Politics / Re: I Approved DSS Raids & Arrest Of Judges - AGF, Malami Abubakar Says by Ribaman(m): 8:00pm On Nov 30, 2016
Your position is right.
One question though, haven't you noticed that there are 2 trials going on? The media trial and the real trial?

SillyMods:
We asked the judges, the lawyers and defenders of corrupt judges to clearly state the part of our Constitution that was breached in the DSS raid. Till date, NO ONE has been able to give an answer.

When looters steal our common wealth, they don't think of the rule of law they break in committing the crime.

They use a fraction of their loots to compromise the judges who are suppose to punish them for their crime, neither the bribed judges nor the looters consider the laws they're breaking.

And when we're lucky to have a president who is ready to bring looters to justice through any means necessary, they and their shameless supporters start to talk of one useless rule of law.

If there are no other reasons apart from the fight against corruption and insurgency to campaign for Buhari in 2019 , those two are enough for me to do so.

Mujtahida:

I guess all that you have heard about Hitler is that he's the most evil man in all history, that he led the world into war and masterminded the killing of six million Jews abi? But just for a moment I want you to consider the possibility, the tiniest possibility that all you have heard about him might not be the truth. I can't start telling what you need to know but I see you are really curious. That's a good sign. It means you have an open mind. Remember that there are usually two or maybe three sides to a story. So apply this to the Hitler narrative and go do your research. You can check tomatobubble. Com, watch the greatest story never told(I have not watched it but I have read reviews. It's on YouTube) as for the holocaust you can read darkmoon . me. Google ernest zundel, Robert Faurisson and many other holocaust deniers. At least you can become aware of another angle to the already accepted version of the historical facts on this issues. Then you can weigh it in a balance and reach your own conclusions. But if you like forbidden history you will enjoy the research. Cheers

I am happy that you are ready to engage in a reasoned and reasonable conversation. I am fully aware of the dangers posed by the retelling of a single side to any story or historical fact. That the genocide occurred, and was occassioned by the Nazi party are facts that can't be denied. I am sure there must a good side to Adolf Hitler, after all all humans have a good side to them.

And what do you know about the real Hitler other than the trope put out by the dominant view of politically correct history? Ever heard about the danger of a single story?

Pray tell that which hasn't been told about Adolf Hitler! I am all ears.

No matter what people says about him he demolished the whole establishment to achieve what no other politician has done before and got a home run against all odds and helped the Republicans to win both house of reps and the senate.

Anyone who still thinks Trump isn't intelligent needs to have his/her head examined.

Adolfo Hitler, leader of the Nazi party, was intelligent. In fact, he won a national election as well. You go figure out the rest.

30 masalachi fa!
It's not fair to the Nigerian child/youth.
In a land that is over-churched and over-mosques, a governor is willing to spend the state's scarce resources on religious edifices. This is from Jigawa state, a state that can't even produce 100 kids with an average score of 40% in our National Common Entrance.

Politics / Re: Buhari Swears In Onnoghen As Acting Chief Justice Of Nigeria by Ribaman(m): 12:13pm On Nov 11, 2016
kropotkin2:
There is no such provision in the constitution that stipulates that the most senior supreme court justice must take over, it is only a tradition that has been adhered to from the beginning. The constitution only mandates that the president appoints a CJN on recommendation from the NJC, and even at that he has the right to reject the nominee and demand for a new name. Buhari merely followed set precedent and not like he had no choice like you falsely insinuate.

Nope, that is not the case in this matter. Buhari sought to abandon the said tradition, at the instigation of some jittery northern judges. Thankfully the outing CJN intervened and common sense won.

Nice one. Buhari the master strategist is swearing him into office in Acting capacity. If he messes up too much, na to reject his nomination. cheesy

And you are actually proud to write such thoughts publicly? Haba, at least pretend in public to be patriotic Nigerian.

Please jail GEJ, if he is tried and found guilty. But do not forget that Nigeria's woes predate GEJ. So make sure you build a spacious and big prison to jail his predecessors as well.

Its not just about winning.
In my humble opinion, Big Sam is what England needs right now.
They have been celebrating the 1966 fluke win for too long, its about time a realistic Manager turned up to give them a wake up kick.
I am his greatest fan, but his appointment may be the wake-up call the 3 Lions have been waiting for .

ATERI:

A manager that rarely wins anything to manage a national team that rarely wins anything. A perfect match!

Your advice is worthless on this forum and your rant is synonymous to that of a wounded dog. Obviously, the intent of all your post is to scare investors away and discredit the stock market which won't and will never work. I understand NSE has seriously dealt a great blow on you before which has made recovery difficult. I will say, don't worry, pick up the pieces and move on. Stop looking at the hole in the doughnut and focus on the doughnut itself. There are plenty of upsides NSE still offer to tough and smart investors who refuse to back down.

I will suggest, at least for once that you post positive news about your country (though i doubt if you are even a Nigerian) and stop spreading negativity because you might develop heart failure very soon.

If you still find my post unhelpful, go hug a transformer grin grin grin

The stark truth remains that the SE excluded itself through the myopic campaign of bigotry and hatred, which ensured their political marginalization in the aftermath of the elections.

I remember all the warnings on NL at the time, now that the hatred that was sown is being reaped in full measure, they're trying to make it seem like PMB's fault.

The ironic thing is that they're still screaming almajiri, slave everywhere instead of building the bridges that would ensure they reclaim their relevance in national politics.

The least that can be done is to allow them wail if they stubbornly refuse to make amends.

I wonder if you actually know the full and proper meaning of "Democracy"? Your rant shows what's really wrong with Nigeria. I pity this country, my country to be precise.

Nah... If you do it right, there is no kalo kalo (Ex Big 4 Auditor here - so I'm not unfamiliar with some coys results)

The most important thing to bear in mind is to have a HUGE margin of safety (MOS)... such that even if the worst happens (Bankruptcy), you should get something at a shareholder.

One of my Margin of Safety Criteria is that except a company has good management (e.g. GT Bank) I do not buy & hold their stock if it trades at more than 2x book value (Only AFRIPRUD is this criteria for now because of their business model and balance sheet).

This makes sense to me when Coys like Diamon Bank (1 million mobile app users) are trading at 0.1x and FCMB at 0.09x book value.

You will only run into problems when you buy inflated valuations. (PS: I am an income investor - every other methodology na counterfeit)

On contrary, only those who do not know what the 'Rule of Law' means would canvas such a position. I am against corruption in the form or shape, but find that the 'Rule of Law' meant to protect us all.

AntiWailer:
Only PDP thieves and iPOB youths will disagree.

There is evidence of billions transferred with account statement and wailers are still screaming witch hunt.

Anybody with money traced to his account and the money belong to the govt should not be granted bail.

This one that Saraki is going to court with 400 lawyers and FBI over loots.

Meanwhile a guy stole 6 goats in the same Ilorin and was beaten to death.

Please save me the one sided fight crap l, if PDP and Jonathan have been doing 1 sided fight against corruption since they came to power at least Tinubu and co would av been jailed and finished their jail term if he was truelly a thief.
