Politics / FG School Feeding Program by Rexyl(m): 10:11am On Jun 11, 2016
Every government has its policies which impacts people will feel differently. There are mixed reactions about the school feeding program as some say it is a welcomed development, many say it is unacceptable while few others are not concerned about it.

To me the program is unacceptable because it will make few people enrich themselves by the time they start giving pupils and students foods that are not worth the prices and which on the long run can't add value to our society. Government should have deployed resources to find and work on programs that have economic values. It should come up with policies that can help the system earn and save more, make the environment suitable for all to live and earn a living with ease; it should introduce programs that can help people esp youths to be gainfully employed and make investors and those in private businesses render and deliver good and services with ease and make good profits.

How can the feeding program be effective when teachers are owed salaries for months? Will the country be importing food items if herdsmen are still ravaging farms and destroying crops. Does it come with youth empowerment and wealth Creation? How can those having students or pupils in private schools benefit from it? And how can I benefit when electricity I needed for my Biz is not available?

Government should have saved such money to provide and improve on facilities in schools.

Go and read up on Islam, it is a different religion. Islam is very dangerous even in the west only that attacks are stopped ryt before they happen. those peaceful muslims u see are westernised and naturally peace-loving people. Ask any ex-muslim u know. i love my middle-belt and yoruba muslims though, peace loving people. And pls stop calling northerners uneducated cos the educated ones are the people spearheading these attacks.

Aside religion, Yoruba culture prevails against violence even if it exists and supported by certain "hadit" of Islam. You can't just be violent on religious course and be successful with it. It seems many northern Muslims are morally and religiously enslaved in what they believe and practice. Religion, prayer and fasting don't make people holy and acceptable to Almighty God! The fanatics and violence ones on matters of faith have just got things wrong and that's the reason for their misbehavior.

That's the reason individuals - people and tribes practicing the religion must find a way to shape it by themselves if Saudi Arabia can't help to shape it for civic liberty and peaceful coexistence among various people of different faith.

following that example will make those who get admitted sit up and become serious about their academic pursuits. Candidates who meet both Jamb and institution requirements for admission must be offered admission, but must also be reminded the challenge ahead, 100 level on probation after which whoever falls below the expectation is automatically dropped.

No need selling forms for non existing vacancies which is fraud or corruption and couldn't in anyway make the system progress.

How can you just meet somebody online and he proposed to you that he was going to help you to US, you agreed. You didn't only agree but you left the South-East and traveled far to the Maiduguri (North- East) for same purpose. Maiduguri of all places, my guy you are too desperate and can do anything to achieve your aim.

Just thank God you came out alive cause your greediness could have landed you to your early grave.

the young man should have dissipated energy looking for medicine that can cure desperation and engaged in activities that can offer him happiness right inside his state or town.

So disgusting that he was forced to renounce his faith and accept Islam at gun point. Muslim world should address this terrible stain - use of force on others to change faith and accept the religion through evil scheme and manipulation.

Many pastors today are self-ordained and ignorant of Christian faith they claim to profess. This kind of mess is inevitable when you give the job to a kid. To be frank many pastors are kids in Christian faith. They are ignorant of the Bible principles and their behavior is childish.

However those who are not childish but still misbehaving are far from being spiritual. Those who fall to this category are carnal minded, leading congregation astray, and must be avoided. The Bible says you shall know them by their fruits.

Common This Is Only Possible Cause Islam Don Have "New Testament Quran" If They Did Maybe They Would Peaceful Now Christianity Is Only Peaceful Cause They Try To Build Their morals From The New Testament I Tell If It Wasn't For That Christianity Will Be Worst Than Islam

SO MUSLIMS WHEN R U GUYS GONNA BRING UR OWN NEW TESTAMENTS NA ??JUST USE STYLE AND SAY U FOUND A LONG LOST BOOK OF MOHAMMED BLA BLA BLA

That's the reason why New Testament was not a calculated approach by mortal and imperfect human being. It was God's provision to renew and fulfill the covenant He made with Abraham. God's plan for redemption of mankind started with the old testament and was completed and perfected with the new testament.

God has revealed his plan with the provision of the new testament. What comes after this is the end of all things followed by God's judgment of evil.

certain things are better discussed in parable. Any agenda meant to cause disaffection in the country would fail, whether it comes through front or backdoor.

Please, understand facts before you cast aspersions or judge. Don't criticise for criticism sake.

