Family / Re: My Husband Is Cheating On Me With Our Neighbor! Hurting Real Bad by Rhea(f): 5:15am On Jun 05, 2019
Needtolove:
Hi nairalanders this post is going to be quite disorganized, as I am not such a good writer. Just need an avenue to let our some steam. No advise needed too. The only way forward for me is to quit my marriage.

The reason for this write up is to ease the pain of betrayal that comes from my husband cheating on me with a our neighbor, what really hurts is that after I investigated and found out her identity, I presented him with hard evidence ,instead of an apology he said he is an African man o and polygamy is allowed. He says I should better mind my business as the said girl is not disturbing me. He further stated that the girl is crazy o, so I should not even think of confronting her

Just this morning she had the nerve to come to my apartment with her room mate to clarify some house issues. The nerve of all of them. Really want to make them pay. Really want to make my husband suffer.
This guy body shames me at any chance he gets. (I have a four month old baby) he says am ugly and shapless, and my breast are flat

I want African men to know that women have feelings too, am expected to bottle up my pain and be a woman. When I react violently he calls me mad woman. He is still with her and I am still expected to mind my business.
I will though, but they will both get it.

The man is no longer interested in your relationship. Just pack and leave before he gangs up with his latest chick against you. He does not deserve you, neither do you deserve his stupidity. There is no room for prayers, understanding, dialogue or any of that rosy BS. Get out when you can. Focus on your career or business. Develop one if you have not done so.

And for any woman here who sacrifices their career or business for marriage or for a man, You are sacrificing the only thing that most men respect in women (financial independence). Do not give that up. Even if it means kiosk in front of the house selling 7up.

Hello People,

Please, I am very confused right now, I just came home and met my wife watching porn comfortably in the living room, I walked in and she acted as if nobody entered, she was feeling completely relaxed.

However, for the past three years, we have been having one misunderstanding or the other, each time I am the one that initiates the settlement- And in most of the cases, she never allow me close to her or sleep together in our room, I always go to the other room to avoid trouble. We live in Europe.

Three weeks ago she started again, and she repeated send me to the single room, I left her, and I did not try to settle unlike before.

I came back home now to meet her watching porn.
I don't even know if it is her right, or I should ask why or just ignore her.

Thanks

Did she find the password to your phone? cheesy cheesy grin grin

DonFebzyBlog:
The worst part that morning was that there were several other people that their things were stolen also and they had to call police. The stuffs of chisco started pointing fingers to we Nigerians that use to come and sleep at the park. I had to tell them that my phone was stolen also and that I was travelling back to Nigeria the next day which was why I slept in the park. I showed them my passport and told them that I was just waiting for the money someone wants to send for me to buy my bus ticket at Chisco so they didn't really do much but now asked all of us to leave and never return there to sleep except we want to travel. My people that was how I was thrown into the main street in the circle of Accra and that place is just like ikeja underbridge in Lagos were anything can happen. I had no phone and I could not communicate with anyone again. My money had already gone down and all I could imagine was hunger, starvation, mad man looks, and probably death very soon. Where do I go and where can I see help. I practically just carried my bag and and went to the back of the park so sit down were those Nigerian guys normally stay. The worst part was that non of them had a house. All of them were just in the street living from hand to mouth. They can't even help because they are equally looking for who to help. So a Nigeria lady that sells indomie offered me space in her little shop to keep my bag safe and I can always go and join the guys to sleep in one empty small store at night. Even though the mosquitoes there were the worst I have ever since because there is a very big canal close to that place, finding a place to just lay your head was the hope I had. Now for some time now I had not slept on a mattress not to talk about bed. It has been bare floor with carton we just put on the floor or bench.

Like play like play I was there for weeks and I think even up to a month living on coded street begging. I deviced a format I was also using to beg with my innocent face. I will start talking like who wants to cry. I will tell them that I was into 3d wall decor and I was invited to Ghana for a job only for the person to abandon me in a hotel and I got stranded so I am just trying to raise money to go back home. The bad thing was that not everyone will definitely answer you and even if they do they hardly give more than 5ghc because most times its less. So you can imagine how many people I will have to beg to get up to 10ghc in a day for me to eat well and be okay. I also had to bath and use the toilet once a day because it cost money to do that. Sometimes I had to leave the bathing matter because that 1ghc is one plate of banku with palm nut soup without fish or meat.

It wasn't easy but somehow I was always grateful to God that each day that passes, I was able to at least eat banku without fish or anything. The days were the begging gives me up to 20ghc I will be glad because I could each good food with fish or meat. I could barb my hair and at least still look a little normal.

