrong person to either say it or lend credence to it,afterall he (David Mark) is his employer.Who dares criticize his boss openly? |
MosakuAW:Which University awarded you the B.sc and M.sc? |
Is there any single person that is a spokes person of Yoruba tribe? That a Yoruba person made a personal statement does not imply that his or her opinion represent the opinion of the entire Yoruba tribe. Country people which way? |
jaymichael:One thing is common amongst these politicians, they are only building their empires at the expense of you and I, yet here we are praising them. How many of them have foundations for the less-privilege? |
O elijahdre:What is the difference between s 850 and k3, and how much is the k3? |
elijahdre:Thank you! Please don't forget about the phone, afterwards you tell me how I can place an order. But what do you think about that Lenovo S850, is it a good phone that you can recommend to any one? |
Please who knows about Lenovo S850, can it be recommended? |
Please who knows about Lenovo S850? |
oribi:Thank you, but have you used the phone? Can you recommend it based on your experience? |
Please do you have Lenovo S850 and 4000MAH powerbank? Please give me their prices. |
Does anybody has information about Lenovo S850 ,including its current market price? |
Most at times is not as a result of 'love' its as a result of 'benefit'. Intelligent female students hardly indulge in that, because they are independent academically. Most at times the guy is academically sound whereas the lady is below average, hence the cohabition. During my school days, the best graduated student in my faculty lived with his girlfriend through out our programe and trust me the lady became very sound academically(the guy later got married to her). In as much as I don't support cohabition in school, I would not completely condem it when academics is their priority. @Op what is actually your headach on this issue? have you ever slept with your fellow student or did you ever sleep with any of the students in campus? are you still a virgin? If you are not a virgin, and you had ever slept with any student, then you are guilty as well, therefore you lack the moral right to condem others, its their life and never yours. |
sweatlana:Well, I chose my words carefully...I said ' some element of superiority' though not absolute superiority anyway(I don't want to go deep into this). If there is a subsisting judgement by FHC and NIC went ahead to give a judgement contrary to the subsisting judgement, what is NIC trying to achieve other than 'upturning' the judgement of FHC? If you disagree with my choice of word, what is the appropriate word in this circumstance? |
glory2glory:You are not saying the whole truth. When the court said both parties should maintain STATUQUO, what does it mean even if RISEC already had the register? |
sweatlana:Please do not misinform people on this plateform. National Industrial Court is a 'special court' set aside to abjudicate on industrial matters like employer and employee comflict(s). In terms of hierarchy, The Federal Hight court has some element of superiority, therefore, NIC apart from lacking the jurisdiction to hear the matter, cannot upturn the judgement of the Federal Hight Court. |
MrCounselor:Bros read that S147 (1) with a very clear understanding. "There SHALL BE such offices of Ministers of the Government of the Federation as MAY BE established by the President" 'SHALL BE' is a commanding tone, Certainty, the word 'MAY' in this context does not mean that the President 'may' decide not to appoint Ministers, it simply means that the President is in charge of establishing the FEC which the the first line of that section had said"THERE SHALL BE". Therefore, the President is COMPELLED by this section of the Constitution to establish the FEC. It's an impeachable offence should he fail to do that. He has no choice, he MUST establish the FEC. |
