hmm may God help and deliver people of the country from suffering emanating from faulty economic policies. During GEJ the Nigeria was tagged country where stealing wasn't corruption, but presently under PMB it is fantastically corrupt, and the President surprising accepted this. Now where is the country heading with all strange and abnormal development has been serious concern to everyone. |
can you recommend a good android phone 5.5 inches, price range between N25000 and N35000, and which can last for more than 7 hours of continuous use for browsing? |
Joygalore:... in that country called Nigeria. You can now dissociate self after all benefits tapped from the country starting from those days you were a small girl playing on bare floor with dirty pants. Notwithstanding, you can still remember home and do your part. |
delishpot:dry tomatoes in a room, doing that must be during harmattan, it can't just be done successfully in humid areas |
it's difficult to dry tomatoes and in the process of drying healthy nutrients are greatly denatured. Dry pepper will be OK with tomato paste, not the other way |
khadaffi:you meant this is what the govt has done, meaning the price could still be jerked up again. If this is the situation, we must all rise against any undue increment in price of petrol. Little by little it is going to N500 per litre |
cutebobo:fantastically corrupt! That's technical word to describe the new trend of corruption in the country. When the system is shielding and fighting corruption at the same time. |
I agree with subsidy removal but disagree with APC's lacking in agenda. So the government should agree first to pay the new minimum wage across the the board and in all states before subsidy removal can take effect. |
OP it's like you get double bonus, they also extended your data validity to August. WOW! |
so the same thing operating in Oyo, Osun and Ondo doesn't leave Ekiti State behind - owing more than 5 months salaries. Nawao! |
phcn doesn't want it to be super strike on their part that is why they jeje opted out. Phcn that is almost dead for the past few months. Something which impact is not felt can't be relevant. Oil worker are favored by the new policy because they are greatest beneficiaries. I support both the subsidy removal and the strike. Government revenues will be greatly increased and there would be much money to meet various needs, but workers must play smart this time around, esp state workers. They should not allow the negotiation go the way it ended 5 years ago when it was only FG workers that managed to come out with better salaries. Many states have not paid the minimum wage since then. This time around they must get full benefits from the increments coming to federal and state revenues before they surrender. NLC must also force the government to make provisions for employment opportunities and wealth Creation. |
asha90:meaning there is good combination of knowledge and biz in the state. But today novelists are drastically reducing in number probably the few ones who could have made impacts are looking to government for appointments |
ndcide:man can easily propose, note the one that exalts itself can be brought under and the lowly raised. |
ndcide:you think the north can monopolize power? That was a thought in the past. All tribes are entitled to the office of president. It was previously Yoruba, Hausa, Ijaw and presently Hausa. The next president can emerge from any part of the country. |
magicfingers009:Abi o many are just indifferent to the plight of majority of Nigerians. States are owing salaries 6 and more months, nevertheless they are being forced to go and work daily, many have died in the process while many families are collapsing |
This man can't be a bishop, though he might have dressed that way to catch attention, he must be a concerned citizen that has been terribly hit by the state of suffering in the country I myself could have protested the serious rip off from the phcn. Imagine they are forcing us to pay for darkness. With this and many problems on the ground, government has just introduced another burden that will cause average citizens to suffer more. How the thieves arrived at meter reading in thousands for the reading that is not up to 20 units. FG must have collaborated with phcn to cheat on Nigerians by forcing them to pay for abnormal charges. subsidy removal is just a scam just as phcn, embargo on rice importation, controversial exchange rates and many others. Only a few are being enriched while many are at the receiving end of 'sick' policies |
gidimasters:what? Glo has sent me notifications twice after the time auto renewal should have been done. That's the reason for this post. |
why can't they offer cheaper data during the day, anything special about period of the day and data consumption, that there are disparities in the charges? |
Though the telecoms will give notification that auto renewal is active, at times they will send the message 30 mins to 1hr late, that is after unused data might have been wiped off. I have watched the time a subscription would expire and subscribed again to get used data added to the new one. Since It is possible to miss the right time to subscribe and add unused data, do telecoms always roll over over unused data whenever subscriptions are auto renewed? |

seunmsg:When some states haven't even paid the minimum wage of the last 5 years. States should be forced to pay the new minimum for justice sake. Leaving states to do whatever they like with the workers will further widen the gap between federal and state workers. Some state governors are sturborn and wicked, they won't pay the minimum wage |
caleb404:Are Osun mineral resources and fortunes at your backyard? I doubt it! What Osun delivers for her people is within the state, it is left to the people to bring it out. |
truewalker:what is the prospect of that technology in Facebook industry or networking? |
barragan:how do you know MTN 4GLTE already exists in town? |
