Rilwayne001:soka ritualist den has been leveled while the culprits are waisting away for the wicked acts perpetrated Since not all Fulani herdsmen are killer herdsmen, maybe our security agents should be out to wipe out the killer ones and secure farming communities from the monsters. Hope by the time this is being done the innocent Fulani will not condemn the action and call for reprisal |
Rilwayne001:so lies and fraudulent statement has become sense to you The poster you are defending erred a lot because he was politically motivated to write the trash he didn't know with few statements there he has spoilt the whole content Yeah... When did the Yoruba and other tribes of the South begin to disguise as Fulani herdsmen, entering, ravaging and destroying farms of their kinsmen with imaginary cattle? |
Why are some people annoyed by the new quote that has just been added to the list? "Out of the darkness, you are able to see stars" Remember someone philosophically said "after the tunnel is the light" Let me add my own After PDP and APC better Nigeria will emerge |
the validity will bring serious headache. None is valid for a month. Airtel is smart to dupe subscribers |
The mobile phones might add mobile transport whereby you sit on the phone and get transported. Let's watch if that can be achieved. |
obikirinoni:can't you still subscribe for preferred data bundles from the balance and get more data? |
it selects SIMs, I tried it on 2 lines it is not showing the second option which is N300 for 3gb |
MTN is most difficult of all networks in Nigeria to be trusted because they have caused more problems than pleasure to subscribers anytime they roll out mouth-watering offers. By the time many are in their court with huge investment they will quickly shut down the system and lock everybody out empty handed. This is their method from the beginning. |
Megaflex:anyway something makes me higher than your philosophy or thought. Life can't just exist without a medium, and how can you make comparison without a reference. You need resources that can inspire you whether documented or not, but the documented ones make it easier to navigate. |
whose fault? Students, Teachers or England? Blame British who taught English for some years and run away. They don't even compensate you for struggling to speak what they speak Anyway 'NEPA Has taken light'... means what? |
Megaflex:You are free to make your choice. It is up to you to believe in God or not. If you think his way is hard for you to follow try the way of the world and its emptiness, you will know the difference ONE DAY Man when did you pray, fast and believe in God last, or you are taught in the knowledge of God? If your answer is no, you need to read beyond science and encyclopedia and add something higher and greater - something beyond vanity. |
Hope they have not come to spy the entire area sha. Their movements and activities should be well monitored to prevent them from staging another attack and killing in that town. |
Kennedyiheme:True religion doesn't seek to kill but rather to save. Those killing themselves and others on religion are ignorant of what God requires of them. Satan is the author of all evils, while many have tried to associate themselves with religion and God. Christianity combines faith and work, diligence and wisdom, craftiness and intelligence even to design and discover, that is the reason why the Bible says if anyone lacks wisdom he must ask God for it. Those who might have rejected religion/faith/God in the recent times might be living in the danger and comfort of the perilous times of the last days, after they have reaped the good fruits of labour of their fore fathers who spent quality times with God, asking for peaceful and convenient times for the future generations. We shouldn't deceive ourselves, most churches in Nigeria today are praying for better future that will guarantee abundance of beautiful things. What if God finally grants the request and the generation witnessing it thinks it is by their power, and become overtaken by pride and arrogance. That's what has been described as the danger of convenient/comfortable time. After known the truth about God in CHRISTIAN religion and you decide to follow your own way, nobody, even God will query you for your action. But whatever you choose and practice shall be revealed one day when God will test your work by fire and ask you to give account of how you spend your life. What if the work is burnt and the life spent is condemned. Having faith in God is not in any way problem to the others and the world. Those who lack understanding or being influenced to do evil by Satan are the problem, not religion or God. |
not finished yet? I thought the country is done with the terrorists in terms of destroying all their camps and wiping the wicked off the country. |
Flexherbal: nawtyme:All still the same, probably that is the reason why the country hasn't witnessed the expected CHANGE |
Encouragement for Dealing with Trials Trials and difficult times will surely come but the Bible reminds us of the mercy, love, care and faithfulness of God and provides all Christians need to confidently face challenges with the assurance that they will overcome them.James 1:12 - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. The followings are discussed: Persevere in Trials; Acknowledge God's goodness, and Hear and Obey God's word. Persevere in Trials: The book of James was written by James the brother of Jesus; it is rich in inspirations that will help Christians succeed through life's journey. James made it known that Christians who understand and live by the word of God are blessed through trials of life (James 1:1-8 ). Trials can come in various forms: temptation toward sin, persecution, hardships and test of faith; they bring confusion, pain and sorrow. However, God seeks to accomplish a purpose when our faith is tested. As we depend upon God trials will serve to develop our character and strengthen us. Difficult times will come and go, but our character, perseverance, endurance and trust in God will help us succeed. We need spiritual maturity and the wisdom of God to understand and face trials, and must not allow our hearts to be divided by doubt and become unstable. God is in control and will see us through. All believers, the wealthy and the poor will experience trials and test of faith, but will overcome if they endure in faith and maintain proper perspective. Believers should rejoice in their ability to fulfill God's purpose for living. God's purpose survive beyond this world while earthly or material things have lifespan and can become useless at any time (James 1:9-12). The word of God emphasizes perseverance during trials to remind and assure us of the eternal rewards. Those who overcome will see God and receive the reserved promise. Acknowledge God's