As time went by I happened to discover there is a winners chapel church somewhere in the North industial area of Accra. I located the place and behold this was were I met another set of Nigerian guys in another world of suffering entirely. They only good thing now was that the area was more peaceful and safer compared to that circle and they had access to use the toilet and bathroom inside the church very early in the morning and a little late at night before they close the church gate. So I made friends with them and moved from getto to GRA lol.

Please check next page for the continuation as your many comments are pushing the stories to different pages.

I am not sure what someone with an above-average-level command of written english in nigeria today would end up in a ghetto in Accra. Good story, just does not add up.

Optimus212:

Hi Nairalanders....Please Admin, help me push to Front Page, i'm in dire need of people's opinions.

Pls ignore my writing skills because the way the matter be, my head dey shake like this. undecided

My story is brief.

I am married to my wife & we're blessed with 3 kids,
..My wife starves me of sex over minor issues, even when we've settled by my apologies & me assisting remarkably well in house chores.
There was a period 2 years back she starved me of sex for 4 months because of one little misunderstanding we had back then which was unbearable for me & made me to cheat on her,..And my relationship lasted for more than a year with that lady.

Right now she (my wife) has started again with same attitude, its going to a month now. I am confused because I don't want to cheat on her again. What do i do? Should i keep facing such punishment? For how long? Or, should i file for a divorce? Don't you think such attitude will have reoccurrences in time coming?. It is disturbing me badly because I find it difficult to be sleeping alone at nite without her by my side. I have begged & begged her to let whatever anger towards me that is deposited in her to just die off, yet to no avail. The funny thing is, we'll discuss and play very well before going to bed but, whenever I start making advances towards her, she shows up a different attitude.

I am confused!! It is really really disturbing me. How & where did I go wrong?.

Pls, matured advices only, you can insult me too, of course its Nairaland but, I need serious advice, I am very worried.
Thanks.

It's no news that Lagos State and some states in Nigeria have new leaders and its a season of good tidings and turn around as Nigerians hope and wish for. The former Lagos State Gov., Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has laid a legacy which we hope and believe that the new administration will follow.

During the swearing in of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the new governor of Lagos State, he was the center of all eyes especially the moment when he entered the beast, The Range Rover Sentinel. This is the same car the Mr. Ambode used and same he handover to Mr. Sanwo-Olu.

These are the moment the new governor was entering, alighting with his family.

AutoReportNG got some exclusives of this beast called Range Rover Sentinel tagged LASG 01 and it may interest you too that the deputy governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat too uses Range Rover Sentinel tagged LASG 02. We are opportuned to see the moment he highlights from the car.

The first and second family were pictured at the Lagos State House, Marina Lagos immediately after the swearing ceremony which held at TBS on May 29th 2019.

There is nothing new here. These kidnappers and their proteges have been terrorizing that particular axis of Imo, Rivers, Abia since 2005. The police are also aware of their hideouts. We only get to hear about them when a high profile victim is kidnapped, and the police has been mobilized by the victim's family to swing into action. If not for the footballer's mother case, this cockroach would still be out there kidnapping.

Family / Re: My Wife And I Are Keeping Malice! by Rhea(f): 3:15am On May 30, 2019
emerald16:
My wife has been really helpful from when we started dating, she has actually taken me from grass to grace and helped me from a self contained to a 3bedroom flat. She has been helping with house expenses for over a year now, I do work but my salary is very small, just around 60k.

She is into business which flourished so much but it's a little down for now. She helped made our marriage possible by contributing far more than i. She is every woman's dream and is even poised to help me secure a better job and a side business.

I have also contributed my part in helping her grow her business though not financially but through technical support, expert advice and more as she just started her business the very month we started dating but though in a small way with very little capital.

I feel I have over burdened her with my own problem and she is carrying way too much on her shoulders cos her parents and siblings are also depending on her.
I felt a pinch of her frustration when I asked her if she could help transfer a little sum of 200 naira to me for airtime, she was about doing it when I told her I actually wanted to send the amount as airtime to my dad, then she flared up saying she will take care of me, herself and even my parents! I felt bad and terrible cos I rarely ask her for money to send to my people except on very rare occasions which are but a few.

I kept mute and didn't feel like talking to her and we haven't exchanged a proper conversation since last night when it happened.

