The post you quoted is the base reason why most suicide occur. OP's write up might sound like he's encouraging suicide, but that school of thought have always been the base reason for all suiciders

Still the same thing. Merely thinking about life critically exposes one to nihilistic realities and these realities do not negate suicide.

My point is simply, what is the advantage of living over death where both are just passing experiences?

Life, in the very least, is supposed to be enjoyed and not survived and where one is constantly living in pain and the capacity to return to normalcy is nonexistent, what then is the point of the life?

Suicide in this case is just like Euthanasia.
