Happy birthday... stay happy always if U can... No one will do that better than yourself... @21,U will still encounter some peer pressures here and there... It's still extremely wonderful to put your clothes on... But if U can't, use protection... |
Oh!!! So that stadium get dressing room? |
What she narrated there was just their typical behaviour... When they were seeking for their children's admission in high schools, They will accept all the curriculum and dress code provided by the school... They will sign everything given to them including school code of conducts... Admit their kids and give them 2weeks, they will bring out their true colours,.. pretending as if they were ignorant of the school uniforms... Why not wear what U want to wear at home and not make others uncomfortable by shoving it on anyone's face.. |
michigang:In other words, the innocent kid got entangled on adult's web.. I understand what U meant.. But I don't know why it doesn't feel right..If I'm in his shoes, I will find an alternative way to score a point or maintain my reputation without involving the kid. That kid is the worst off in this fight.. |
I know that some of these snakes are poisonous... what if they mistakenly ate the poisonous part and die.. How do they even know which part of it's body that doesn't contain poison.. |
In as much as I believed he said this on social media to shut her up forever... Exposing that innocent kid is not the best idea.. In near future, he will understand what his statement/ utterances, the impact of it on that child amongst his peers in playground... |
If he starts forging results @ 19, only God knows what will happen when he gets older... |
Why can't they maintain the one they got?... Even if they build 50 stadia today, it will still look like the old one if there are no maintenance culture.. |
I hope it's not allowed on school environment... Or maybe I don't understand their definition of public |
If U know whom you actually married, U will not be afraid of what people were saying up there... Always make out time to visit whenever you can as U conclude the business in Nigeria... I'm happy for you... The only question I have for U is I hope you were not among those that voted for Buhari into power only to put your wife and kids in the next available plane and run away during the heat.. |
Quick Question OP, why did you identify yourself humble self as female?.. Was that also weed inspiration ![]() |
Kobojunkie:My brother, maybe U should relax and let them tell U how the system work in Nigeria instead of arguing with them... For me abroad homelessness is better than Nigerian homelessness. At least U can walk into a train station and take a free hot shower... There are toilets where a homeless person can relieve his or her self... If U are fortunate enough, some places offers soup kitchens where the homeless people can eat for free... It's not like that in Nigeria.. Coming to the issues of reporting the matters to the police, obviously, U have no idea how they might turn it against her... Either they blame her that she wanted it, she was putting on short skirts or that the Man refused the advances and she wanted to punish him by claiming rape.. it's a society where when U don't have money, U don't have a say or justice... Even as they were stepping into the station, they might be asked to bring money for the pen used in taking down her reports. It is a sorry nation.. They made the country in such a way that a 22yrs still feel incapacitated.. and still dependant.. it's not your fault that U don't understand it or get how a 22yr old will feel helpless.. I understand U totally... |
After reading that, I see it as venting... Maybe I might be mistaken... I will blame old age on my part if that was the new way/ style of ending things nowadays ![]() Based on this matters, maybe someone did not explain it properly to her that When a man got baby mamas,... Those kids will always bring them together...it will always be an excuse for the baby mama to inconvenience or punish the wife using the kids... Some time it was a genuine request that the kids indeed needed their father at that time. Except the type of relationship that ended with violence and a court order was issued for the man to stay some metres apart while coming to check on the kids usually in a public space or under supervision by social worker... |
Teach Nigerians how to use their votes without financial gain involved like bag of rice etc.. |
Klass99:I don't think it got something to do with being married...I think it got a lot to do with individuals and their behaviour...some people are just selfish and mean when trying to put up an appearance before the society... Though some young ladies have misused that word rape.. I wish the society would be a little nicer when rape cases are involved and investigate it properly... That man will soon meet his Waterloo if truly he was perpetrating that dastardly act.. |
I know that school.. I used to like their school anthems those days serving there |
Klass99:Some people are just shameless... A married man won't let a young lady be just because he was housing her... A woman wonderfully keeping mute just because she wants to remain a MRS... |
OP please stop fishing...He got enough problem already... let him be before u pickup stupid statement here and you will go and tell them that it was the reason for his cancer.... Cancer is not in your family indeed... |
