NYCnextStop: Does age matter in processing passport. A friend wants to travel to Canada for studies but the agency said he should decrease his age so he can go for an undergraduate course. Does doing this have any impact in the nearest future Bros you're dealing with a First world country, I won't advice you or your friend to try it, if they find out you risk rejection and maybe ban Why would you flasify your age, don't go and stain your Profile and passport for one dirty studies. You can go through other route Just so you know, informations are shared between countries, you cast for Canada, you go also cast for other countries Nigeria no be Canada |

Calitoscassius: Yes! Due to EU vaccination rules (i am not vaccinated yet) i packed up truck ATM.
It easy but not easy, it is mainly to do with safety, pull the lever and follow the track lines on the computerised screen, some trains are driverless, so all needed to do is announce the stops with a speaker.
WOW! I'll love to see the adventures in writings and Pictures
It's not hard starting a thread, just go to travel section, the too part, you'll see create a new thread, then you name it whatever you want to like ''adventure of a Driver in Europe" or whatever you want to
Then start by telling us how you migrated, where you stay in Europe, how to join the drivers association, train as a driver or truck or train way, you'll attract a lot of views, I promise you
It requires a rigorous health and safety trainings that many have failed. I failed 7 times before passing and cost money, each time you fail you pay again to train. |

Calitoscassius: Someone has suggested that already last year but i don't think i could do it. I mean, i cannot do that while driving i don't even know how to do that. But i can learn and see if i could do it somebody teach me.
At this moment i am not driving and i haven't driven for sometime due to the EU covid 19 restrictions.
I am driving trains at the moment. Trains? Wow! I'll love to see how Nigerian Drivers take on Trains in the Abroad |

antimason: hello guys, I am Abdulkabir from Edo state, my journey into the world of trucks came about after a misfortune I faced, at one time I was a student in Uniben department of Animal science under Agricultural faculty, I left school without differing the admission to travel abroad, An Ill fated trip that got me touring the airport in Turkey waiting for my transit flight to Ukraine.
I later got deported from turkey for fake visa and all my attempts to reintegrate into school proved abortive. hence I was left with either retrying to gain admission or find a way to fend for myself, so having decided to learn a vocation, I was interested in learning computer programming but funds was not available so I had to learn something more cost effective, other handy works I could learn required a certain capital and I was dead broke as I had been abandoned by my father who was my sole sponsor.
so I had to look for a skill to learn, still be earning while learning and have a greater prospect of meeting up with living standards at its culmination. Now I am a certified truck driver currently employed by Ardova plc.
DM me with your questions in anything related with trucks. big man, I'm still a student tho, I'm on break for the now, are you still in Edo state, Benin city? I would love to learn how to drive a truck, was planning on learning how to drive a tractor and forklift after school, kus I'm sure I'll need it in canada Any hopes? |

Elderss: My Odyssey (My One-Day London trip)
I hope this brief mini-adventure helps and informs someone's future decision or dealings with the NHC London.
There have been lots of stories and opinions about passport renewal in the UK. A few of them were positive while many (if not most) reviews were shocking and sad. So, I was prospectively dreading the process should it be my time to renew.
If I had other viable choices, perhaps, I would have considered them. But going back to Nigeria because of passport renewal was a big NO for me.
I applied for my renewal on the 23rd of December, 2020 via the Innovate1 platform. However, little did I know that it won't be possible to pick an appointment date.
Wetin man pikin go do na...I paid; hoping and believing that I will be scheduled for an appointment really soon.
I was not surprised. My biometrics appointment was sent sooner than I expected...I am sure you are now surprised.
An email for biometrics dropped after 7 months, precisely on the 21st of July (some waited 10 months before getting their appointment). No thanks to the pandemic and backlogs of application. The biometrics was scheduled for 27th July, between 11am and 1pm. Though, a 2-week grace period was stated in the email, I was not ready to take chances.
Since I live in one of the towns in far Northwest England, I decided to be a bit creative and take a few risks (thanks to my better-half for encouraging me)
I booked a same day return train ticket to London for 27th July. Left my house at about 5:10am and arrived London Euston at about 10:10am.
It was my second time in London. The first was in 2019. Booked a taxi straight to NHC... Wished I had trekked though. We were just moving at snail speed (traffic lights at almost every 100m). I can't begin to imagine the stress londoners driving a manual transmission go through in the city.
Got to NHC at about 10:48am. As expected, there were some mild naija drama outside the NHC office but nothing too serious. I was just happy to witness the drama as I missed a lot of it since I arrived the Queens land.
I was ushered into the NHC as soon as the staff confirmed my documents were complete. The crowd I met inside almost discouraged me as I practically wanted to ditch the whole process; obviously thinking when it would be my turn for biometrics.
To be honest, the process was quite fast. I left there at about 12:43pm. New Passport to be posted within the next 2 weeks (fingers crossed).
London Palava
Thinking about what to do with my spare time, it was necessary to activate my sight-seeing genes. I walked around and visited the London Eye. The ice-cream sold by the frozen yoghurt van in that area get as e be sha.
From there, I moved to Thames Clippers , swiped my card and enjoyed about a 45-minute River Thames boat cruise to North Greenwich Peninsula (passing under the London Bridge, Tower bridge, showing us the tower of London, the Shard and other historic places). Arriving at the peninsula, had to visit the O2, Emirates Air line cable and experienced some 4D Rollercoaster.
Then, I decided to take 2 bus rides (108 and 15) from the peninsula to Charring cross. From there, I moved to Trafalguar Square where I rested for a while. It was there I also saw the National Gallery.
Finally walked back to London Euston station after window shopping. Train left Lodon Euston at 18:23. Arrived my humble abode at about 23:30.
Do I wanna live in London... NO! NO!! NO!!!♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️ Let the Londoners continue the lord's work there.
Will I be visiting again.. YES! YES!! YES!!! Probably with the family this time.
Lots and loads of places that could not be visited because of time So no pictures to spice up your story?? Your story never complete |
