BusinessRe: Mohammed Indimi Didn't Donate $14Million To Lynn University by Rhea: 8:34pm On May 23, 2016
Philanthropy is not magic. It is not a phantom. It is as obvious as a pimple on rita dominic's face or a fart in an elevator or as fuel scarcity in lagos. If it is there, you will see it and observe its effect. All these people publishing figures of this scholarship and that scholarship are just talking thrash. If Indimi wants to be philanthropic, he should build a hospital and offer free healthcare services to indigent people. He can also build a primary school and offer free education to all students that attend. He can build a university and offer subsidized education to students. When they start doling out N100m for this foundation or that foundation, they are simply recycling money. If you want to give as a philanthropist, give in a way that is obvious and unequivocal.

RomanceRe: Why A Guy Should Not Marry A Girl His Age by Rhea: 8:12pm On May 23, 2016
marvelck:
Since women naturally age faster than men, its not advisable for a guy to marry a girl his age or within his age range. Guys need to marry girls they are far older than with at least 10 years, so that when she's aging everything will still be balanced. You can still be enjoying her breast, and also admiring her full waist line for a long time to come. Compare to when you marry a girl that's only 3 or 5 years younger than you. Before you know it, she'll start looking older than you apart from adding weight anyhow after giving kids. So, let there a space of like 10 years between you and the girl you want to marry, just like fathers used to do it in the past.
So what if your wife looks older than you? Are you married to her looks or married to her? Some people are still living in a very carnal world. Na so una dey take marry mamiwater, she go enter house carry you put inside fanta bottle, put am over kerosene fire, begin dey stoke the fire any how any how

You never see anything.
I did my NYSC in Edo state. Got posted to Oredo LGA, the capital, Benin City.
I stayed at the Corpers' Lodge at Ekae, a small town at the outskirts of the city, along Sapele road.

Right from the orientation camp, we were advised not to mess around with the indigenous ladies. At Ekae, We were shown a young dude who served in Benin few years ago. Got involved with a local damsel, and has refused to leave that village ever since, even though he had been unemployed throughout the period. Every effort by his family to retrieve him had been abortive.

I gathered the women love with all they got. But once you try to play smart, it doesn't usually end well.
Which year did you finish your nysc?

CrimeRe: Nigerian Jailed For 20 Years In Indonesia by Rhea: 4:13pm On May 23, 2016
ceo247frolic:
A Nigerian national identified as Arinze Eneh has been sentenced to 20 years in jail and fined Rp1.2 billion for facilitating narcotic drug distribution.

"Arinze was proven to have conspired to commit an evil act by becoming a facilitator in the distribution of Category I narcotic drug," chief judge of the West Jakarta district court, Bambang Mursito, said while reading out the verdict on Wednesday, May 18.

In view of that, the panel of judges that had considered all the facts disclosed during the sessions, sentenced the 38-year-old to 20 years in jail and imposed a fine of Rp1.2 billion. If he fails to pay the fine, he will have to serve six months more in jail.

Upon hearing the verdict, the state prosecutor, Nugraha, said he was yet to make up his mind whether to accept it or not. The prosecutor had asked for a death sentence.

Through his lawyer, Arinze Petrus Eneh said he was satisfied with the judges decision but said he, too, has to decide whether to appeal.

"In principle, we are satisfied with the verdict. However, we would think and consider about appealing it," the lawyer, Dolfie Rompas, said.

Arinze alias Zona, along with Tuti Sudartika alias Dede Rosa and Rojali Pajar Saputra (the two were tried under different dossiers), were involved in a case of illegal possession of 6.3 kilograms of methamphetamine.

Arinze, who is currently being held at Salemba Penitentiary in Central Jakarta in a narcotic case still under judicial process, was ordered by a man named John (still at large) to pick up narcotic drug from China and bring it to Indonesia.

He then asked Tuti and Rojali, (earlier informed by David, at large) to carry out the job. The drug, weighing 6.3 kilograms, was smuggled in a thermos flask through a Covenant Logistic expedition in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, and then kept in a kiosk in Cibinong, Bogor, West Java.

The state prosecutor has charged all the suspects with violation of Law Number 35 of 2009 on narcotics because they attempted to commit an evil act of smuggling a narcotic substance by becoming facilitators in the distribution of drugs and therefore deserved a death penalty.

The entire boko haram issue was a golden opportunity capitalized on by some elite corrupt Nigerians to siphon government resources in the fight against terrorism. However, they had to nurture the monster into the hydra headed monster that it is today in order to justify the millions that have been funneled into the procurement of arms that never happened. The military leaders in Nigeria do not want an end to the crisis. How else can they justify all the millions and billions that have been channeled to them. A nation at peace cannot justify a hefty defense budget. This is a lesson learned from thr west. First we started off with the fight against pipeline vandals during when millions were siphoned into the creeks with the guise of securing pipelines. Gunboats and military logistics became booing business for generals in the military. Yar Adua cam in and scuttled that plan with the amnesty program. The same group of people then focused on boko haram, nurtured the whole issue into a hydra headed monster and then used it as a guise to milk the country dry. Now that boko haram is gaining genuine attention, the theatre of abracadabra is now been shifted toward the creeks again and if care is not taken, towards the south east, either in the guise if securing pipelines again or fighting cattle raiders. If you study what has been happening in the US in the last 20 years, you will see a correlation. Create a center of chaos, drum up war and then funnel billions into a phantom fight against terrorism.
This is not to say that terrorism does not exist. However, one has to understudy how certain elements nurture their situations to metamorphose into a situation that results int he financial enrichment of a few.

Science/TechnologyRe: Manatee Caught By Fishermen At Obuamu River In Rivers State (Photos) by Rhea: 3:38am On May 20, 2016
popesam1:
A big ass aquatic creature known as"Manatee" caught at obuama river yesterday by two fishermen.

Here are what you don't know about this Big Creature. "Manatee"

Manatees are thought to have evolved from four-legged land mammals more than 60 million years ago. Except for the Amazonian manatee, their paddle like flippers have vestigial toenails— a remnant of the claws they had when they lived on land.
The Amazon species name "inunguis" is Latin for "without nails." The name manatee comes from the Taíno (a pre-Columbian people of the Caribbean) word manatí, meaning "breast."

Manatees' eyes are small, but their eyesight is good. They have a special membrane that can be drawn
across the eyeball for protection. Their hearing is good too , despite not having outer ear structures,
because manatees have large inner ear bones.

Manatees' only teeth are called marching molars. Throughout a manatee's life, the molars are
constantly replaced — an adaption to their diet of abrasive vegetation. Manatees have only six neck
vertebrae. Most other mammals, including giraffes, have seven. As a result, manatees cannot turn their
heads sideways, and must turn their whole body around to look behind them.

Algae, photosynthetic organisms, often grow on manatees' skin. Manatees never go on land.
Manatees don't always need to breathe. As they swim, they poke their nose up above the water's
surface to catch a few breaths every few minutes. If they are simply resting, they can stay under the
water for 15 minutes without taking a breath, according to National Geographic.

Back in the days, our parents would buy lots of fresh tomatoes and dry them up and store for use during the dry season. They actually make the stew quite red and concentrated. I prefer the taste to that of fresh tomatoes because it tastes like a match between fresh tomatoes and canned tomatoes. The art of drying tomatoes is lost mores so now that most girls/women do not even know how many cooking pots they have in the house