Goodness: In all trials God remain faithful and will uphold those who put their trust in Him. Trials can come as a common experience over matters that affect all people or as suffering for sin of disobedience to God. People can also experience problems as a result of their rebellious actions. God is good and holy and doesn't lure people to sin (James 1:13-15). It's Satan that tempts people to do evil, thus causing them to suffer its consequences. We are responsible for our actions if we allow lusts to draw us toward sin. Temptation to sin has horrific spiritual consequences. It seeks to separate sinners from God and destroy them. God is good and the only true Source of good. He provides good things for His children as the Heavenly Father and the Creator (James 1:16-18). He is unchangeable God, therefore His goodness is unchangeable. He provides comfort and assurance during times of difficulty. Christians must trust God fully in order to enjoy His goodness and mercy and live with the experience of His salvation. Hear and Obey God's Word: We should approach God with humble hearts as we respond to His call . Pride deafens ears and hardens hearts to the call of God, but humility will make us hear His voice and lead us through the way of holiness and righteousness. We must hear and obey God to receive from Him and experience His faithfulness (James 1:19-25). True religion involves practices that are good in the sight of God. These include humility, sincere worship and devotion, love for God and others, and behaviours that shape character in response to expectations of God. Pure religion prompts people to help and meet needs of the needy, sets lives free from distress and makes believers live to please God. Lesson texts: James 1:1-27. |
well said but certain activity might be contrary to what is discussed most esp, I have observed a slight increase in temperature during deep sleep as against drop in temperature |
my fear is that these so called elders/governors made it difficult for the country and the rest of the world to label boko haram fighters as s terrorist group. They defended them until their evil was full to conveniently bear the name 'terrorists'. we can't be surprised about North's double standard when it comes to defending evil that offers certain benefits for the region or for collective interest of certain powerful, influential and selfish individuals. |
it's known fact that boko haram graduated from Fulani herdsmen and presently reverting to where and how it developed |
Which states and towns are the SIMs currently available to buy? |
WASMOG:The question I will like to get the answer! Is the airport or field located in Ekiti State? It was in the news sometimes ago that Fayose was planning to build airport in Ekiti which many considered as a misplaced priority. |
shocking news, shocking video, so no state is immune to terrorist/jihadist/herdsmen/militant attacks. May God help us |
ndosorry:To your question, why are they migrating to south from the north that has large expanse of land? Blood of the innocent shed in the north might have serious implication in the region. |
alaskido:point of correction! No one or tribe is born to rule forever Some or group of people can only be using a chance for one season after which others will take over. What you are still referring to has expired since 1999. It's just the few bigots that are still trying to create that impression. You can see other tribes can no longer hold their peace while certain tribe(s) monopolize violence and believe they can dominate others through violent means. Just as boko haram has failed Fulani herdsmen violence will also fail sooner or later. May God let oil price come to zero Naira per barrel and States find agriculture as the only means to survive. Then they will create farm settlements in all communities, employ youths and make agriculture convenient and attractive, while all activities that could cause conflicts are removed. By that time nomadic or Fulani herdsmen would have disappeared. |
cuteboy2:sponsoring the grazing bill to establish grazing lands and the routes to be following by the herdsmen in all States cannot work going by the way the herdsmen trespass and the extent many of them have become lawless individuals What federal legislators should advocate is allowing States to come up with rules to guide agriculture - crop and animal production and that will checkmate adverse effects associated with any farming enterprises. In view of this nomadic and free range animal husbandry must be stopped. Local farmers must be empowered and equipped to keep all kinds of domestic animals. |
doing the needful is the answer for the needs of suffering masses! |
From the opinions of many people it is like the Fulani herdsmen are very smart to run and seek refuge in the military barracks after killings and destruction they have done successfully. Probably they are enjoying protection of the security agents which will enable them to regroup and strengthen themselves in preparation for another attacks. |
attacks are ongoing on daily basis as the herdsmen attack and kill the innocent daily |
Abagworo:yeah we have gotten to the point of being more reasonable and to stop playing politics. I am surprised when told in a community that Fulani maize would enter markets before maize of other farmers. While the farmers' farms are being ravaged and destroyed by the herdsmen, Fulani farms are being spared. The people are willingly destroying farmers' means of livelihood to build their own economy. |
Danfuster:Whether we like it or not the time has come for the States to equip indigenous farmers with all they need to practice improved animal husbandry, where animals will be kept in pens and catered for. In the SW Fulani herdsmen are causing the greatest disaster to crop production compared with the effects weather and climate. NOMADIC ANIMAL REARING MUST BE STOPPED! OUR FARMERS SHOULD BE EMPOWERED TO REAR CATTLE BY THEMSELVES! |
Danfuster:I think the secret behind establishment of cattle ranches and grazing reserves across the country for the herdsmen is to plant Fulani everywhere and predispose some States and LGAs to communal crises that can spark up violence and if possible result in attempts to claim and posses lands of their hosts. The trend of Fulani violence in States like Benue, Taraba, Plateau, others are a strong warming that unsuspecting communities and tribes are sleeping with burning coals inside roofs of their buildings. Those who are educated among the people keep saying the herdsmen are causing violence because they are illiterate, while the illiterate herdsmen are saying they don't need formal education to rear animals. Interestingly their educated leaders equip and give full protection to the illiterate ones. They are ready to defend them anywhere, but not ready to educate them. |