By the time that section of the Constitution (CFRN 1999) is amended, here are the implications:

1.) All persons within the jurisdiction where Sharia law is applicable will be subject automatically to Sharia laws. For instance, a person who commits adultery in the FCT (if the proposed bill eventually includes FCT) will be punishes according to Sharia laws not the Penal Code.

2.) Some acts which are treated as mere sins in Christianity will be criminalised under the Sharia.
For instance, under Islam, blasphemy against Mohammed or Allah will attract death sentence but under Christianity nobody kills you for blaspheming against Christ/God. So, the moment that bill is passed into law & you as a Christian live in any of the Sharia jurisdictions, you become subject automatically to the law. There are other instances apart from blasphemy.

3.) Christians and persons of other religious extraction other than Islam in those areas will not enjoy much of their constitutional rights.

Thank you. UNDERSTAND MY POST CLEARLY. IT IS NOT MEANT TO CONDEMN OR CASTIGATE YOU. THIS ACT OF DIATRIBE ON NAIRA LAND BY NIGERIANS IS REACHING A LEVEL OF EXCESSES. GOD BLESS YOU.

the fanatics are not yet satisfied by the blood already shed through same move by boko haram. Almighty God will scatter the plan which is not to pursue his holiness or righteousness, but for political gains putting on religious colouration.

I expect you to answer that simple question , why did GEJ leave office without implementing the so called report ?

He would implement the report if second term was possible. Let me ask you. Why PMB implemented TSA and BVN which were also introduced by Jonathan but not yet implemented before his exit? Jonathan indeed had policies to lead the country in the right direction, take it or leave it.
Politics / Re: Buhari: Confab Report Is For The Archives - Confab Delegates Reacts by Rexyl(m): 9:18am On Jun 04, 2016
My take on the national conference is that the report must be implemented if TSA and BVN of Jonathan policy can be implemented.

Opinions, political, religious, and various interest groups were involved in the National Conference. Therefore the report shouldn't be discarded for the country to move forward

Politics / Re: Statement By Kano Government About The Woman Murdered For Blasphemy by Rexyl(m): 9:07am On Jun 04, 2016
Those murderers must be exposed and made to face justice for the killing. Killing innocent fellow for mentioning name or saying things about someone who has even died many years ago.

This idea of killing ourselves because of an Arab man must be stopped. Let's learn how to be our brother's keeper here. This is Nigerian, not Saudi.

Christians couldn't have ignored issue raised from the observation if it is only one Christian that raised the issue, but according to the Bible, truth can be established by 2 or more witnesses. They are not even 2 or 3 who have seen how things are been maneuvered to secretly introduce and enforce an agenda that would definitely plagued the country sooner or later. These groups of believers can't be wrong!

When similar agenda started during the tenure of OBJ it was tactically defended but somehow and later the resultant evil was unveiled and thousands of people were consumed in the process.

@ Hungerbad and many like you who are ignorant of sensitive issues and waiting for the underlined evil to boomerang again need to grow up and see things beyond your shortsighted eyes. Again you are ignorant if you don't know the the roles of ELDERS in the Bible.
You are either a pretender or liar.

Many of the universities had no choice.

Before Post UTME came around in 2005....many university VC's complained loud and long about how the standard of students entering university was falling drastically...and something needed to be done. When the then Government refused to listen to them...that is when they brought in Post UTME.

Anyway....the problem really is not JAMB/POST UTME .....but the bad nationwide failing standards in primary and secondary education in Nigeria. Our schools are failing our kids.

primary and secondary schools are failing students and can't offer the best we could have expected from our youths. Alas! Universities and other higher institutions have worsened the situation with the introduction of post utme. Imagine one university last year, after the conduct of post utme introduced new courses and advertised another utme which initially was N4000 to register. The moment application was increasing, they increased the fees to N6000 and ended up registering 25,000 candidates for only 2,500 vacancies. So far higher institutions in Nigeria are creating opportunities for biz, not for quality education and competent products.

Rejecting the scraping of Post UTME but clamoring for the abolishing of JAMB itself is the height of foolishness and ignorance.

I wonder why universities and other higher institutions are allowed to repeat same exams meant for same purpose. And they have done this for higher costs for years.

POST UTME IS UNFAIR AND MUST BE SCRAPPED ONCE. A WELCOMED DEVELOPMENT IF SCRAPPED. Post utme is for money making by higher institutions conducting the exam.