Tape recorder... Teach her on how to capture voices on phones without someone noticing..It will help.. incase he wants to deny... teach her how to ask leading questions too as the phone is recording... Things like uncle why are u raping me...no I don't want to.... u have a wife etc. |
I really feel bad for the young lady. It's not really bad to take a gamble on love...But I have no regards for a young woman that cohabits with a man especially in universities and things like NYSC... Yes you can pass the night as a matter of fact, countless times.. yes you can leave your toothbrush, eye pencil etc..to mark your territory but living in the same house together with him has its risk... And this story is just one of them...I wish some people can just learn from this.... When a man who haven't pay your bride price see how you sleep probably dribbling in your sleep, perceived how your sh!t smells daily, etc...Do u still have anything to hide? . |
Imagine...,. after struggling and suffering in that horrible looking university with poor structures and facilities for 5 years.. assuming that he studied in a conductive environment and atmosphere, at least a Uni with a ceiling fan I'm not talking about AC, I would not have said much.. when an individual decides to embark on a mission to succeed in life and chooses AAU as a choice, that individual is really serious and determined to make it in life....How I wish he stayed a little longer with us to reap the fruit of his labour. |
Go and see a doctor... Remember health is wealth.. |
Which kin thread be this? ![]()

lolu2019:They are undergraduates.. you are right in that aspect... where u got it wrong was calling a young adult a child... That is not good and that's the mentality of some of the Nigerian lecturers... If they want to teach them, they should treat them like adults... when an adult comes to your house or anywhere around u and misbehaves, u don't ask him or her to kneel down. u ask him or her out of your house.. or you walk out on them... even in an organization.. how many times have you heard of bosses asking their employees to kneel down over an error?... this guys are aspiring towards being employed or becoming owners of their businesses after graduation... |
Theunbothered:I tayaooo my dear... ![]() In some parts of the world, Some students were helping their lecturers to carry out a research on Covid-19 and other important research that might help humanity... In another part of the world, things like tucking in shirts were more important.. Humiliation was as normal as counting ABC in primary schools.. it's just heart wrenching. ![]() |
kode12: ![]() Ask him to kneel in front of the class? An undergraduate? who is aspiring to be an engineer, doctor, lawyer etc? How does that even sound to you buddy? Since when have kneeling down in front of the class becomes a conducive way of learning?.. maybe u guys should revisit the meaning of university and the activities that are carried out in the place.. then the conversation might flow nicely... Every institution have rules and regulations... Humiliation is not part of that.. just ask anyone that is in institution management... When a student misbehaved in a class every lecturer knows what to do.. and it was mostly talked about in their meetings... But hey what can I say... |
mikezuruki:Now what is the difference between you and the student you were clamoring for the lecturer to punish? You obviously lack discipline yourself, can't comport yourself and your utterances in a public space... That's very noble of u.. ![]() |
lolu2019:That's just the genesis of the problems Nigerian students were facing... When u see lecturers as your fathers.. they are not and will never be..most of them that were well trained knew that fact... Their very role is to teach/ guide students based on their elected career.. some times coach or mentor the students... You can google mentoring and it's objective... That role was different from a fatherly role... If they want to carry out some kind of discipline, it should be based on lay down rules of the institution... U don't take laws into your own hands because u wanna be a father figure in a higher institution.. |
Fiscus105:Before I answer your question, can you explain what u mean when u said boss lecturers?.. I want to get that part clear... Also I want a matured individual who can handle a decent conversation without insults..if you think you are one, then I'm willing to answer |
Gentlerespect76:You can do more? I'm glad for u that u can only lecture in Nigeria... If you take that approach else where, u might find yourself in labour market the next semester. I don't think Nigeria will ever get to a point where the school management will ask students to evaluate them (lecturers) at the end or middle of every semester... Where any lecturer that was rated low will be relieved of that course because of negative comments from students... Ask many of your colleagues outside Nigerian shores where this system is practiced, they were always acting like fishes outside water because ultimate power have been removed from them.. just because they knew only military regime style of teaching.. anything short of that makes them uncomfortable.. Humiliation can never be tagged teaching... Even common south Africa, I read where a vice principal called out students who did not comb their hair before coming to school and was combing it for them in front of the assembly... The whole nation was against that principal... A lot of us might say ordinary combing but some experts knows the difference between teaching and humiliation |
