So you now decided to expose your fellow PDP thiefiery governor Orji Theodore The Thief Orji Okosisi. Did you lose your tongue when you were governor of Akwa Ibom for 8yrs? How come you sat back in deadly silence while victims upon victims languished and met their death in these underground dungeons you so purport exist? What action did you take as state governor to rid your own state of the kidnap epidemic? Unfortunately, Nigerians get what they deserve, with your caliber of animals occupying our hallowed chambers and ranting rubbish unceasingly. |

Team16: Please oga se.un help me push to the front thread cos I need to reply this mail today.
I have a B.Sc Industrial Chemistry ( 4.01/5), Pgd Chemical Engineering ( Distinction ).
I applied for a Canadian admission for MSc.E Chemical Engineering. Normally for your admission to be successful you need to secure a supervisor whose research interest is similar to yours. I have done that and he encouraged me to apply. I submitted my application and after going through my application with other supporting documents like letter of motivation and others, he sent me a mail this afternoon that they want to consider me PhD instead of MSc I applied for. I'm very confused right now if to accept it or not considering high standard of education abroad as I use to hear, I haven't experienced foreign education before, this is my first. Please note my ultimate goal is to obtain a PhD. Please help me push to the front thread cos I need advice from experienced Nigerians who have studied abroad. Thanks. I appreciate It all depends on your aspiration in life. If you want to work in the industry, then the MSc may suit you more. However, if you want to be a subject matter expert, then the PhD is better. Takes longer, requires more dedication, patience and focus but you will get paid. You will also teach during your PhD. I would go for the PhD anyway. That gives you 4 years visa in Canada after which you are very close to obtaining their citizenship status. |

Career › Re: Masters Or Stay On Job? by Rhea: 11:29pm On May 03, 2016 |
bicmitchum: This is a point in my life where I really need other opinions about my pending decision. Here are the points:
-I graduated first class some years ago after completing studies at the University of Lagos -Secured numerous masters admission with and without scholarship and intended to go for masters immediately, but got an attractive job offer with an oil multinational. Took the job offer. -I've worked now about 4+ years with this multinational and the going has been incredibly terrific. Even with the incredible layoffs in my company and in the oil industry, it looks very likely I'll continue to keep my job. -Every year I have continued to apply for masters in universities abroad given my intention to really acquire a masters and possibly a PhD degree. Never once accepted any of the offers I have been getting. Simply ignored them. As the years rolled by, the offers are no longer coming as usual. I'm getting turned down by schools. -This year I have now obtained an offer to complete my masters at the No.1 ranked university in Canada, my desired destination. The only offer I got among the top schools I applied to. No scholarships. -I'm yet unentitled to study leave
Here's the question: do I quit my job and go complete this masters in a really reputable school or do I stay back in Nigeria and continue slugging it out in the oil industry? Who knows what will come of the industry as the oil price continues to flutter? Who knows how my future might turn out if I leave to go chase the masters?
Here's my decision: Work is getting boring as time races on. I'm not getting any younger. I'm in my very late twenties. I should quit, go chase my masters and embrace any uncertainty that may come out of that. If I'm unable to secure an attractive job I'll go with academics for life whether in Canada or in Nigeria. I might even secure a Canadian citizenship. Canada is a lovely destination where I don't mind spending a large chunk of my life.
My worry: I have a comfortable life here. Why shake the bottle? Why stir the pot? Racism is still rife in these "white" countries. My life could get unbearable mixing in a culture I'm not familiar with.
Any inputs, please. Please do not go for any master program. Sit down on your job and develop on the job. Climb the career ladder and consolidate your financial position. Your masters degree will not add an iota to your job satisfaction. Your workplace will not appreciate that masters degree so much as to approve a commensurate increase in salary. Trust me, I have been in your shoes and can categorically tell you that you should not quit a job in a multinational oil company in Nigeria for any masters degree program unless you are in a contractor position and not a permanent staff. Don't! Don't!! Don't quit your job!!! Grass is always green on the other side until you cross over and realize it's all concrete painted green |