What do I do? Even when I try to initiate a conversation, she doesn't seem interested

First of all, I applaud you for acknowledging the numerous positive traits about your wife. You won a lottery when you married that woman. You are one of the lucky few out there. Treat her like a queen, or you will lose her before you can spell your name. You need to make every effort ro reconcile with her. There is no room for malice here, unless you wan sleep for office. You need to acknowledge your wife in person just like you did to us on this forum. Let her know you truly appreciate all she has done and continues to do for your family. You need to sit down with her and discuss what your financial responsibilities as a couple is. Does she also send airtime to her parents? Do you plan as a family to earmark some amount to send to your parents every month? Are you able to afford that after your expenditure in your family? These are things to ask yourself and also discuss with her. It is frustrating to labour morning to night and have some of that dough being siphoned to third parties (YES, your parents are third parties in your marriage). If your wife makes more than you, there is nothing wrong with that. You just have to stash your manly ego inside dustbin, humble yourself and play your role as a good husband.

A man who works as a PA has taken to social media to cry out for help after his Director at work threatened to sack him for denying her sex.

In his narration on a Facebook group, the man identified as Frank Onyekachukwu stated that he started as a driver in the organization, despite being a graduate. He was driving the manager before he was assigned to the director who found out he was a graduate and then elevated him to the position of a Personal Assistant.

She however wanted him to sleep with her so he could keep his job

I have a problem at my place of work and I don’t know how to handle it. I was employed in a company last two years as a driver though am a graduate of chemical engineer but based on that’s no job in the country I have to accept the driving job in other to survive.

I was a driver to the manager of the company for 6months and from there I got to know the director of that company a ( WOMAN ) but she is a widow, one faithful evening the company had a board meeting in EKO HOTEL which ended up around 11pm and director didn’t come with her driver that night then the manager told me to drive the director home that 9it that he can drive himself.

I did as he told me which the director started using me as her own personal driver for 2months bfor she got to know that am a graduate and she changed my position from driver to her personal assistant and pays me very well as a graduate and employed another driver.

My major work now is to follow her with company’s documents when ever she is going for a meeting within the country.

The issues now is that she is forcing me into sleeping with her which I turned her down several times and she threatened me to resign or she will sack me by herself if I didn’t agree with her conditions from the company.

The story is much but because of time I have to stop here.

Plz friends advise me on what to do am depressed right now.

For God's sake, people in hospitals are in dire need of hearts, lungs and kidneys. Even brain transplants are possible these days. So why not sacrifice your life and body to save another, for the greater good of humanity since you feel you're no longer useful to the society? My husband said he doesn't think he is the father. I assured him that he is and that he should get a DNA test to confirm. But he refused.

I rented a 2 bedroom flat somewhere close to my office. This is where I currently stay. Since leaving my husband's house I have only received a phone call from him where he stated the date that he and I were going to visit my parents who are currently in my village. He told me that if I wasn't going to come, he'd go alone and tell them what happened and why he decided to divorce me.

I feel like my life is over. I can't face my parents and tell them what I've done. It's very shameful. I can't even face my friends and relations. I feel like I'm drowning a pool of shame and despair. I can't imagine being a single mother at this age. I love my husband and I enjoyed our marriage. I can't imagine it all being over.

I called my colleague and told him everything. He said that I shouldn't hold him responsible for anything since our rendezvous was based on mutual consent. He said he doesn't want to have anything to with me and we should keep our relationship at work very platonic so as not to raise eyebrows of those who might link him to what happened with me.

I'm utterly hopeless. I feel like taking my life. I almost took this action yesterday but I pitied my children. But with every passing day I feel like suicide is the only way to end my pain. I wish I had listened to those people who advised me to keep what I did a secret. I wanted to, but every time I was with my husband I felt I was constantly betraying him by hiding the truth from him. I just want to die. I can't bare this pain anymore.

What is done is done. Now is the time to look forward and not backward. Focus on your children. Your husband needs time to take in all you have told him. But your marriage/relationship with him will never be the same again. That is guaranteed. He will always be wondering who else you have slept with. And he will not give a rat's a$$ when next he is tempted to cheat on you. He will now feel like he has a multiple visa to cheating on you. That is part of the reason I believe your relationship with him is doomed. This is not a time to contemplate suicide or any of that stupid stuff. It is a time to move on and move forward. Since you have a job, make the best of it. Maximize your effort as a breadwinner. You will need all of that in the foreseeable future. Whatever lessons this transgression has taught you, should serve you a lifetime. Someday, you will find another relationship to nurture. And when you do, protect it and take it seriously.