Baptism in the Holy Spirit (Pentecost) Churches that are alive in Christ will strive to grow in the Spirit and power of God. The essence of Pentecost is to reveal that God gives and fills those who are in Christ with His Holy Spirit. Acts 2:39 - For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our Lord shall call. The followings are discussed: Baptism in the Holy Spirit Foretold; Baptism in the Spirit Received, Spirit Baptism for All Believers. Baptism in the Spirit Foretold: Jesus had told disciples that he would send Holy Spirit who would enable them and his followers to go into the world, preach the gospel with boldness and win souls to the kingdom of God (Acts 1:4-5). He also gave specific instructions concerning when, where and how believers could receive Holy Spirit baptism which they needed to preach repentance and forgiveness of sins, and harvest souls to the kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit baptism would be experienced as described in the Old Testament (Joel 2: 28-29) and would be required for the service that would bring about redemption and salvation. God sent His Spirit to open our minds to His plan for the eternal life and give the awareness about Christ's future rule (Acts 1:6-8 ). Jesus had said that believers would receive the power when Holy Spirit came upon them. The spiritual power can't be attributed to personal merit; it comes from God and enables believers to do His service. God would also empower believers who have received His Spirit to witness for Him as the One True God and declare the good news of His salvation through Christ to all people. The Holy Spirit Baptism was received as promised by Jesus and its coincidence with the day of the Pentecost, one of the main harvest feasts (Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacle) prescribed by the Law points to harvest of souls as the firstfruits of spiritual resurrection. Harvest of souls started on the Day of Pentecost with 120 believers who had obeyed Christ's command and gathered for prayer (Acts 2:1-4). The gathering that looked like ordinary setting suddenly changed to a powerful spiritual encounter where the power of God was mightily manifested. The power of God came with three signs - strong wind, fire and speaking in tongues during the baptism in the Holy Spirit. People who had come from far and near to Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost were surprised by the supernatural event which showed manifestation of the power of Holy Spirit among the believers. The new Pentecost had started with believers who were endued with the power to proclaim the gospel and bring others to the saving faith in Christ (Acts 2:5-13). The Holy Spirit baptism which started on the day of Pentecost reminds Christians of the need to seek the power of Holy Spirit, witness for Christ and preach the kingdom of God. Spirit Baptism for All Believers: Baptism and the gifts of Holy Spirit to all believers were a fulfilment of the old testament prophecy. Christ's disciples had been hiding to avoid persecution, but when the Spirit had come upon them, they spoke bodly concerning outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days (Acts 2:14-18). It's through the power of Holy Spirit that the gospel can be preached in all places and those who believe and call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Peter declared the need for repentance and to seek forgiveness as the first step to experience spiritual transformation. Thereafter the people would be baptised in water and the Holy Spirit to become the firstfruits of harvest of souls. Baptism in the Holy Spirit is an important part of Christian life and the requirement to faithfully do the service of God and live righteously (Galatians 5:22-26) . Lesson texts: Acts 1:1-8; 2:1-39. |
Kennedyiheme:that's why serving God is a matter of choice and not force. You are entitled to your opinion and answerable to your choice. |
People should practice home garden - keep some animals and use their wastes to keep the portion of land meant for cropping fertile. They must make provision for irrigation and plant pepper and tomatoes to target the the times of scarcity. Most importantly leave enough space for home garden and stop sealing available spaces with concrete. |
Kennedyiheme:people making riches their God can't share the smallest fraction of their lives with God. Both the poorest and richest will come and go and if they are asked how about their experience in life they would say the experience was same. The only thing that would make a difference is how they feared and served God. where are the riches of yesteryears and their owners, today they are out of fashion. Just a smallest fraction of your years on earth you can't give God and you have the guts to come out and condemn those doing so. If I may ask, does serving God amounts to wretchedness? If not why can't you keep your mouth shut and watch those doing so enjoying the grace of God better than you? |
sample042:how have you used your brain to contribute to something glorious for Nigeria? Find better things to do instead of attacking someone else for sharing ideas pertaining to his faith. This kind of reaction is archaic and barbaric since it has nothing to offer - either to save lives or renew character and transform the society |
wolfenstein:you mean it, it was the abnormal data consumption that sent me away from the network, though the speed and reliable service is guaranteed in my place |
winkmart:abi o though underage, he is struggling to live. He must be given better employment without delay. His hustling with vision and good employment will help him live a better life |
huntax:how can you understand what you don't know and know if not taught? If you don't know that it's God himself that gave Jesus the name above all names, and you claim to know God as Christian or Muslim then you are ignorant. If you believe in the prophets from Abraham to Moses to David to Isaiah to Daniel and others and you don't believe that Jesus is Lord then you are in trouble! |