Health › Re: I Am Only 24 And I Am Diagnosed Of Impotency, Why Is Life So Unfair? by Rhea: 9:39pm On Apr 10, 2016 |
grossintel: While growing up I felt so different and did things differently. Naturally I am an introvert, my class mates in sec school would say I have a unique way of doing things. I felt so cool about myself expecially the ability to control how I feel generally. I am very handsome and the kind of guy girls easily throw themselves at, again I felt my ability to resist certain temptations was because I had self control. Growing up in a Christian home their are things we don't ask mom and dad, I would look at Lil bro and notice I had a smaller scrotum but I didn't feel something was wrong with me. All these years I never understood I had a real problem. Am all grown now but I can't keep a relationship!! My siblings will always crack a joke about how unlucky I was with finding a good date. First time I got a girlfriend, very loving and caring young girl. We started off for 2yrs without sex. It wasn't a problem for me I don't know what sex feels like but it was to her and she wanted it badly I knew I would loose her if I don't and she began to wonder if I was a man. First time we tried sex I couldn't get erected, I felt it was anxiety and she was supportive. Second and third was worse but we kept trying. She had to tell me to see a doctor fast because I am not okay. Sex ended up being an issue and we broke up. I dated two other girls and the last girl said it to my face "YOU ARE IMPOTENT" And that was when it occurred to me this is serious. I went to see a urologist and after the blood test it was confirmed I had low T. Low testosterone below normal. I couldn't believe I had a problem like this until I did a sperm analysis. I had oligospermia!! 95% abnormality. Further test showed I had Hypogondasim, it's yet unknown if it's secondary or primary Hypogondasim. I knew I had gone down that road where u look back and ask life What did I do to deserve this? How do I convince a girl to even accept to marry me? Is their really a God? Why am I a man if God won't give me what I need to become a man. Every solution I have heard so for is impractical, expensive or ridiculous. Imagine injecting testosterone for 6 months before ur fit to make love to your wife? Or injecting my penis to stay up before sex? Alpha blockers like viagra has no effect on me at all. Apart from sexual performance secience is yet to understand male fertility and alot of things will be tried on me, this could take years!!! If it's so simple as doctor's will easily say why are their cases of 25yrs without a child some never have a child and just adopt. Why are their so many drugs and injections if one thing works. Am at the bridge of taking my life, I see no point making all these money and sit down in an empty house sad and lonely. When you wake up in the morning, are you hard down there? If you are, then you have psychological impotence. If you are not, then you may have physiological impotence. If you have been diagnosed with oligospermia, you can manage that with testosterone supplements. You sound like a well-educated guy with a good job, so I can assume that you are already dealing with a licensed physician. If you can afford a trip overseas, then do so and schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist. There are dime and dozens of them in the US. They will guide you in managing your predicament. Many have worse issues than you do. So you should not lose any sleep over this. Take care of this and your social relationships will fall in line accordingly. You may also watch out for that girl who is close to you now despite your predicament. Remember her when you sort yourself out. |
Romance › Re: Should I Worry About Her Size? by Rhea: 7:08pm On Apr 10, 2016 |
sirhot: Hmmm... Should I say I've fallen or I fell but then I have this friend I'm getting used to but she has a tendency of becoming very fat! I like her personality, her drive, her intelligence but her size worries me.
Her sisters are all fat and when I noticed this i started talking to her about reducing her weight which she has agreed and is currently working on it! I don't like fat girls but iI'm worried she might not be able to reduce much since it's somehow genetic. She was already getting big but has started reducing. But I'm still worried especially after child birth, she might explode!
Should I overlook this for the other good qualities of hers? Why can't i have everything in one package? Advice please. First of all, you will not find any woman that will satisfy your criteria 100%. Also note that most women gain the most weight after child birth. So if she is fat now, she will be fatter when she's had kids. That woman has not been born. Some will advice that if you get 70%, go ahead. The size of a woman is honestly the least of your problems assuming she's got most of the other qualities intact. If you are looking for lekpaa, then you better call this relationship quits. If she was the only fat one in the family, then you can talk of genetics. If they are all fat in their family, then ask them what they eat. Every weight gain is a result of eating more than the body can metabolize. That is why you never see a fat girl that lives in a bacha or a face me I face you. So if she puts her mind to losing weight, she can get that done. All she has to do is to eat less. It is so simple we all like to believe it is complicated |

FeminineSniper: There is no rash and also I'm not on any medication at the moment. cos I thought it was lice at first, then I bought all I needed to buy ranging from hair shampoo to sterilizing my clothes bed spread and towels etc. yet it persisted Since you do not have any rashes, the cause of your itch is most likely systemic than localized (it may not be a skin issue). Common causes of generalized systemic itching include diabetes, iron deficiency and jaundice. Are your eyes yellow? Are you getting more thirsty lately? Do you wake up more than usual at night to pee? Is your palm and nailbeds getting less red? |

Health › Re: Help : I Underwent Appendectomy, I Haven't Been The Same Again by Rhea: 3:48am On Apr 08, 2016 |
Daninya11: In 2011,I was diagnosed with Appendicitis. I underwent surgery to remove the ruptured appendix. It's 5 years now and I still feel uncomfortable.
Before these time, I can stay up to 2 days without using the loo. I hardly experience any form of stomach pain or rumbling noise in my stomach. But after undergoing Appendicectomy, I can hardly eat or drink water without experiencing mild or severe stomach pain, stomach noise and using the loo up to 5 times a day.
I also find it difficult digesting some food like pounded yam as I end up with constipation. I usually throw-up after eating draw soup like ogbono, okro and ewedu. I also feel dizzy when I consume fatty food.
Are all these, the aftermath of undergoing Appendicectomy??.. The mild pain you experience after drinking water may be due to adhesions (the most common complication of any open abdominal surgery). Unfortunately there is no cure for it. You just have to manage the symptoms with medications, because more surgery increases adhesions. The constipation is due to a number of factors: inadequate water and fiber intake in your diet, lack of exercise or living a sedentary life, stress etc. It is normal to feel sleepy after a meal due to a diversion of blood from the brain to the gut during digestion. That is why most people take a nap after a meal. However dizziness is another issue altogether. If you are nauseated, you may want to check your liver and gall bladder status. A ruptured appendix is a major issue and often presents with complications. As already suggested, see a licenced physician |

remzytimer: My son's scrotum occasionally swells, it happen for hours or more at time when he was two years and it stopped, we thought it has gone but surprisingly it happened yesterday again....pls I need medical advise. Your son may have an inguinal hernia; that is a connection between his abdominal cavity and his scro.tum through which his bowels enter the scr.otal sac. You need to see a physician who will most likely refer you to a surgeon. It is a very easy fix surgically, although in Nigeria everything is complicated. |
