I don't understand why you are scared of going back to the hospital, tbh. Usually, at the initial stages, antidepressants present with lots of side effects but they get better with time. If you feel too miserable, however, and can't endure it, you should go see your doctor. Do not discontinue without medical supervision.

Why would someone be going to the hospital just for upset stomach or feeling full? You think people have that kind of time. And you think people in New Zealand don't have financial challenges??

I once had horrible nightmares during my youth service days long time ago in Bayelsa state..
I was posted to a remote village.. there, I discovered that the mosquitoes in that state are of special breeds... U know the type that doesn't care if U were putting on trousers or sucks...
To make the matter worse, I was given a kind of mattress that was as narrow as a footpath and as flat as a mat.. every night I kept on dreaming how I was being chased by a snake, if snakes were not chasing me, I will be falling inside a pit or I will be seeing millipede crawling near me. I usually wake up more especially that millipede one to double check... This were some of the things I hated in my life..

For two weeks I could not sleep so I told the principal that he either buy a mattress for me or give me 1 month to go and look for money to buy myself a mattress..

The man knew that I was looking for an excuse to go home for one month .. he bought a New mattress for me, that was how my nightmares ended...

That was why I also asked people the kind of mattress they were using whenever they complain about nightmares..

I’ve seen this happen three times in my compound in Bariga . first and second was in their room , the third was right in the compound as she was sweeping the compound the baby slipped out of her. And no to forget my mom gave birth to me in a beetle car. God bless our Mothers �

Based on my believe, I don't think it was the man... The man is dead and gone... If truly he was troubled, then it was a familiar spirit that was responsible not his dad... all he need to do is pray and cancel everything that will disturb his sleep at night..
before that, he should ensure his mattress was in good order.. u know what I mean..u can't sleep on a mattress that looks like a mat and wouldn't have nightmares

I tend to agree with the poster you quoted. But if you truly believe what you dreamt, then have a conversation with him to explain why you wont be paying the money. Also let him know you would need his help in refunding the 2 debts on ground. You didnt send him message, his pledge died with him biko. Besides, it's the church he pledged to not the devil. May God rest him well and settle your mind. Please have a good night sleep today....debt/pledge is never transferable biko.
